Salvation

Why it's Just Believe, Merely Believe, Only Believe... in Christ

Obviously this 'brief' will have to be longer than normal, to carry out a "due diligence" disclosure: to document how well-respected Christians mess up the Gospel. (This isn't to accuse them, but is just a fact. We are all human. Famous people, for example, have no time to do homework. Any human can be brilliant on one topic, yet totally stupid on another. That's the problem here.)

First, let's look at the fact you merely believe in christ to be saved. The fundamental thing to understand, is this: The Real Gospel is a Promise you Believe (read Romans 9). So you Believe in God's Promise, or do not. If you do not believe in a promise, then the Promissor doesn't Deliver the Promise, for you rejected it. Here, the promise is an eternal inheritance. So, you can reject a Will that promises you an inheritance. So if you disbelieve the Promise, you disbelieve the Inheritance (it doesn't matter why, you disbelieve it). So, you don't get an inheritance whose promise you DISbelieved, John 16:9, John 3:36.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God (a title meaning how He views Himself as God), the Savior (in His Humanity — meaning of the term "Christ") should know better than the rest of us how we get saved, right? So here's a corrected translation of what He Himself said in John 3:16, from the Attic Greek He spoke: "For God loved the world so much, as A result He gave His uniquely-born Son: so that the one who believes in Him will never perish, but have eternal life." (The words in capitals are the ones most often mistranslated. Bible translators are told to follow weird rules which wreck translation; no good translator would ever follow such rules in a secular profession, so shouldn't follow them for translating Bible, either. The foregoing translation leaves out the weird rules: I used BibleWorks Greek copies of the inspired texts to translate. It's my pastor's translation, too. He only teaches Bible from the original languages.)

The term translated "eternal life" is a technical term in Bible's Greek for the Same Type Of Life As God's. In other words, a plant has a type of life; a dog, a different type of life; a human being, still another-and-different type of life; an angel, yet another different type of life. But God Is Infinite Life: no beginning, no ending. So, when you believe in Christ, you also get God's Life. Which you'd need, to live with God forever after the mortal body ends.

Obviously you Can't Lose What Is Eternal. You get God's Life the same way you got your soul: He breathes it into you, just like He breathed your soul into your body when it first exited from your natal mother's womb. That's why you are, technically, "born from above", but spiritually. See the rest of John 3 for the Lord's explanation on this process. Titus 3:5 in Greek explains the Holy Spirit is the Person Who makes this happen, and that Eternal Life 'resides' in a human spirit. "Salvation Attributes" further explains this topic.

See, Bible repeatedly and in many ways in the original languages explains that all life begins and ends with an exhale; your first breath as a human being was an exhale, and when you die, you (literally) exhale your own soul out from your body. So, you are alive now; so, your believing was an exhale, based on an 'inhale' of information, the Gospel (here, John 3:16); so you get an inhale as a result, of God's Own Life. Your next breath is thus another exhale, and from that moment forward you are compatible structurally with very God. So when you finally exhale your soul, you will never 'perish', but instead immediately get a new sinless body to house both your soul and your human spirit, and thus will you live with God. Forever. (If the so-called 'Rapture' (not a Bible term) occurs after you die, you will get an interim sinless body to live in. See Luke 16:20ff for the fact of an interim body, though Christ took all believers with Him when He ascended, to Heaven: see Ephesians 4:8-10's Greek. The Final Resurrection body everyone of "Church" (another technical Bible term) gets at the same time, that 'Rapture' date, whenever it may be. As you can tell from Luke 16:20ff, each person is recognizable at all times, so you will recognize your loved ones, etc. The new bodies are basically alike, perfect, wonderful; but also unique, kinda like each person appears unique even down here. So forget all the sci-fi UFO stuff with the floating blobs, 🤣.)

John 3:16 is pretty clear, right? Just believe. Simply believe. Only believe. Believe. No Additives. There are literally hundreds of parallel passages in Bible, in both Old Testament and New. So trust God's Word, instead of men's words. I've yet to hear even one time on Christian television, cable or no, the Real Gospel the Lord Speaks (and all other verses affirm). 'Despite hundreds of hours of monitoring the stations, day or night, all you hear are false gospels (covered below), even from the 'greats' whose names are household words. Are all those people on Christian TV even saved, then? Who knows, probably they are: you lose your brains when you are saved, since after salvation you are supposed to live on 1 John 1:9 to get the Holy Spirit's Brains (see Caveat#3). They sure must not be doing it; for they surely don't know the Real Gospel. So look at God's Word, not Christians', to get the correct, Real Gospel.

Despite Bible's clarity, a bazillion fake gospels are sold in ignorance, not malice: you yourself can prove that none of their versions are in the Real Bible. The fake gospels are easy to spot. They always add to "believe", or substitute out "believe" with a different verb. Folks selling these fake gospels seem to think they package what in law is called "attestation" (fancy name for admitting you believe): so they add to God's Word and thus negate it, when they tell you to "invite Christ into your heart" or "receive Christ into your life" or "make Christ Lord", etc. Legally, the verbal clause in the "attestation" actually Negates Faith, so the person is Still Not Saved. Because, Instead of Believe, you are the subject of an Additional Meritorious Verb. Listen to testimonies sometime, hear the innocent-but-arrogant pride: I invited Christ into my heart! I made Christ Lord! I repented of my sins! See how horribly arrogant it all is?

Many fake gospel sellers sincerely conclude that because they see Bible verses with other verbs in them, these verbs are additionally required for "salvation" to occur. Catholicism is rooted in this misuse of Scripture, and today most independent churches are as well. So it's a big misuse, in 99% of Christendom. Fortunately, you can prove all these other verbs are not only irrelevant, that God only saves you if you Simply Believe, but you can prove why these other verbs negate "belief". Examples showing how the negation results, follow below. Fortunately, the person who fell for these defective 'gospels', will probably realize the Real Gospel at some later point, and Just Believe. Whether or not he recognizes the prior 'gospel' was defective, isn't an issue: God recognizes the Correct Faith-Alone Act as of the point it actually occurs. Whew.

The fake gospel sellers probably don't realize their extra verbiage negates the Simple Belief which God the Holy Spirit makes save you: John 16:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:1, Titus 3:5, Ephesians 1:13, 4:30b. It's Only Believe, to save you, and it's Only Believe, after salvation: for Belief in God is On Trial, not works. See here of Hebrews 3 in any translation: compare 3:12 with 3:19, Hebrews 11:1, Hebrews 11:6. (In Hebrew, "shemah" of Deuteronomy 6:4 means to-hear-and-believe, which is the "obey" God wants. Writer of Hebrews is showing that precedence, in Hebrews 3, because Believing was Always the Way to 'Obey' God, and is still True.) So we see that to get saved or to obey God after salvation, at all times, extra verbs Negate Belief; because any other verb is an assertion of self merit. Whether the person realizes it, or not. For if I invite, I accept, I repent, I receive, I am doing something. But to Believe means the Object Did Something On My Behalf. So believing stresses the Object, not the subject.

Christians aren't the only ones who sell fake gospels. Virtually every religion ever on this planet contends you have to do something to warrant Divine approval, however "Divine" is defined, because (sotto voce), you gotta merit Divine approval.

So though the Bible says baldly that you can't do anything to warrant Divine approval for salvation, hence Christ paid for all mankind's sins on the Cross, 'Christians' add to and thus negate that Truth with their i-do-something, 'tags'; thus they sell a fake 'gospel': for they substitute their idea that you must 'do' something besides/other than "believe", to get saved, get blessed, etc. Ad nauseam. That's why most 'Christians' are unhappy, frankly: it's an inherent unhappiness, to believe a lie.

The fake gospel sellers don't realize that someone who hates God very much, is manipulating them to do this selling. Satan knows Divine law better than any human, so he knows how to negate it. So the unending crop of fake gospels has a very deep root system; and it's not human, but satanic. Same guy who manipulated the woman and Adam in Genesis 3, invisibly manipulates all of us, today. Back then he added verbs, too. In Genesis 3, you'll notice that Adam and the woman had to keep believing in God, but there were no works in the Garden. Satan impugned God, implying that belief was demeaning, so if they ate some magic fruit they themselves would be as good as God: that's a religious temptation. Something they added, was supposed to be 'better' than what they had with God in perfection. So he's been doing the same dang thing to the Real Gospel, ever since; so people don't get saved when they add verbs to believe, they get hurt. And then spread that hurt to others, selling the same stupid lie of magic: if do this magic inviting, repenting, accepting, baptising-with-water, I will merit something with God! Yeah, right.

The heart of the Gospel (="official/royal good news") is that God saves you due to grace, not due to any merit of your own. So, ever jealous of us getting something for nothing (never mind that they could've also), Satan & Co. Are out to propagate their own kiddies, as a way of 'getting back' at God; to steal God's harvest, so to speak; to prevent salvation, to malign salvation, to mock us hapless Christians who nonetheless 'manage' to simply believe and thus get saved, anyway. We like sheep go astray because we are more helpless due to being saved.

So, as you read the indented paragraphs below, note carefully how these fake verb clauses all (piously, cleverly!) signify you are doing something. You, not Christ. Thus you negate belief in what Christ did, in favor of what you do. So God will not accept these verbs, because by nature, the verb "believe" depends on the Object's merit, not the subject's. You buy the can of tomatoes due to its merit, not yours. You believe in Christ due to His work, not your own. So notice again how the substitute clauses and verbs all stress the subject's action, negating 'believe'. But God stresses the Object He Himself Judged, His Own Son.

A really common false gospel is an idea akin to attestation, that you must 'invite' Christ somewhere. The many American peddlers of this genre prove they need to learn how to read English: so Satan & Co. Are mocking our stupidity. Look: Christians get the 'invite' idea from Revelation 3:20, but it's addressed to believers ('Church' means believers, in New Testament) at Laodicea — a Knock Of Disciplinary Warning. Clearly the Way/Door of Salvation would not Himself be knocking to get in...

Another common false gospel claim since WWII is called "Lordship salvation", namely, that you must 'make Christ Lord' of your heart, your life, 'commit' (what a farce), give some vow of obedience, etc. If I didn't hear such nonsense with my own ears, I'd never believe such lies were actually sold on TV! Right alongside those magic exercise machines! So look how easily the Bible refutes such claims: "NIV 1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit." See? One must be saved already before he can even admit Jesus is Lord. Romans 10:10 says the same thing (covered below). See also Matthew 22:43.

Of course, sheer common sense would say, "how can puny man make God, God?" John's Gospel says He Always Was Lord, so what the heck do people think they are making? 🤣. And if we could 'commit' or 'vow', why did He have to go to the Cross? See the utterly weird blasphemy? Unintended, of course! Inane, insane, drunk. No verse in any way whatsoever says you have to commit or vow or obey to be saved. In fact, the belief is treated as a synonym for "obedience" in New Testament. "Disobedience" is to not believe: as per John 16:9 — "concerning sin, because they have not believed in Me."

Another common group of fake gospel verbs/clauses are 'repent', 'receive', 'accept', 'come into [my, your] life' or 'heart'. Again, all verbs you do, believing in what you do to gain something, not believing in what He gained for you. These fake gospels are all based on real Bible verses which folks really misread, but with great prejudice, not (necessarily) stupidity: kinda like reading "UFO", though you see a weather balloon made shiny by the way light hits it. They can't read English, either.

For example, "repent" salespeople never notice that "sin" is never the object of the verb: Acts 2:38 has "repent", for example, but the Object is Christ, not sin. Greek verb "μετανοέω" means to change your mind about something. You know: you were planning a trip to the grocery store, but you repent of that, since something else proves more important, or the trip isn't needed. The second misreading the "repent" salespeople do, is they don't recognize who is being told to repent in a verse, so again they don't recognize the object that is to be repented of. For example, you must change your mind about your sin and admit it, as a believer, to be back in fellowship with God, 1 John 1:5-10. But that's for a believer, not an unbeliever. Notice how it has nothing to do with believing in Christ, since you already did that.

The "receive" salespeople can't read Bible, either. "Receive" in Greek really means "to welcome", and in Bible is usually the Greek word "δέχομαι". So when someone comes to your door, you welcome him inside. In the Bible, only believers "receive". Notice the welcoming analogy: if someone knocked at your door and you believed in welcoming him in, then what did you first do? You believed in letting him in, before you actually would let him in. See? The Believing Precedes the Welcoming. And that's how Christ used it, when He warned the Pharisees that they must receive the Kingdom of God (salvation, its inheritance spotlighted) "like a little child" (i.e., Mark 10:15). Children believe, and that's why they are so vulnerable to welcoming strangers, etc. Another common usage of "receive" is really "hear-and-believe", in the Greek, idea that you welcome the information. Well, that's a synonym of believing, but you aren't doing anything: so such "receive" verses in translation are mistranslated, for in English there are different types of receiving, and the translation doesn't make clear it's believing; but God's Word in the Greek makes it clear. So, see? If you read Bible without God's Brains, you can't even properly read it in your native tongue, and are too lazy to learn what Word God Himself Wrote!

Another false gospel, this one based on a MIStranslation at the end of Romans 10:10: the lie that you must tell someone you believe in Christ, or you're not saved. Notice how that's an Added Verb again, oops! And Something You Do again, oops! Aha. For even common sense tells you that's false: if I'm all alone, I must find someone to say I believe, to get saved? What if it were 3am? What if I died while looking for someone, huh? Puh-lease: see the human arrogance and ignorance?

Look: when you Simply Believe In Christ, obviously Omnipresent God hears you, and He is the Only Relevant Witness To Your Faith. Not man. Christ Paid God, So You Believe Toward God. Not man. If you feel more official, you can privately say or think, "Father I believe in Christ." You never have to say aloud that you believe, and you never have to say anything to any human being. Again, this ludicrous idea you must admit salvation aloud is another false 'gospel' commonly pandered, based on a misuse of a Bible verse. Note: the false stresses what man does, and disdains what God does. That's a signature characteristic of a satanically-sponsored lie.

For, Who got paid for sins? Surely not man, who owed the payment, himself. So to claim you must tell man you believe in order to be saved, makes man the arbiter of your salvation! What whopping arrogance, to claim that one sinner talking to another sinner, saves the speaker! That's as insane as the claim getting wet ('baptism') saves you, 🤣! So saves you not at all!

The claim you must speak your faith aloud stems from an inexcusable MIStranslation of Romans 10:10's 2nd "εἰς": the shortest corrected translation of the end of that verse should be, "as a result of salvation". For just as in 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 10:10 means you can't say you believe, unless you already did (Romans 10:9). Which common sense corroborates: since when could your mouth say what you weren't first thinking, huh? Sheesh. We really did lose our brains at salvation. And do you know, the 1550 Geneva Bible translated Romans 10:10 reasonably well. No other English translation since, has done so. Sigh. For almost 500 years! Translators have messed up this verse, and didn't even look at one of their own venerated Bibles! Talk about hypocrisy! We couldn't care less about God, and it shows. Here's exegetical proof of Romans 10:10's mistranslation.

So people misuse Romans 10:10, claiming you must speak your faith aloud in front of them to be saved. Which even common sense proves false: for, since when do humans supplant God, The Only Relevant Witness? Always suspect as a lie any claim about Scripture which emphasizes man, his behavior, or his role. People want to 'peg' others as being part of the 'in' group or the 'out' group, so they 'read' into Bible a 'requirement' that you must tell them you believe, to get saved. Well, sheesh: surely God would not make satisfying human prejudice or approbation, a requirement of salvation!

Souls who are in a prolonged state of sin or are too far gone.. Sell false gospels. Pray for them, but don't argue with them. They have no brains. So they can't hear you. If a person isn't hearing God, he won't hear you, either. Use 1 John 1:9, pray to Father in Son's Name for their healing. They need all the prayer they can get, since they may not even be saved, and surely their own prayers are going no higher than the ceiling.

Lawyers make the same kinds of mistakes (or deliberate distortions), and Satan & Co. Are nothing if not lawyerly. For Bible is all about, Inheritance: so it is first a set of legal documents, so should be read as you'd read law and literature. In all languages' grammar rules, and in any legal document, if a single verb is attributed as having an effect all by itself, then any unalike verbs referencing that same effect, relate in some unalike way; they are results, but never causes. Adjunctive, maybe; optional, maybe; describing the effect itself, maybe. But never, causative of the effect. So when Bible says believe is the only verb for salvation (i.e., in John 3, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9), it signifies that only believing is used to make you saved. Any other verbs in any other verses, or any combining of verbs with "believe" in a verse all signify that the other verb is adjunctive, optional, a description of the effect, but never causative.

Try this experiment: search in any Bible you have, on the word "repent". Olde English meaning of that term was to change your mind about something. That's the Greek meaning, too: μετανοέω, "change"(μετά) + "thinking"(νοέω). Notice how the Object isn't mentioned, for you can change your mind about anything. So, there can be multiple objects. Notice also how it's the mind, not emotion. How you feel is adjunctive, not causative. So: when you see "repent", and there is no object in the verse, you can't assume that the object is "sin". What you can assume is that the topic in the verse is what you are to change your mind about.

In Acts 2:38, for example, Peter says simply "repent", but next says "be baptised with reference to the forgiveness of sins". (capped words are corrected translation of the preposition "εἰς", in the Greek: alternate translations can be resulting from, or because of, or due to — there's a link below on Romans 10:10 which also mistranslates εἰς, so you can understand this problem better.) Notice how believe isn't mentioned.

Because, Changing Your Mind Is Adjunctive, and so is the baptising. If you didn't believe in the Gospel, it's because you believe it's not true. So, before you believe, you first discover why is it true, and thus Change Your Mind about it. Then, you believe. Having believed, were you in Peter's day you'd have followed the then-popular custom of dipping yourself in a river, to Illustrate The Identification With Christ On The Cross (going down in the water), and identification with Christ forever (coming up out of the water). Greek word "Βαπτισμός" means identification with: it's an effect, not a cause. Greek Hoplite recruits had a graduation ceremony where they baptised their graduation swords in pig's blood because they graduated, not to get graduated. So, being baptised is an optional ceremony illustrating the effect of salvation, not causing it. The term Βαπτισμός is repeatedly covered in my other sites in more detail.

If course, sheer common sense would tell you, if the Bible says belief in Christ saves you, then says belief and something else in another verse, it can't be that the something else is also needed for salvation — or God would be a liar. Hence the presence of the something else, is about something else, not how-to-be-saved.

Even common sense proves that if Christ paid for all mankind's sins a whopping 2000 years ago (see 1 John 2:2), how can there be anything to add, for crying out loud? Just Believe It. Even common sense proves you're not saved if you substitute or add anything to belief. Because, Christ Is The Only Object Of Belief, Because He Is The One Who Paid. Use Your Brain: if you must 'repent' (etc.) to be saved, then you are believing in What You Do (repentance, inviting, accepting, etc.), instead of in Christ..so you'd reject Him in favor of yourself.. So, not saved! Just as He explained in John 16:9, "Concerning sin: Because They Do Not Believe In Me." Him. Alone. Believe. 100% SUPERnatural, no human additives, Alone pleases God: Hebrews 11:6.

Zilch salvation from any verbs except "believe", then. Any other verb results in the Wrong object believed (self), wrong verb (something meritorious self does), so is Thrown Out Of Heaven's Court.

Again, always suspect as a satanic lie any claim which emphasizes man, his behavior, or his role. The sweeter (or guiltier) the lie, the more it will be urged upon you. God doesn't need to urge, anything at all. But Gramma Satan sure does: we're Hansel und Gretel, to them!

Religion always is from Satan, and religion always makes stinks about human merit. God's saying there is no amount of human merit or demerit which can count, since He Is Infinitely Holy. So He Did Something About The Problem, since Only Infinite God can Solve a Problem Related To Infinity. Hence John 3:16, no additives, no works, no emotion, ritual, and definitely no magic (baptism, incantations, etc). If you can do something, it's not the solution. Believing in the Object however, isn't doing anything. You believed a can of tomatoes was good, so you bought it. You believe Christ paid for your sins, so you 'buy' John 3:16. Without money, and without price, Isaiah 55!

Again, God doesn't need anything from you, Because Christ Paid, get it? So don't add anything: Just Believe Christ Paid For All Your Sins. If you added anything to faith in the past, you are not saved, because adding is works, which cancels faith (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:1ff). So Simply Believe In Christ. Read John 3 for yourself, or any verses the Lord speaks, even in the Gospels. He never says anything but "believe", saves.

So no false 'christs', please:

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and in that moment you are forever saved... for there is no other person under Heaven given among men through whom we must be forever saved." (Concatenation of Acts 16:31 and Acts 4:12 from the original Greek, corrected translation.)

Oh: you need Believe Only Once To Be Forever Saved, so technically you can choose to sin like crazy after that; not a bright idea, since sin has its own nasty, damaging effects apart from any offense against God; but you can't lose your salvation. God didn't invent sin, so He didn't invent the nasty effects of sin, either; He merely warns of it, and will 'punish' to slow down those nasty effects.

Sin shrinks your soul, eventually making you mean and small, unable to enjoy your life; making everyone around you, wish they could be a million miles away. Goes like this: with every sin you sin, you lose the ability to enjoy; for you increase the addiction to the same sin. If you know anything about addiction to anything, at some point the initial 'high' of it becomes instead, a tyrant over you, and that tyranny replaces the enjoyment. So you end up just trying to appease the tyrant, never actually enjoying anything, anymore. Doesn't matter if it's drugs, booze, sex, TV, church attendance, works, beauty pageants.. If you have this urge to do it, you're looking at the tyrant. And if you appease it (which you are urged to do), you will reduce your freedom, your ability to enjoy, and you will instead increase the very urge you are trying to get rid of. But you can't lose your salvation. You can only lose a whole lot of enjoyment that learning to say no to the urges, builds. Which is why you need a Bible to learn: it fights the urges, you fire Bible at the urges. Kinda like sports practice, where you practice the same moves over and over.

Self-righteous people are addicted to their self-righteous sins, like the Pharisees were, so they bristle when they hear the Lord forgave David when he fornicated, Moses when he murdered, Paul when he persecuted others, the adulteress in John 8, etc. See, you can truly sin all you want after salvation — these self-righteous people sure are, infecting TV with their activism, their prolifer lies, as if God were so stupid (or sadistic) as to put a soul in a womb! Yeah, and look how they prove the foregoing paragraph: small, mean souls, enjoying nothing, constantly appeasing their own self-imposed tyranny of self-righteousness, even abusing interpretation of Bible, so they can falsify spirituality as something you do, falsify the Gospel as something you do, adding to Gospel and spiritual life just like Satan added verbs in Genesis 3! Just like Cain, who was ticked off God didn't want his hard-won vegetable crop, in Genesis 4!

So notice what else is missing from God's Truth about your life, post-salvation: all the religious tyrannies. There's no penance, no ritual, no need to attend church, no need to give money or be 'a good person' (see Isaiah 55, Romans 5:8); in short, none of what is pandered as 'needed', is. Further, nobody has spiritual power over you, for you are your own priest! The first time you simply believe Christ paid for all your sins, all these things happen to you. For more information if you want to know Right This Second what it means to be a Royal Priest, (Royal Ambassador-for-God, really... yes: Royal.)

What follows below is to demonstrate that the same added-verbs falsification of the Gospel, is satanically promulgated in post-salvation Christian teaching, too. Again, those under the 'spell' (all of us, k) don't know it. That's why we need to be in God's System. God's, not man's.

Note how satanic distortion of Added Verbs is spun Post-Salvation, too: Satan's Revelation 17, Fake Church (pretending to be of Christ)

Bible uses special vocabulary, poetry, wit, wordplay. If you are self-righteous, all that enjoyable reading just goes right over your head. So Bible is a "mystery" to self-righteous Christians. Yeah, and "mystery" is one of those special vocabulary words the Bible uses to designate the Body of Christ, AKA all believers in Him between Pentecost and Rapture, AKA "Church". Bible defines all these terms: but if you're busy hating, you can't read it very well. Satan is busy hating. So the term "mystery" is applied in Revelation 17 to show Satan's out to make Christ and Bible a "mystery" to us, since we are the "mystery", the unknown solution until Christ announced it in Matthew 16:18, Church. Unknown, in the Old Testament, because until Israel rejected Him, there was no such thing. So now a "mystery": Greek word "μυστήριον" means an exclusive knowledge, not an unknown; but because exclusive, it's unknown to those outside the group. Church is that group. So the mystery harlot in Revelation 17, is unknown to hapless humans, a satanic counterfeit. See the wordplay? Satan reverses the "mystery" we are, to make God mysterious, foreign to us!

As noted earlier, the originating sin "fall" of Adam was religious in nature, so the "sin nature" ("flesh", in English Bibles) is religious in nature. Always claiming self good, trying to get good.. At someone else's, expense. So of course everyone who lived before us, had the same problems and insecurities we do. So of course when Israel's promised Messiah (Savior) came, she rejected Him, preferring her religious works. Unfortunately, all time grants depended on Israel's acceptance, so theoretically the world should have come to an end. (That sounds bizarre, but you can prove it from Bible, math, and history: how to's are in Mirroring.htm.) So, the Lord's going to the Cross 'rescued time' at the very last minute (Mirroring covers this, too). But He had to "call out" a new Bride since the planned one had rejected Him (reverse of Book of Esther, but same meaning). That's what Matthew 16:18 is all about. So we are made to be a solution, in that the Lord was awarded a Bride, and the first one said no.. So now the second ("last" in Bible) says yes. Obviously we're completely graced out, huh. But technically, all this is a "mystery", unknown because not done, prior. And as far as the world is concerned, we are unknown, too. So, a mystery to them; but we get the Bible, our Book of "mysteries" (again, Greek term means knowledge only known within a special group, which group here can be anyone in the human race). Nothing mystical about it.

So now see Satan's wit: since the Church is a "mystery", he wants to make it mysterious to the Church, what this Bible says! So fosters a fake Church, so to confuse us as to what's Christian, and what's not; what's "Biblical" and what's not; even, what books are the Real Bible, and which are not. The Jews got put through all this as well, so.. Well, the Last Bride gets even more obfuscation. That's what Revelation 17 is all about: a religio-political 'Church' which passes itself off as being from God. Not any one denomination, but a character of false Ambassadorial representation (priesthood), teaching, etc., ad nauseam. Which by the way, looks like every other religion ever on the planet, except it has the name "Christ" slapped on.. Preening. History shows how this harlot has behaved, and you can watch her parade in nearly every pulpit and 'Christian' station you turn on, at any given moment of the day.

So there are scads of added verbs, and the lone "believe" verb which constitutes the spiritual life, is negated. Same tactic as used to negate the Real Gospel of John 3:16. Look how many added verbs: for high-class harlotry involves politicking, power, seduction, salesmanship, looks, works, and money. You are made to feel guilty if you don't give in, so you are urged upon. Hmmmm. Sounds like typical Christianity as the world knows it, huh. You bet.

So "tithe" is misused, too: real Bible says it's secular income tax, not something you give to a church, for crying out loud. This blatant misuse of Scripture you can prove in translation, 🤣. Read Leviticus and Deuteronomy yourself. Notice the difference between the Levitical offering and the "tithe", remembering that the Temple was a fortress, the safest place to put the state treasury's income tax. For, that's what "tithe" was: a National Income Tax, not for 'church' at all (God imposed a flat tax). Levitical offerings were for what we'd call 'church' today; always voluntary, never based on income at all (see also Luke 21, NASB or NIV).

It's not rocket science, to prove the Bible disagrees with what popular people say: in either the translation or the original languages (and the original is unmistakable). See also Revelation 21:24,26, where the income tax (tribute) is called "glory", in eternity (confer Psalms 72:10). There's no temple fortress in eternity, k? So you can't mistake that this money isn't going to any church, even if you were dumb enough not to notice the Old Testament secular use of the Temple for national income taxes because it was a fortress. But there remain taxes! When taxes are paid by foreign dependents, the ancient term is "tribute". God sure knows how to state a condition of happiness — imagine considering it a glory to pay taxes?

Guess it's no surprise that you're exhorted to hustle for God in some kind of works-for-people, too, the second you believe. Again, always suspect as a lie any claim which emphasizes man, his behavior, or his role. The sweeter (or guiltier) the lie, the more it will be urged upon you. God doesn't need to urge, anything at all. Seeds of faith don't become trees overnight. The first time you simply believed in Christ, you were permanently saved, born-again, and through Christ you inherited a portfolio of assets which the Bible explains. You have a choice to learn those assets.. Or not. If you do choose to learn, it takes years of feeding on the Word of God, before you can competently 'do' anything; just as, it takes years for a baby to grow up. However, you don't have to do anything or learn anything. Again, God doesn't ever need to urge anything on anyone. He's too gorgeous, to have to sell Himself.

Guess it's no surprise then, that Christian teachers nearly all focus on teaching you how to use the Word, rather than Simply Teach What Bible Says. Just like they add to the real Gospel, other verbs you do, they add to the Word what they think you should do with it. But that's not God's Will: God's will is that you yourself Learn The Word and you yourself Live On It. Which you can prove pretty easily, since in nearly every Bible verse, you are exhorted to Live On It (e.g., Matthew 4:4).

Note how, if you are living on it, then it has the merit, not you. It does all the work. That's the Lord's claim. By contrast, if you are to do something apart from it, then you, not it, are meritorious. That's Satan's claim. So teachers who tell you how to use the Word apart from you yourself knowing the Word itself, are telling you to make the Word powerful by means of your power. They don't mean to be saying this: they think they are merely packaging the Truth, and don't realize they thus negate the Truth. Just as, they don't mean the 'packaging' of the attestation to negate salvation, either...

So teachers should merely teach you what the Word says, proving to you from the original languages what the actual inspired words, are. In short, the "pastor" is supposed to teach you how to fish, not give you fish to eat. For example, congregations are inspiringly exhorted to have faith, be patient, do for others, avoid sin; the brilliant oratory makes one enthuse to get cracking, too — but how? Before WWII, American soldiers were drilled and exhorted and pumped up: but they had only cars, no tanks to train with. They had broomsticks, no guns to practice shooting. So too, today's churches. Lots of great and enjoyable speeches, but no spiritual fuel — so the people perish for lack of Knowledge Of God (Hosea 4:6). Not for lack of rah-rah.

Christ Himself didn't use His Own Power to have faith, be patient, avoid sin: but instead, Ate The Word (Matthew 4:4). The Word did the work (central theses in James, 1 John, Romans8). But how is a congregation gonna eat a Word which it doesn't have? Pastors have the Word, and prove they really eat it: but they don't pass the Word onto their congregations, they pass the use of the Word onto them: use, but not the Word itself — folks can read the verses, but don't really know what the verses mean. They are left to fend for themselves on how Bible words interrelate across Scripture, and eat too little, too infrequently. Because instead of being taught the Word itself, they are assumed to know the Word itself, so are taught the usage. Bible is too rich in nuance, to get it by reading yourself. You need a pastor to beat his brains out learning the meanings of a passage — and then he takes you through the meanings, passing on that info to you. Now you have it. Directly.

If instead all you get is inspiring usage of a verse (50 seconds on the verse, 50 minutes on the usage), the resulting problem goes like this: if you do my dishes for me, then exhort me to do the dishes, how can I, since I still didn't learn how to do the dishes? Here's another analogy, throwing money at poor people to get them out of poverty: since they don't have money, they don't know how to use money (especially, how to save) — so they remain poor despite money. Give a man a fish, and you give him dinner; teach a man how to fish, and you give him a livelihood.

Imagine telling a man to build a spaceship, when he has no math or physics background. Imagine further that you build the spaceship, and he watches: that's what most sermons are. The pastor knows the Word, but doesn't explain the Word itself, but rather only the usage. So now you try to build the spaceship, but.. Um, you don't have the knowledge underneath, to really do it. You can only ape what you saw/heard. That will build a few parts to the ship, maybe.. But the vehicle certainly won't fly. Catholicism got started via a sincere belief that teaching do's rather than Know's of the Word somehow 'helped' people. Look at all the historical havoc wrecked in and by Christians, as a result. Exact same trend goes on now, but via the independent churches.. Revelation 17 harlot. Christian, beware...

Another example. In math class, you learn the math, but then you apply the math, i.e., get homework exercises to use what principles you learned. Bible is spiritual math par excellence, and you need it taught to you — at which point, you as a Priest are to apply it 24/7. Never-ending homework, since it's really Your Life. Idea for it to become a thinking pattern (secular math, even, is a thinking pattern). You need words and grammar and sentence structure and style data to craft sentences and paragraphs and papers. You need Bible to craft Divine Thinking, which is why we Got The Book. But the Book is Designed to be Taught: Matthew 4:4 uses the word "ῥῆμα" for "Word"; in Greek, "ῥῆμα" means Taught-by-Teacher-Word (regular word for "Word" is λόγος). Ephesians 4:11-16 is blow-by-blow explicit about the role of the teacher in making you grow up in Christ (very graphic).

Look: my pastor taught his congregation how to study the Word, by teaching us the Word itself. As is. Daily. Verse by verse, mostly, from the original languages of Scripture, over 53 years. So, as I Learned The Word Itself, that Word became my own thinking, because I habitually ate (believed) it and live on it. I didn't need my pastor to tell me how to use it, I needed him to teach me what it is. So, now that I know what it is, It cycles in my head 24/7, even while sleeping. Sure, as he learned fantastic uses of the Scripture, he taught us those also: but we already knew first what the Scripture was, so we could understand the uses of it he explained. So we ourselves could ourselves use it. But had he merely explained the use without the Meaning Underneath, we'd have been aping what he said like kids ape their parents, clomping around in Mommy's/Daddy's shoes...

Every shepherd of physical sheep 'feeds the sheep' by teaching them how to forage. Sheep alone among animals have zero instinct; they don't know how to scent water, forage, etc — they are the dumbest of creation's animals. That's why the shepherd is a nomad, leading his sheep to where they should eat. He doesn't chew the food for them! Thus Christian sheep today don't have a clue, despite carefully-crafted messages by millions of often-brilliant! Pastors worldwide, messages you can't even understand Unless You Already Know Scripture. Which, they don't teach. Instead, they eat the food and then regurgitate it for you — so you get no nourishment. Thus the pastor's got the hardest Job on earth!

For, the Bible is a Thinking Pattern. Alive and powerful, like Hebrews 4:12 says. It is the power, not me. It is alive, more than me. So if it is in me, then it runs me (with my continuing consent, of course), so long as 1 John 1:9 is breathed (staying online with the Holy Spirit, Who runs it). Because of what it is, I love it, for "it" is the Thinking of My Beloved Lord. So, "I" merely respond to "it", and "it" does all the work. So, I'm motivated by it, nourished by it, sustained by it, empowered by it. By it. Not by 'me'. I can't be empowered by someone else's use of it, but only my own — so the Word has to be in me for 'me' to have it, capisce? Everything else, is an effect, but the Word In You Is The Uncreated Cause, Even As God Is Truth (uncreated). So you can kiss goodbye all those fantasies of being faithful, obedient, patient, nice — because you can't do anything on your own. Even Christ didn't do anything but Get The Word In Him. Which is how He became the "Way, the Truth, and the Life". So also.. Us.

Notice how there are no added verbs in God's Plan. As a sheep, you eat Word, which everywhere in Bible is a metaphor for believe. You just eat Word; you don't run around doing works, getting involved in politics, urging others to do the same. Sheep don't do anything but eat and get fat. Sure, in real life you've got a Job to do: but Bible tells you what to do with your body, and it's always and only based on the Word you ate. Not on anything else. For your real Job, is to be a Royal Priest for Father. So whatever you do, is for father. Not, for the world. Learning how to do with this body in this world for Father is rather a different Job than the harlot-y stuff pandered by Satan's Fake Counterfeit Churchinanity. So you need downtime, to learn; even as when you were a kid, you didn't jump up and start driving a car, so also you need to learn how to drive God's car. It takes time.

So who's selling all the to-man stuff? Think: it can't be God doing the selling — so it must be 'the other guy'. Satan's into hustling, not God. God can take care of the sparrows, so He can take care of you. Satan, by contrast, wants to cut God out, so invented religion for mankind, beginning in Genesis 3. Religion is depicted as a harlot in Revelation 17 (from many an Old Testament metaphor, see Hosea, Ezekiel 16): harlots seduce for money, honey. Harlots promise you something in return for something. By contrast, God has promised us "every spiritual blessing" (Ephesians 1), which therefore includes all lesser blessings (i.e., externals).. For nothing. Free. Gratis. Grace. We were saved by grace, so the "law of grace", like gravity, invincibly governs. (For much more about this conflict between God and Satan, you can click on the "Thinking" series box at Home page top.) "law of grace" is a real phrase in Bible but I can't find it translated that way. Closest translations with that meaning I could easily find were Acts 20:32 and Hebrews 4:16, 1 Peter 5:10. There were others (i.e., parallelisms like in John 1:14-16), but to list them would also require explaining. If a Bible verse equates one noun or verb with another, then noun "A" = noun "B", so you know the meaning of both. 1 John is entirely constructed of such parallelisms. Hebrews is actually a book on the new law of grace, though that phrase isn't used there.

Again, always suspect as a lie any teaching which stresses man and his role. That's the opposite of the Truth That God Does Everything. So the lies are sponsored avidly by Satan & Co. You can detect the lie and prove by Scripture what's the lie, what's the truth: usually, quickly. For, again: always suspect as a lie, any teaching which stresses man and his role.

So Simply Believe In Christ, To Be Permanently Saved. If you want to know God after that, you can: He will have appointed some male teacher especially keyed to your way of thinking. God will show you who is your own appointed pastor, but you must ask Him to show you (it's a legal consent to know). In all events, "believe" remains the only valid verb; to save you (first time you believed the Word, the Gospel); and to grow you up (learning and believing in the rest of the Word). So other verbs — i.e., works — are of no consequence at any time, before or after salvation. Which makes sense, given that Christ really did pay for it all (1 John 2:2), huh. No money is needed from you, see Isaiah 55! For, it's never about what man does, but only and always about what God does! That's a truth you can always bank on, heh.

"Born From Above": Attributes you Acquire Due to Salvation

Belief-in-Christ → born in Christ. Forever With Him: saved from Hell, saved to God.

Bible's John 3:16, in a corrected expanded translation from the inspired Greek, so you can see more of what it means than translations can show:

"God Loved the entire-world-of-people so much, to-effect-that-motive He gave to it His Uniquely-Born Son, in order that anyone who believes in/upon Him will never perish-in-Hell, but forever have Eternal Life."

The extra words in English are actually meant in the original Greek, but the Greek needed fewer words to say the same thing, i.e., Greek word "γε" refers to the world of people. Bible translations always truncate meaning, so much of what is in the inspired, original language text, is missing from the translation. That's why translations are so confusing, contradictory, snoozy, etc. English translation of John 3:16 is okay, but the above translation is more accurate, conveying more of the original language meaning in the inspired real Bible. Translations are not inspired. The actual Greek is quickly exegeted for you in my Youtube video.

Romans 5-8 constitute a great primer on how salvation changes the inner being of a person. 1 Corinthians 2, 2 Corinthians 5, Hebrews 5-10, Ephesians 3-4, are also instructive. If you are a believer, breathe 1 John 1:9 so to be online with the Spirit (AKA "Filled", getting His Brains!), so you can perceive Scripture. Else you'll be wasting your time. Read it for the big-picture sense it makes, and read it over a good two dozen times in translation. No translation is good, but NIV, NASB are somewhat less fuzzy than the others. All translations screw up Ephesians 4.

Once you've done this single, simple belief as explained in verses like John 3:16 and Acts 16:31, you're a "born-again believer"; and thus your destiny forever is as a full-fledged, highest-order priest for father, Who Hears you every second you breathe. [1 Peter 2:5,9, Revelation 1:6, 5:10, 1 Corinthians 4:8 (Corinthians getting puffed up about it). See Hebrews 5-10 on Precedence, a critical doctrine for understanding how Church came to even exist. (Which incidentally proves the correct basis for why the Rapture is Pre-Tribulation: Priesthood must be completed before Israel can be rescued, Hebrews 11:39-30. Lvs4a.htm covers that topic in detail.) Bible also uses many Greek-religion terms (Bible makes analogies for humans so uses human ideas to convey Divine information); but English always euphemizes those terms, so you don't realize this doctrine is being discussed.]

There's a whole lot of confusion on this topic of the mechanics of "saved". To complement the above videos, here's a brief. When you're done, review "God's System" for a succinct description of your status in Christ; the longer explanation is in "Due Disclosure". Holy Spirit can show you verses which help you see where Bible says the same things: use 1 John 1:9, and ask Father in Son's name to show you Biblical Authority. That's a subordination, on your part, so justifies the intimacy of Him showing you. It's faster, too, than my explaining.

So, here are just some key facts of what happens. Really, it looks like the listing should comprise about 100 items! My pastor likes to stress 40 of them, and how all this happens in a second's breadth-of-time. I'll just list a few, though, in judicial order (though they actually happen all at once).

  1. All your pre-salvation sins are blotted out, because when you first believed in Christ, you first agreed to the Divine Terms, and so Peace occurs. Thereafter, if you reject the salvation contract, you can only be in a 'state' of sin, but never again can you be an unbeliever, because you can't turn back time. "Due Disclosure" explains the Before, During, and After of a contract. So: Before you were saved, you were under a different 'contract': the Gospel, a salvation contract. Now that you are saved, you got the salvation contract. So, your 'before contract' status is blotted out. [It's not that the sins weren't paid for, but the person who rejects the Gospel refuses credit be granted. Basically, the belief problem is about whether the terms of payment Christ made are accepted by both parties. God says, "Yes". But the human being must agree. Which, he won't do, if he doesn't believe it. Greek Geek Note: I suspect verses like Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 say the blot-out, but the schools on it are polarized; one claims that all post-salvation sins are forgiven also (which contradicts other Scripture), and one says "forgiveness" is a post-salvation structure only, distinguishing between the provision for forgiveness, and actual forgiveness (which thus fits verses like 1 John 1:9, but begs the question of what happens at the moment of First Belief). Seems to me (and I'm guessing) that verses like 1 John 1:9, Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 might 'fit' as follows. If we interpret for the first belief in Christ, both ἀπολύτρωσιν and ἀφῆσιν; but then, post-salvation, 'ἀφῆσιν' stands for the subsequent structure of the 1 John 1:9 process, on the grounds that, post-salvation status is the beginning of a new contract which was born as a result of the Gospel contract being accepted (post-salvation forgiveness, as a new violation-of-contract clause). For, the Gospel operates as a pre-salvation 'contract', which upon receipt, gives 'birth' (pun intended) to the post-salvation contract, i.e., position in Christ, for Church. So, Greek-wise, whether you'd have to call Ephesians 1:7 &Colossians 1:14 is koine or Attic for syntactical demonstration of this fit, I don't know. Attic is how my pastor views those verses' clauses, and his reasoning makes more sense to me. Yet: would Paul deliberately use a Greek construction which can be taken as both koine and Attic, to denote the shift in contracts, from the 'common' Gospel, to our Dramatic position in Christ? Especially, since he demonstrates a fondness for deliberate double-entendres, as in Romans 5:5's subjective and objective genitive, ἀγάπη τοῦ Θεοῦ?)
  1. You are therefore pronounced justified, so imputed with divine righteousness (two types, really, Father's and Son's). 2 Corinthians 5:21 is the basis. It's a judicial imputation, due to that basis. But it is a real Attribute which really is part of you forever. Can't lose God's Attribute, since God is Eternal.
  1. As a result, you are Judicially Justified to have Intimacy with God. So, next you are regenerated, which means you are given Eternal Life (another attribute of God's), e.g., John 3, and at the same time, a human spirit is created to 'hold' both the Divine Righteousness and EL attributes (remember, God is not spatial, so these are all attributes bound immaterially), i.e., Titus 3:5.

'Human spirit' means you are spiritually alive. It's a type of immaterial beingness which is compatible with God's Own Beingness. Thus, spiritual communication can occur (central theme of 1 Corinthians 2). A plant has a type of beingness. So does a dog. So does a human soul. So does God, who obviously has no body. Think of this beingness as a level of thinking, not merely the faculty itself, but How High; so obviously a plant has no 'thinking' worth the name. A dog, marginal. A human, more. God, Total. With Whose Faculty of Thinking, you yourself are finally, compatible. You can't feel it. That's why John talks about God as Light: you can see, now. But you can't see light itself, only its effect. Like the Lord said in John 3: you can't see or feel the Spirit, only the effect He has. And that effect, like we just learned, is a perception of spiritual things. Provided through the Spirit (covered below).

Note further that because Divine Righteousness and Eternal Life are 'inside' this human spirit, you can't lose it. Again, because God is Eternal, and now you have two of His Own Attributes. (You cannot be Regenerated until you first believe in Christ. The faith is the juridical condition for being born from above, just as the Lord says in John 3. Calvinism gets the two steps backwards, but Bible never does. Faith is always listed as coming chronologically first, i.e., in John 3:16.)

  1. As a result of being regenerated, you are now baptised into christ, a legal status (not felt or physical-water). This is why your Destiny is as Royal Priest to Father the second you believed, because that's Christ's Destiny, and you are in Him (part of Him, judicially). The rest of this "Due Diligence" section will further explore the meaning of your Priesthood. For now, just get the idea that "Baptism of the Spirit" is a legal and real status you have, not a feeling thing. (If you don't compare Scripture with Scripture all over the Bible, you screw up interpretation. Big screwups are here. People should stop using Acts to discern the Spirit's work, for all of Acts is about the to-Israel warning which even Paul got messed up in; not primarily about the Ministry of the Spirit with respect to salvation. Some verses are important with respect to His Ministry, but the narrative of what people did is largely to show how wacko everyone was. Luke uses a lot of Attic genitive absolutes, to show that, but there's no way to translate an accusative absolute in English. Oh well.)

This is what Paul's talking about in Ephesians 4:5. Romans 6 explains what it means, and so does 2 Corinthians 5. Bible synonym for this Baptism is "Sealing", which was a Roman method of attesting ownership and responsibility. Theology has a lot of terms for this legal position, which includes heirship: "positional sanctification", "retroactive positional sanctification" (theme of Romans 6), "Union with Christ" (term of my pastors and some others), etc. Point is, you are united in that Divine Corporation through Christ. Forever. Because He lives forever. Again, this is a theme of Romans 6.

So you are under A new contract: "in Christ". That's why you are a Priest. It's a post-salvation contract, and it never ends, because you changed nature as a result of your first "yes", that belief-in-Christ. So there is no such thing as "after", but only during, as in "enduring" — forever. You can 'break' the contract by sinning; re-enter it, by using 1 John 1:9; break it by not learning Bible Doctrine, because it's only via the Power of the Spirit and learning Doctrine that you gain the power to resist sin; and it doesn't happen, overnight, because sin shattered the soul, so it takes time to clear away soul rubble and replace it with Divine Housing, so to speak. This "Disclosure" section will say a lot more on this topic, but for right now, just know that you break the contract by sin, but re-enter if you use 1 John 1:9. I use it like breathing. Took a few years to get that habit, but worth it!

You can also break the contract by never getting under your right pastor. "Right pastor" doesn't mean watching Christian television. It means one authority who the Holy Spirit appoints for you. So, use 1 John 1:9 and ask Father in Son's Name, to cause you to find this male (never a female) [More about the problem of female pastors is at the end of the "Disclosure" section.] The "one" means one-at-a-time. (God might 'graduate' you to some other teacher, depending on how you're growing.)

At any time, using 1 John 1:9 re-enters the contract, gets you back online (explained in next point); it doesn't matter what sin you commit. You'll be spanked, but for breach-of-contract, not the sin itself. As you'll see later on in this section, the breach-of-contract spanking is far worse than for the sin, but since Christ Paid For All Sins, all that's left to spank you for, is the breach-of-contract.

Remember: Since your Spiritual Birth Occurred Due To A Prior Contract, breaking this one has no effect on your salvation. Breakage can only affect how you live from now on, and how you live in Heaven. "Glory to glory" is a Bible phrase for this, so you will surely be happy after this life..but how much more, depends on how you agree to this new contract. More about it, will follow in this "Due Diligence Disclosure" section.

  1. As a result of that, you are filled with the Spirit, for the sake of spiritual breathing and function. It's a condition you can't feel any more than you can 'feel' saved. (Feeling is a body thing, but God is Immaterial, get it? Any feeling you have is the body's reaction to thoughts in your soul, at best, since body and soul are hooked up via brain.) The purpose of Filling is to Run Your Human Spirit So It Can Interface With The Soul. For, the soul is a different type of beingness, but it is the real you. For, the soul is where your volition is, and you need Spiritual Information in order to decide, think, etc. So, you need a processor, so your soul can have a Spiritual Relationship With God. That's what the human spirit, does. So, only the Holy Spirit can run that interfacing. Think of this interfacing as being online, versus being offline, with God, for that's the functional effect. Much more about the role of Filling will be said later on.

But know this upfront: just as that baby, though having free will, would soon after birth sin, so also you can't resist temptation absent Filling. So all those preachy calls to "repent, brother" cannot be done, because sin is an atom bomb, and only God's Power can (gradually, at that) counter it. So stay online, or after sin, quickly get back online via 1 John 1:9. For, just as Christ Himself didn't resist sin except through learning spiritually and staying Filled, so also, you. Take your tip on 'repentance' from Christ: don't try to do anything on your own power. Ignorance abounds. In old English of King James VI & I's day, "repentance" meant changing the mind, not an emotion or even some attempt to do something. Greek word is "μετανοέω": μετά, change; νοέω, thinking. Changing your mind. No, becomes Yes. Whether a decision to repent of eating another taste of foul food, or repent of going to the store because you have something more important, or... whatever.

  1. So, because you are a royal priest for Father, to best integrate you into your new forever-life, Father Son and Spirit permanently Indwell you: this is a unique level of intimacy between God and humans, one of (at least) 40 things Christ bought for you while on the Cross. (Frankly, we only get it, because Christ was born Indwelt, and we are "Body". More on that moniker follows in the "Due Disclosure" link: after you load that page, then search on the word "drooling", and start reading.) You can't lose (or feel) this Indwelling, either.

Details: Maybe half of the New Testament "in" verses which reference any one of Them and the believer in the same sentence, are on the topic of the Indwellings. The "in" is a permanent position of privilege, a permanent status, and a potential. That's why your body is made a Temple by the Holy Spirit, for John 1's "σκηνόω" is being repeated in our bodies (Revelation 4:1, Revelation 19 and Revelation 21, plus Ephesians 2, all tie in); see also 1 Corinthians 6:16-19; this is why you need 1 John 1:9 — Greek word there translated "cleanse" really means "purified", and is the same word used for purifying the Temple in the LXX. The "potential" use of "in" is conveyed as follows, with "Christ" being used as something to be built, formed, dwell in you. For example, "Christ in you", in Colossians 1:25-27, means the Building Of His Thinking, which is Scripture itself (1 Corinthians 2:16 and all Word verses, since "Word" is one of His Titles both in Old Testament and New Testament.) All of 1 Corinthians 13 is a portrait of Head, His Thinking, the Legacy of Completed Canon. Of course, the translation can't convey this, because Paul plays on Greek words to show what he means: a tactic he began, way back in Chapter 2.

On the other hand, if A Member of the Godhead is the Object of "in", you see an Indwelling statement (and a Position Statement, if "Christ" is the "God" referenced, or named). Exception is 1 John, where John uses "in" as Fellowship (Spirit empowering "Filling" Ministry, i.e., Galatians 5:16, Ephesians 5:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:19, Ephesians 4:30, etc.) For, John is saying that your spiritual life is comatose if you aren't Filled. He uses Greek word "μένω", a pregnant word in Greek literal which you should look up in a detailed lexicon of far greater strength than Strong's. You can prove the foregoing to yourself if you can search Greek text and find all the "ἐν" verses which (five-case system) use the dative (locative, in 8-case system). Clearly I can't accurately explain such a large doctrine in a footnote, and you should really have the pleasure of discovering it yourself.

  1. The objective of your life thus changes, to learning the Thinking of Christ, Bible Doctrine, under the Filling of the Holy Spirit. So to fulfill the objective of your being placed in Him at salvation: filling up your Divine Righteousness with His Thinking. Romans 8 covers this very topic, but its wordplay on filling and filling up, in English comes out hazy. So "Due Diligence" will further explain this Completion Goal. [Nerd Note: Yes, "7" is the number of perfection in Bible. Actually the term is telos, meaning completion, end. Ἁγιάζω means "sanctified", "set apart", so "saint" means a believer, not someone canonized by men's institutions. Πληρόω means to fill up, a major Bible keyword used in Romans 8 and all epistles. So also τελειόω, to complete, usually mistranslated (except in legal terms), "to perfect".]

#5 through #7 team up to form the structural function of your spiritual life, and all blessing and punishment is for training in this function, not for anything you yourself do. Good deeds count for nothing, before or after salvation; obviously, since when you think over what people expect as a result of their good deeds, you realize with horror that expectation about good deeds simply manifests hatred of God. To expect to get something for your good deeds is to say the only value of the good deed was your getting something for it, in which case the deed is no good, and thus God is no good. That's hatred talking. We never realize how the emphasis on doing for people is the strongest possible evidence of hatred for God. So too, hatred shows virulently via the alternate ideas of God, because we vote for good deeds, rituals, taboos, Ganesh or Allah or Buddha (who was never a god, just a guy) or whoever. We are voting for idols, then: not God. Obviously, we don't recognize we are doing this. We don't know we are expressing hatred, and we hate anyone saying we are. We hate anyone telling us our good deeds count for nothing; and we hate anyone telling us that only the God of the Bible, is the real God. So, see? It's a hatred motive.. Exposed. So think over and analyse carefully, and you'll see for yourself, that it's hatred which is expressed by good-deedism and alternate god-ideas.

Likewise, sins were paid for on the Cross, so now the only new 'sin' you can commit, is to not use your Divine Assets. [Sins were paid for in advance, so when you commit them in time, it's 'new' to you, but not to God. The cost of refusal was paid God, as well, but when the refusal is on, we aren't getting anything for that. Refusal is always on, for the unbeliever. On, when a believer is in a state of 1 John 1:8 or 1 John 1:10. Hence sin's meaning for the believer, is the refusal to use Divine assets, so the punishment is now a bazillion times higher. When you were just an unbeliever, you couldn't be punished for not learning Christ's Thinking; you couldn't be punished, therefore, due to not being Filled with the Spirit Who Deposits Christ's thinking into you (namely, Romans 5:5) via your right pastor. So now, the evil of refusal, is much higher. The loss, therefore, much greater, if you don't get in and stay in God's System. You were just a human being, before salvation: but now you are a Royal Priest, and are the conduit of blessing for at least 60 million other people, down here (search Lord vs. Satan on the "60 million" derivation). So for that reason also you are punished far more.

Bible keyword for anything outside God's System, whether good deeds or sin, is "ἀδικία", a Greek word you'll find at the end of 1 John 1:9, and in Colossians 3:25. The warning is succinctly stated in that latter verse. Term means "a" (not) "righteous." Because only God is Righteous, and you now have His Righteousness, to not live under the Righteous Holy Spirit's power, is a far worse unrighteousness, than when you were an unbeliever. God Does All The Work. To not use 1 John 1:9 and live in God's System means you refuse God His Own Work. Wow. Can't be a worse 'sin', than that.

Alternatively, when you are in God's System and learning in it, you are blessed far more: 60 million times worth, at very least. In the Old Testament, the entire earth got 490 more years of life due to believers who grew up in God's (smaller-design) system for that time: over and over again, per each such believer. Which is why the earth even continued until the Birth of Christ. Some of the 490's, just extended time; extra 490's were used to increase the quality of time, like providing for the freedom of the Jews in 1440 BC, to build the temple 490 years later in 950 BC. Those were prosperous times. 490 years after that, Israel wasn't producing mature believers much, so only one more 490, just as God told Daniel in Daniel 9:24-27, to extend until the death of Christ in 30 AD. Then He, for all time, owns even time itself: and we are in Him. That leaves only 7 more years of time, preceding His Accomplishment on the Cross. Between His Death and that 7 years, we Church are thus inserted. Ergo, since God trains us down here on earth, the earth continues, and the potential time and quality of time He grants, is thus far higher.

To see the importance of your spiritual life, you have to decide which method of disclosure, most 'hits' you. The webpages here each use some metaphorical base to communicate that importance, for I wanted to see the importance from many 'angles'. It's a kind of due diligence: if you approach a subject from many angles and they all come up with the same answer on value, then you have the right value. So choose among the sites, what most resonates with your own sense of valuation. For most people, hard numbers which balance, hits home. So, the 490 year analogy, is used here. The 490 analogy isn't the most important way to see the extreme value of the spiritual life, but it might just be the one which makes the reality of that importance, hit home for you; then the other ways help you orient to what you come to (shockingly) know, is true.

So on the 490 years derivation, see: "A Question of .. Time?" link, Mirroring.htm, and its internal link of the "Timeline Worksheet". That study will take you some weeks, but suffice it here to say that the Bible heroes of the past were used like hubs of 490-year blessings based on their births, their arrival at maturity, their deaths, or other key events in their own lives. These 490-year blessings radiated out, as it were, to those related to them, and to the world as a whole. God's data about how old a person was, the begats, etc. All fit together to show you how these 490 blessing years, work. You can prove this fact with historical dates, once you know what historical dates are the right ones: track everything backwards and forwards based on the Exodus date of 1440 BC, so you won't waste time (people misdate the Exodus, and for no good reason). Bible uses Exodus date as the beginning of Israel as a nation: so you have to get that date right. You won't be able to see the 490s if you don't calculate as pre and post-Exodus, which is the dating system God uses. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, so all the numerical information he gives, uses Exodus date like we would use the beginning of 1 AD. If you go backward from Exodus date of 1440 BC, you'll get every pre-Exodus Bible date to match the historical circumstances, namely, you can prove even from Encyclopedia Britannica who were the Pharaohs who got Joseph as a vizier; who was the Pharaoh of the Exodus, etc. Then you won't make the mistake everyone else makes, dating events up to two centuries later or earlier than they actually occurred. Oh: and you need to know that Adam's days didn't get numbered until after he fell, so when dating Adam, the 930 years start from his fall, not his date of creation (the latter date is never given in Bible, nor is the date of the earth's initial creation in Genesis 1:1, given in Bible).

What's so phenomenal, you can do the 490 tracing based on different sources, and even different dates, yet see them all converge on the Temple, and on Christ. For example, when my pastor traces the 490 in Daniel, he uses lunar years, then corrects out the Gregorian calendar errors to go from 1006 BC (David's Hebron Kingship start) to the dedication of the Second Temple (516 BC), to Christ's death in 30 AD. I use a slightly different approach, in the above webpages, but get the same answer. So this is a really worthwhile study to help realize that even brushing your teeth while thinking Bible Doctrine, is of enormous value to the world. So how much more, to God? Caution: scholarship on dates is sometimes brilliant, but also, has big gaffes you can prove. Exodus and certain other key dates (like when Abram was born) will unlock how you calculate the others, but the scholarship on those dates is appallingly incompetent; worse, the Jewish calendar is badly messed up; more worse, people use the Jewish calendar, which is lunar, as if it were calendar, so they mess up the dates even more. See Case Study in Flawed Dating of Exodus on that topic. Use Bible to vet 'scholarship' dates, always.

Please take this #7 seriously. Study its claims, preferably under your own pastor. Because you couldn't be facing a more dramatic life and future. Your choice.

Salvation Components

"Salvation Components" has an explanation below its chart, to familiarize you with the Bible vocabulary of your salvation — for the Bible is a contract. You believe, God does all the work. Belief has no merit. What merit can come from a moldy body, anyway? Not to worry. You were not born the first time in order to stay that way. You were born to be made like the Son of God, John 10:34. By contract: Isaiah 53:10-12. What happened to Him, is to happen to you.

For why should Omnipotent God, tolerate lesser-thans? Why should you settle for being a lesser-than, when that is not your destiny in Christ? See: His Goal is to put us up, which is why He puts up with us down here. We are His Children. We can grow up in Him. Our Choice.

Everyone knows that to be "saved" (go to Heaven after you die), one must believe Christ paid for all one's sins (i.e., Acts 16:31). Yet there is much confusion over how salvation is constructed. Briefly, salvation is constructed based on an eternity-past love contract among the Members of the Trinity. To Express Their Love For Each Other. We are the happy beneficiaries of that Love, and therefore all we need 'do' is consent. Beneficiaries cannot ever be forced to receive an inheritance, which Salvation essentially is. So the Beneficiary must have the right to reject the contract. So, if you never believe in the Payor of the Contract, Jesus the Christ, then you have rejected your inheritance and won't get it. He paid for your sins, and that payment is reserved to be spent on you to make you compatible with God, so you can live with Him forever. You accept it by 'doing' Acts 16:31: believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and in that instant you are forever saved. (That's a corrected translation of the Greek tenses, versus English Bibles.) But you can refuse it. So to refuse it, don't ever 'do' that verse, nor any others like it (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Ephesians 1:13, Romans 10:9, Galatians 2:16, etc).

Warning: if you ever had 'done' any of those verses — AKA, if you ever had even once believed in Christ paying for your sins even as a child, you are already saved and can never lose Salvation. So rejection now does you no good. You will go to heaven forever when you die: it's not cancellable, owing to the fact you acquired God's Own Immutable Attributes of Righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) and Eternal Life (John 3:16) in that first nanosecond when you had believed. So for you, this page has an educational value. You might also want to read Lord vs. Satan Part 3 to become acquainted with your inheritance, for you still can reject getting some things. But you cannot lose salvation. A permanent change in your nature occurred (hence the overused but true moniker, "born from above"). It.

Most refuse. Not a good choice, for then you've refused a Perfect Gift from a Perfect God. So you go to hell for that. No middle Ground. It's not about sin, but about rejecting the Gift: John 16:9. As far as I can tell from Bible, you can still change your mind even in hell — but everyone there is too addicted to hating, to want to change his mind, Luke 16:20ff. So if you reject down here, you'll be too addicted to rejection. For it's pretty evil to reject the God Who made your soul at birth, Genesis 2:7. So that evil is addictive. So it's not about sin, but about the addiction to rejection.

The contract itself is in Isaiah 53:10-12. The full amalgamated translation is in the Lord vs. Satan.

If you are an unbeliever reading this page, just believe Christ paid for all your sins. That makes you "saved" permanently. Being thus saved, if you use 1 John 1:9 (name any known sins in the life), you will be able to learn God: i.e., how your so-great salvation actually was accomplished. That's the method by which the Holy Spirit thus enables any believer to understand spiritual information. (Goofy Christians are goofy because they don't use 1 John 1:9 and 2 Peter 3:18.)

Please note: what follows is not in chronological order, but the logical order of the Plan of Salvation (which was later executed in time). This chart is but one way to parse the principal components of salvation, and is not all-inclusive, nor are all the applicable verses referenced. It is only provided to help people get a better sense of the Bible's technical terms (like Atonement, Expiation, Propitiation, Reconciliation, Redemption, etc).; The chart focuses on Which Agent does the Work. The explanation below the chart is surprisingly good, and covers terms the Bible itself uses to communicate the components.

Why do people become confused about what salvation means? God's Love is not like human love; human love you can lose. God's Love you cannot lose. God loves the people in hell, and even Satan, just as much as He loves Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Himself. For Absolute Love never varies based on the object. Only Justice varies with the object, since we are all different, and Justice must insure Consistent, Competent fairness. A thing is only fair if matched to the justice requirements and needs of the object. So only God can truly be fair, since only God can know enough to be Fair. Omniscience insures He knows Everything, so no incompetence is possible.

Almost every time you see the word "love" in the Bible, it's mistranslated. Should read "Divine Love", not merely Love. God's Love is Absolute, so is not emotional. Not changeable. Love loves to be competent, and hence always operates within justice. Folks are extremely uncomfortable with the idea that God has to execute Justice. They don't understand that His Love means absolutely nothing, if He can't be Perfectly Righteous. What seems like cold-Judge thinking is in fact the Absoluteness of Love. Your flaws don't dent God's Love. Your attractive qualities don't influence His Love for you either. So you cannot ever lose His Love. But if you reject His Love, Justice requires you receive different judicial treatment. But the Love is still there. God's Head Sovereign Integrity is His Love. Virtue is the backbone of Love, and Righteousness/Justice is the attitude of Virtue, and Love loves Virtue because Virtue is Competent. God is all one, here: His Attributes aren't divided. So Justice is Love, too. Absolutely.

So, the Bible's own vocabulary is legal: very precisely defined. As you read, notice how love is in fact the result. What greater way to express Love, than via legal commitments? So: let's review what the principal Bible terms mean. Use 1 John 1:9 now, or else stop reading, for you will understand nothing apart from naming any known sins to God. Here goes...

"Atonement" in the Bible only has a toward-God meaning. In the Old Testament, the Ark was a symbol of the future Christ being the "Atonement" for sin: Yom Kippur, which means "Day of Atonement", is the annual Jewish holiday celebrated then and now to reference this fact. To "atone" means to pay a penalty for sin committed. The person to whom this penalty must be paid is the person who was wronged: here, God. To pay the penalty, one must pay for more than just the cost of the damage, but also the cost of the restoration of the object (here, man), and also (very important), the cost of what 'best-use' (i.e., "seven-fold") the recipient could have received from the object were it not damaged. What the recipient does with that payment is solely up to the recipient. It is usually up to the recipient to say what is sufficient payment. Thus this Biblical definition has been a long-standing principle of Jewish law, and is behind most of the laws on restitution/reparation in many cultures.

"Atonement" is wholly substitutionary: It never depicts a way to obtain something at a lower price, or a co-payment. It was depicted by the animal sacrifices in the Old Testament. That's why animals' lives were sacrificed, showing the totality of the cost. The "Lamb of God" title for the Lord's Humanity carries that concept forward in the New Testament. Unlike the neighboring countries' practice of sacrifice, in the Mosaic Law, the guilty party placed his hand on the animal, while the Levitical priest cut its throat (this cut off pain for the animal as well), and as the animal bled to death, Christ was depicted as the Substitute-to-come being imputed with (hand-on-animal=impuation), judged for (cutting-throat), and paying for the penalty of, that sin (death-of-animal depicted His Substitutionary spiritual death on Cross).

"Propitiation" is the satisfaction of the aggrieved party , owing to the receipt of the atoning payment: here, God the Father. The Mercy Seat (top of the Ark) was often called "propitiation", depicted by the two gold angels who faced each other: one represented Righteousness, and the other Justice (of the Father) looking "down" on the Ark (whose gold represented Christ's Diety, and whose acacia wood represented His future Humanity), and being satisfied. The contents of the Ark represented "sin" (Aaron's rod that budded; the broken 1st set of Law Tablets; and a jar of some manna — about which, Israel habitually complained). In the New Testament, the word "hilasterion" means "propitiation". It is (strangely) not always translated in English Bibles as "propitiation", but is the same word as the LXX uses for the Mercy Seat in the Old Testament. The Ark of the Covenant was central to all Jewish law on sacrifice, and the basis for it. Hence, the title, "Ark of the Covenant". Every covenant must have a sacrifice to justify it, as Hebrews 9:16ff explains. (That passage is a summary of what was understood in the Old Testament, as the Levitical sacrifices attest.)

"Expiation", by contrast, is the result of atonement: the person guilty is deemed to have expiated (satisfied) the restitution/penalty/reparation due. It is a judicial term, just as "Atonement" is, but is the judicial status of the person guilty after "Atonement" has been accomplished. So "expiation" is both a result of "Atonement", and "Propitiation".it is merely A judicial status. So, in our case, our damaged condition remains (total depravity, unsaved, still in Adam, still subject to physical death, still separated from God, etc). But we are no longer held guilty for the damage. This fact is critical: it explains why no one goes to Hell for sins. (If you look up the "Great White Throne Judgement" in Revelation, you'll notice people there are judged for their works..not for their sins. ["Works", when not qualified by an adjective or adjectival phrase (or syntactical sarcasm), means "good deeds", in the Bible.]

"Reconciliation" is another legal term in the Bible, and it means "come to peace terms" (war/conflict between the parties is resolved). So, many English Bibles use the word "peace" to translate it, like in Isaiah 53. Even so, don't forget the legal meaning, "Reconciliation". The very word means voluntary consent by the parties in the reconciliation. Absent consent, there is no reconciliation, irrespective of any payment issues. Why? Because the agreement means a relationship is being created or healed. All relationships have legal ramifications. This one, most of all.

Reconciliation restores or creates a peaceable relationship between two parties in a dispute/war. Obviously, if the accused party feels he is not at fault, he will not agree to any reconciliation. So, the "war" (or separation) status remains between them, even if some third party had made sufficient payment to the injured party, such that the injured party seeks reconciliation with the accused. The legal point is, until the accused consents, no reconciliation exists. With or without any payment being made on his behalf.

Again, you'll find many versions of this ancient Biblical legal principle of reconciliation in virtually every culture. War reparations. Damages. Divorce settlements. Dowries. All of these are financial or juridical ways of reconciling the parties, and all of them depend on consent. The common concept of "bail", even, which is a mere surety (which the accused can refuse), is a 'child' of the reconciliation principle. So-called "class action" lawsuits also have the same requirement — after the suit is settled, those in the suit must individually consent to receive their portion of the settlement. So, if they do not, they still are able to "war" with the other party in the suit. Even more commonly, the concept of inheritance: the recipient must consent to receive any bequest or other testamentary property, for it to be received. Until then, the testamentary property remains escrowed or otherwise separated from the recipient for whom it was intended. No one can force the recipient to take it. The recipient must be "reconciled" to the settlement, see. Until then, the issue between the recipient and the other legal party is unresolved, and a status of separation/war exists between them.

So, regarding salvation, the issue is, do you, the accused, agree to be reconciled to God? (i.e., 2 Corinthians 5:20b) Yet also, in a happier way: do you, a potential heir, agree to be reconciled to your inheritance settlement in Christ? (Hebrews 9) Either way you want to look at it, "Reconciliation" means you agree to Christ paying on your behalf. Your one-time consent is required, for "peace" to exist between God, and you. That's the only way you can get the Salvation Deposit, as it were, which Christ made on your behalf, about 2000 years ago. Reconciliation is a prerequisite for any of the funds to be used toward the restoration of our damage. Because we had no role in atonement, propitiation, or expiation: it was all done apart from our consent. Further, the damage still exists; all that has happened is that we can be justifiably reconciled to God. However, at this point, our consent is required , because we are in a state of voluntary hostility to God, so long as we do not believe in His Son. Faith in Christ means the person agrees to the "terms of peace". ("TULIPS?" explains this issue in more detail.) The party, us, who is hostile, at war, is obviously completely absent merit.

Agreement profits us, not God. God has already been paid. We pay nothing, nor can we..that was why Atonement (etc.) was needed for us in the first place. It's merely a question of whether we admit defeat. If we don't, then we cannot be credited with the funds on deposit, as it were, since we don't accept the substitutionary payment on our behalf (in the United States, this is akin to "electing against the will" in estate law). So, if we reject these peace terms, we must then come up with our own atonements: the Great White Throne Judgment reveals that all our "works" are not enough to compare with His Payment on the Cross, and that is why we go to Hell: "concerning sin, because they have never believed in Me" (John 16:9). Note: "never" is a better translation of the Greek "οὐκ" with the indicative mood of the verb, since "οὐκ" is far more emphatic than the English "not". If you shouted "not!" in English, you could maybe translate "οὐκ" as "not" — but "never" conveys the same idea as the shouted English "not!" 1 Peter 1:8 has a similar construction, as do many other passages. The Greek word "me" (pronounced "may") has a meaning akin to the weaker, English "not": Peter makes clever use of that fact, in 1 Peter 1:8. Good interpretation of that verse depends on knowing the difference between these two negative Greek particles. Peter uses both of them to stress how he found the believers' faith amazing, despite their never having seen Him. Clearly implicit in that statement, because 'οὐκ' is used, is Peter's self-examination — for Peter had seen Him. Peter uses the second, weaker "not" to implicitly stress how they will see Him... forever.

"Redemption" in the Bible is used to free something or someone from enslavement or other commitment/bondage. "Ransom" refers to the payment itself, and "redemption" refers to the result of the ransom's efficacious payment. For example, in the Old Testament, a person could "redeem" a first-born animal or person from the various dedication-laws otherwise applicable, via "ransom" payment (AKA "redemption price"). The recipient thus received the value for the animal/person, so the animal/person was freed (or free to return to its prior owner). So, in our case, the "ransom" is owed God the Father, who is the Head of the Godhead, so He has the first rights. Christ paid our redemption price. (See "redemption", "redeem", and "ransom" verses: 1 Timothy 2:3-6 shows this ransom was paid for all mankind. By the way, "all" in the Greek plural, when it stands alone, means "all without exception": as usual, English translations chop off so much of the Greek meaning, the reader is left confused.) No one who is unreconciled can receive the previously-paid benefit of redemption, for (as we saw above), no one is acceptably-reconciled without his consent.

Redemption is an agreement between God the Father and Christ, not between God and man, because Christ, not man, is the Sole Redeemer. This contract is recorded in Isaiah 53:10-12. It is because this Agreement is between them that you cannot ever lose your salvation, once you've believed in Christ. A greater, more Absolute Guarantee cannot exist, than when you get something based on someone else's consent. Staggeringly Beautiful, Absolute Love, Romans 5:8. Because Redemption is an agreement between God the Father and Christ, those are the parties to the Agreement. Man is not a party to the Agreement, so cannot claim any rights in it. It is God the Father's Sovereign right to extend the offer to man to believe in His Son, and it is the Godhead who unilaterally effectuate the redemption. This condition is not man's choice, but God's choice. Thus you know why God had to "elect" in eternity-past, else no one could be saved.

Why this Agreement? Legally speaking, Holy God is juridically due payment for this Redemption (see "Atonement", in the table above), and Christ's Humanity paid all that God the Father demanded. God the Father retains the right to do as He wishes. Since He is "not willing any should perish", we know He wishes "all men to come to a knowledge of the truth". Even so, man's agreement (faith in Christ) has no power, nor legal standing to force/contribute/claim redemption rights. Only the redeemer has legal standing, as has always been true under the Mosaic Law. So, God the Father set the redemption conditions with and in Christ, the "First-Born of all creation", "that whosoever shall believe in Him shall never perish, but have eternal life". These Bible phrases and many like them all show how God alone does the work, in His Son (This permanent-salvation Election in the Son, by the Father in eternity-past, is overlooked in some Christian religions, but should not be.)

"Regeneration" means to be reborn. Taken from John 3's "born from above" phrase; although it should always be "born from above" (i.e. referencing all three members of the Godhead — that's what the "above" means), rather than "again", for, this is your first (and last!) spiritual birth and not your second. We are all born spiritually dead to God at birth due to Adam's fall. Notice in John 3: one must first believe in order to be born from above. (Some religions get these two steps backwards.) "Faith in Christ" is that nonmeritorious consent of human volition to Christ's substitutionary payment... agreement to receive reconciliation. There is zero juridical standing or merit in man's consent, since he is a Beneficiary, not a Contract Party. (Some religions mistakenly believe man can/would/does "contribute" something to God if or because his consent is required, because they misidentify the juridical standing and don't know Isaiah 53:10-12, which the New Testament frequently references).

Hence the requirement one first believe to be reborn, since the legal standing as Beneficiary is in Christ; hence the requirement to first believe in Christ; one thereby receives the spiritual assets. These assets begin with spiritual birth, Titus 3:5.

Regeneration is the actual application of the salvation funds in Christ to the person (per Isaiah 53:12's Hebrew) , making him "a new spiritual species (creature)" (2 Corinthians 5:17 and other passages). The characteristics of the new creature made by God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are permanent. That is why salvation cannot be lost. Technically, the person is owned by Christ (again, Isaiah 53:12), so the delivery of salvation is treated as for Christ; again, since the Redemption Contract was based on Him, not on us. So it never compromises Justice that we receive this so-great salvation. It's legally done to and for and through Him.

"Sealing" is a testimony by the Holy Spirit to the foregoing facts; as you saw in the chart, Sealing is a Signature Guarantee of Ownership. You are Owned. So you are free from whatever your life was, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Further, all Members of the Trinity Indwell each believer, and, moreover, the Holy Spirit fills the believer when 1 John 1:9 is used (i.e., the believer is between sins). There are actually 40 things (maybe even more) mentioned in the Bible which occur at salvation, for those in the Church Age. (Many of these things, like the permanence of salvation, are true in all epochs of history).

Hopefully, you have gained enough understanding from the above explanation to at least turn over the concepts in your soul and see their "fit". You can easily verify that the descriptions above are accurate, by consulting a rabbi or a pastor regarding the Old Testament's definitions. You could probably review the words in the Bible yourself (especially, if you use 1 John 1:9 repeatedly), and see how these concepts do fit together.

False doctrines almost always come from misunderstanding and mistranslation. For example, one idea which resurfaces from time to time in history is the idea that somehow Satan got paid by Christ's work on the Cross. Of course, since Satan himself sinned against God, obviously no payment for sins is due him — sin is an offense against Righteousness, and juridically is due Righteousness. God, not Satan, then, should be paid. That's what the animal sacrifices depicted — the future Atonement for Sin. Not anything else. The point is central to all Scripture, both Old Testament and New Testament, not to mention the foundation of all justice concepts in every society. The amalgamated Isaiah 53:11 contract puts the core clause this way, and repeats the clause twice in verse 12: "if you will give Your Soul as a Substitute for sin". The speaker in the verse, is Father (antiphony), and the Hearer is Son. Son fulfills contract, which is affirmed in verse 12.

The LXX of verse 11 contains Greek-exclusive transformatives that the New Testament authors frequently reference, which is a series of five chained infinitives explaining what Father will ordain and Spirit will do in Him to Him for Him, and through Him for "the many", shorthand for those who are the Beneficiaries (believers from Genesis through Revelation), which amounts to a five-processed 'cloning' of Christ's 'soul' into us. For the sake of total Rapport, Compatibility. Compatibility is a soul function, requiring like-mindedness. That compatibility goal is the reason why we don't die as soon as we are saved; for we have The Book of His Thinking, to learn. A 24/7 issue of consent, post-salvation. Those who "fully" grow up in His Thinking per the clauses in Ephesians 3:15-19 and Ephesians 4:11-16 (especially Ephesians 3:19 and Ephesians 4:13, the goal) will be kings with Him in the Millennium and eternity. So salvation is but a floor, 1 Corinthians 3. Atop it is learning His Thinking. "Thinking" series is dedicated to this topic, fleshing it out. Very long.

The fact that Satan rules this world and 'loses' us when we are saved is merely the fact that God legally recaptures His Own Property: what Satan legally stole via Adam. Think of corporate proxy fights, and you'll see how "legally stole" is neither an oxymoron nor is it due recompense, if legal recapture takes place: in fact, the Angelic Conflict is a type of proxy fight — do we want God, or Satan? Salvation is a result of total payment for sin. The entire Bible is meaningless (or, a collection of witty aphorisms), else. More properly, a civil war occurred which occasioned man's creation, and the world was the "booty"; but per Trial terms those who begin in Satan's kingdom have the right to believe in Christ, since the Trial issue is who rules man the better.

Another common misconception is that God, Who needs nothing, doesn't need to be paid for sins, either. All faiths but (most of) Christianity are actually founded on this chopped-off idea. This idea is chopped off, because while it does recognize God's total Independence, it doesn't recognize the justice of paying one owed something. Doesn't matter if the one owed doesn't need the payment. The heart of Justice is this: so-and-so did something wrong, and must pay a price which is equivalent to the value of the wrong done plus the opportunity loss for what the rightful owner could have had from the property. The wrong done is the criterion, and no other factor, i.e., how 'rich' the one wronged might be, is allowed relevance. Obviously, if God, Who is Omnipotent, can't insure Justice be done to Himself, then His Love is unreliable — even, hellish. For, such a 'god' would be either incompetent, or a masochist — or both. That is why only the Christ accounts for a Perfect God. All other versions of 'god' incompletely account for the Justice Due Perfect God: He should be perfectly paid for any offenses He 'sees' at His Own Level.

A third common misconception is that somehow what Christ paid can be nullified or is otherwise incomplete. Many Christian sects make Christ's payment sound like a way to get salvation at a discount price: as if He did some of the paying, and man pays some. Or variantly, as if He did all the paying but man can forfeit salvation under certain conditions (some heinous sin, or lack of repentance). Yet another variation: if the observed behavior in person "A" doesn't meet the observer's standards, or if "A" doesn't think he is a Christian, the observer considers the person to never-have-believed.

This third class of misconceptions fails to grasp the nature of Atonement, time, volition, and belief.

In short, the more you understand the meaning of these terms, the more you are shielded from mistaken conceptions regarding our so-great salvation. Better still, the more you can come to see God's Own Nature, directly — and there is no greater joy in life, than seeing Him. It takes time to assimilate this material, but it's worth it! (I've been working on how to succinctly describe these components since 1987, so I can attest to the value of "grasping the idea", as Paul puts it in Ephesians 3.) May you prosper in Him as you review these ideas!

The Pure Genius of Salvation

The Simple Gospel You might not know from listening to some Christians

Were I an unbeliever listening to Christians today, I'd be extremely confused. It always sounds like I gotta be good, and do something to get this goofy Christian God to let me into Heaven. It always sounds like I can do something dreadful, and lose whatever "salvation" is said to mean. Or, it sounds like some kind of magic, and I 'get away with' something, if I 'merely' believe! But if I look anywhere else — to any other faith or holy book — I find a disturbing thing: God never gets paid for sin, or for the shortfall of having to see puny finity forever. So if there really is a God, then He must be paid for that. So any faith or holy book which doesn't show how God gets paid, can't be valid. Truth doesn't contradict itself: all faiths cannot be alike, all roads cannot lead to heaven, since if God, then He Must Get Paid — or He's not even just to Himself, so how can He be just to me?

So let's now examine this unique, nothing-like-it-in-the-world claim of God being paid for sin.. And what that means about how-i-get-to-heaven. God being paid, never mind whether the puny human suffers any consequences. For only if God gets paid, can there even be a heaven. [Logically, any other afterlife proposal is just a continuation of life on a lower level with other creatures who aren't God, i.e., paradise, reincarnation, etc., so wouldn't be "salvation" from the puny imperfections, but rather a continuation of them in other formats. But to qualify as "heaven" with "God", then — infinite perfection has to be satisfied. Hence the need for God, never mind anyone else, to be paid for it.]

The Bible is not a goofy Christian, of course. God is not people. We goofy Christians are goofy because we are "born from above": we are babies, all over again, spiritually. So, until we grow up spiritually, when we read the Bible, we come up with babyish ideas about what the Bible says. And thus confuse good folks like you about what ya gotta do to get saved...

So, what does the real Bible say one needs to "do", to get "saved" (go to Heaven when you die)? Simple: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and in that moment you are forever saved-to-God!" That's a verse named Acts 16:31. I've quoted it from the original Bible's Greek, and capped words translate its verbs idiomatically into English (so the meaning in English is closest to the Greek's meaning). So: If it makes you feel more official, try telling God the Father (or thinking toward Him) that you believe in Christ. He'll "hear" your belief in Christ, whether you officially tell Him, or not. He's always listening to your thoughts.

Belief-in-Christ is all you ever need to "do" to get "saved", and it's not magic. Because, God is Infinite, but we are not. So, think: what else can one do? If God doesn't solve the problem of us being so small, so unappealing to infinite Righteousness, what could anyone else do? So, obviously: it doesn't matter what your religion is, it doesn't matter at all, ever what your sins are/were/will be, it doesn't matter how handicapped you are, how bad or good you are. See — God is Infinite, so only Infinite Good is enough. We can never be infinite, so whatever we do can't "pay" for any wrongs. Not even the wrongs we do to ourselves — because we can't turn back Time. Think: would God make you, then throw you away? Of course not. Think: would God allow some poor baby or handicapped person to be denied salvation? Of course not. God is Perfect. So, a Perfect salvation must be accomplished by God — we just consent, that's all.

You might be tempted to think, "Oh, that's too easy!" Guess again. This is the hardest decision you will ever make. Everything goes 'against' it. So, don't belittle the gift which even the most handicapped person can "do", on the grounds that one does nothing.

Think this fact over: "doing nothing" is the hardest thing in life. Imagine you are an invalid, unable to do anything. Oh, the horror of paralysis! Or: imagine you must sit in an unfurnished room, with only a chair, no computer, TV, music, or even windows. (In Russia, a like method was used to drive people insane within 40 days.) Why is "doing nothing" so difficult? "Doing nothing" is a threat to the body's need to keep moving, and a congenital threat to one's need for self-esteem. Yet, "doing nothing" is what one must admit, to consent to believe in Christ, Who did everything by doing nothing. What?????! See? It's the very hardest thing to 'do', to 'merely' believe in Christ!

Yep, that's precisely how Jesus "the Christ" (AKA "Savior","Anointed One") accomplished payment for all sins on the Cross: He did nothing. Remember, He was Nailed To A Cross, so could barely even move. What could He do??? So, He was like a lamb, allowing Infinite Righteousness of God the Father to lacerate Him (like javelin-stabs, says Isaiah53), imputing all sins in all history to Jesus' Body; and then, to judge every sin imputed. As if Jesus were guilty, instead of us. That's why it says, in another Bible verse (2 Corinthians 5:21), "He [Father] made Him [Jesus] Who knew no sin, sin! As a Substitute for us, so that we become the Righteousness of God in Him[Jesus]." (That's a corrected translation from the real Bible's Greek.)

What does this mean? Well, here's an experiment you can try on yourself, to get a hands-on idea of what it meant to be on the Cross. First, though, make sure you are alone, and in a reasonably stable frame of mind, for this experiment will hurt. Ready? Remember thoughts which struck you and hurt when they hit. Each of us is more hurt by the idea of some thoughts, than others. Mentally-ill people are mentally-ill because they are constantly hit with torturous thoughts. So, for some, a past memory of being yelled at is so painful, they shove it in their subconscious. Or, some guilt idea. Or, some hateful thought. Or.. Well, you get the idea. If you practice recalling thoughts which hurt you to recall, and you keep it up, you will become very upset. Because, It's The Thought That Counts: real pain or pleasure or joy or desolation is What You Think.

So, then: imagine Christ being hit over and over and over with every hurtful thought which was ever or will ever be in the mind of man, only Christ doesn't get upset, He doesn't react; instead, He embraces every thought and 'replies' to it with some truth he knows which is so good, the 'reply' literally Atones For, Propitiates, Justifies, the hurtful thoughts repeatedly lacerating His Soul! What thoughts can propitiate, satisfy, make one even want such pain? Look: Oh, Wonderful Father! Thank You For Stabbing Me With These Horrible Thoughts, And With Your Own Thoughts Toward Them AlL. Gratitude: for, Father is loved so much, that even getting Bad from Father is an outlet for Jesus' unending Gratitude. See? He isn't doing anything at all; not reciprocating the pain, not lashing out, not accusing Father for giving Him the Worst Kind Of Pain: man's ugly thoughts. All of them. At Once.

God the Father exchanges our sins for Christ's thoughts on the Cross, and as a result of the extreme Beauty of His Thinking on the Cross, we are "become the Righteousness of God in Him." That quote's from another verse, 2 Corinthians 5:21. See? It's a Real Purchase. For, it's only the thought that counts: His.

See? By doing nothing, Christ received the penalty for sins you and I should have gotten. So, we don't owe anything. So, there's nothing for us to do. It was already done, about 2000 years ago. Therefore, as it says in another Bible verse (corrected translation from Greek), "There is no other Person.. Given to men by whose agency we must be saved." That's Acts 4:12: in the Greek, "must" is an impersonal verb of obligation. In short, a Contract. This Contract is not visible in Bible translation, but is in the Bible: Isaiah 53:10-11. It completely explains how sins were to be paid — by Thinking, and then provides what happens to those whose sins got paid for — salvation. The contract was made in eternity past: apart from your consent. So you don't get the benefit of salvation, unless you consent. Hence you need to believe in Christ — the One Whose Thinking paid for sins — to be saved. See? It's a simple contract promise, from your 'end'. Nothing to be done: just believe in Christ, and at that very moment you are eternally saved.

Let's look at that Acts 4:12 verse again: "There is no other person under heaven given to men by whose agency we must be saved" — no other person. No other person. Are you a person? Then, are you Christ? No? Then Nothing You Do Is Given To Help Your Salvation, get it? Because, He is the Truth (John 14:6): Truth needs no additions, no 'help'. You don't need to 'do' anything to Truth. It just is: total, complete, entire. Of Itself. Defense rests. And so can you. [Greek grammar note: when a sentence has a passive-voice verb and a by-means-of case in which the 'means' is a person, it's solely by agency of that person that the verb is accomplished. You learn this in first or second-year Biblical Greek. Yet most translators forget this rule, so mistranslate verses like Acts 4:12. Many Bible verses are similarly structured, and similarly mistranslated. Folks who think you gotta do something to get to Heaven don't know the Greek, and thus use mistranslations to justify their claims. So be careful to test for sense what someone tells you the Bible says: do homework in the original languages, if you can.]

Look: if you throw a ball up into the air, it goes up, then comes down. You threw the ball, but you were given power to throw it — but not power to make it work the way it does. So also, with getting saved. You have the power to say yes, or no. That's like throwing a ball. But the ball itself, and what happens to it after that throw — you have no power over it. You just use the option of throwing. You just use The Option To Say Yes To What Was Accomplished In Christ, on your behalf. For, He Himself merely used His Own Option to keep saying yes while imputed and judged with all sins in history. He didn't have to do anything to accomplish your salvation in Himself: because, He just is the Truth. Like gravity on a ball: needing no other 'help', Truth always works, intrinsically. Unassailably!

Poetic, huh? Here is the only way everyone can get saved, no matter how high or low, no matter what linguistic or social barrier — and, simultaneously — it's the hardest of all things, to believe in Christ. 'Goes against the constant urge to "do" something. So it's not 'too easy'. After all, the One Who purchased your very ability to consent, was Christ. And that purchase cost Him everything. He gifted you gladly, because His love for you is total, and that love will never change.

It's not magic, either. See, God is Infinitely Perfect, and Alive. So, Omnipotent. So, if God Himself were ever to sin, what would happen? Could anything be done to restore God to His pre-sin state? No. So also, for us: no works we do, no repentance or crying or sacrificing — nothing can be done to restore us to a pre-sin state, because the problem of sin is in us, in our very genes. For, even one teeny sin has the effect of mold which completely infects a slice of bread: what 'work' can you do to fix the bread? Nothing. So, if God sinned, He'd have become irrevocably moldy. If we sin, we are completely moldy. Difference is, we are not Infinite, we do not have God's Own Life, so we can be saved: upon faith in Him we get His Righteousness in exchange for all the sins we'll ever sin. (2 Corinthians 5:21, quoted above.) And also, God's Own Infinite Eternal Life. So, We Can Be Saved. Which happens the very second we first believe in Christ. Because, God Obligated Himself To This Promise, as we just saw, in Acts 4:12. So, God will never sin, so God Saves Everyone Who Believes. Forever. Just as Jesus told us, in John 10:28: I give them Eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand."

He should know: for Jesus is God ("the Son"), too, and always was. See? "God" is a collective noun describing the Essence of Three Infinite Persons, each Identical in Nature, and of course, thus Co-Equal in nature. One, we know as "Father": think of Him as the Chairman of the Board, if that helps. One, we know as "Son": think of Him as the Chief Executive Officer. One, we know as "the Spirit": think of Him as the Chief Operating Officer. Note well: They Are Equal, but do not choose to have Equal Authority. Why? Because These Three Love Each Other So Much. They Love Each Other so much, and us as a consequence, that we are granted the offer of Living In Fellowship With Them Forever: John 3:16 and Roman 8:28-38's Attic Greek dramatically affirm these facts.

See, if you really love someone, you want to share everything bad with that person, not merely everything good. In fact, you need the bad to balance to the enjoyment! You come to ache for something costing you, to balance to the extreme joy of the relationship. Surely every love story ever written explains this natural law of love. So how much more, the Supernatural Law of Love, God's Own Attribute of Love? Christ, being First God, would Love more than anything else to 'go low' to pour out His Gratitude to Father: so, He did. He added Humanity to His Godness, and went through the Cross. See? Balance of 'weights' between the High Love enjoyment, and the High Love need to pour out. That's Integrity.

By contrast, if you really hate someone, you want to be as far away from them as possible. So, even if you are in the same room with that person, your "fellowship" is miles away. For, unlike love, unlike Integrity, rapport does not exist where hatred is present. So, while God is Omnipresent, it doesn't mean that you are in fellowship with Him. You can be in the same room with another person yet due to differences between you, be (as it were) miles away.

God is "near" (Bible term), not distant. It's we who are distant, bogged down with our many choking wants and needs, somehow (irrationally) afraid of God; just like Adam was, right after he ate that fruit. So, to get that Fellowship, we'd need to have Infinite Righteousness and Eternal life. That's why sins would first have to be paid for. Because, God is not magic, and the truth is, sin causes damage. Which damage must be judicially compensated; and then those damaged by sin, must be made whole. Which restoral, since there is no magic, we couldn't do! (Every other idea about God you'll ever hear is based on some kind of magical thing man allegedly can do to appease 'god': but Bible's God is not magic, and there is no appeasing. How can a sin-tainted person ever be perfect again, no matter what he does? Think it over.)

It's not magic how we get that Infinite Righteousness and Eternal Life, either. Infinity is neither mass nor energy, so it replicates without loss, similar to the way thought does. You read this page, and the thoughts in it, are now in you, yet still on the page. That's not magic, that's simply the property of thought, provable anytime, anywhere. [If you know something about fractals, you'll better understand why infinity can replicate yet not be diminished. If not, don't worry, you can learn in some different way: the Holy Spirit will eventually teach you.] So too, with the property of Infinite Righteousness and Eternal Life: difference is, God would have to will you to get those Attributes. Will, also, is a type of thinking. So, that's why we have to consent, too, in order to be saved: Will never coerces.

See? It doesn't have to be magic. If it had to be magic, then the relationship between God and us would be the magic.. Instead of being Together. Free. Just because. So, we can't magically earn anything to credit us before Infinite God. So, God needn't compromise His Infinite Righteousness by binging us magically. After all, He could. But He doesn't want to. He can do anything, but He doesn't want to do all He can do. It's not about Power, it's about Love. Which, after all, wouldn't be love, if not free. The gift of salvation, is free. Because, it wasn't accomplished by magic, is not offered by magic, and isn't obtained by magic. Because, God isn't magic, and neither is Real Love.

So, if we say "no" to believing in Christ, we are rejecting the only Gift which can save us. God will never reject us; we are rejecting God, if we never once believe in Christ, because Christ Alone was able to pay Infinite God. Christ made that total Payment, without our consent, about 2000 years ago. So, in order for us to be forever saved, living with God forever after we shed our moldy body (die) down here, we need to consent to what He paid on our behalf: consent to that gift. So, salvation is like a gift which is waiting for you at the Post Office — will you consent to its delivery, or not? "Believe in Christ..." means you've consented to its delivery. Until you consent, the Gift of Salvation is not delivered to you, but just sits in Heaven's Post Office, so to speak. (The Bible's Greek word for "salvation" also means "delivery, deliverance". 😏.)

Hell is the place where those who have rejected God's Gift of Christ will live, once they die down here, solely because they don't want to live with God — where else can they go? They don't want the Real Heaven: heaven is 'hell', in their eyes, anyway, because they don't want the Real God. What they want instead is for God to credit them for their "ἔργα", their works (Revelation 20:12; some translations mess up this verse). The 'god' they want, is smaller than the Real God, for only a smaller 'god' could grant them credit for their moldy works. But, as Ephesians 2:8-9 (and Romans 4, whole chapter) explains in Greek, Salvation "is God's gift; not from works, so that no one may boast." 'Corrected translation of these often-misused verses, showing where Greek lays emphasis. For Greek geeks: Greek οὗτος in Ephesians 2:8 is idiomatically used to refer to the entire previous clause, kinda like we do with the English "this"; so, references salvation, not 'faith'; that's why it's in the neuter, not the feminine (Greek πίστις, "faith", is feminine in gender). "From" could be translated "from the source of", really. English Bibles usually say "of works", which is vague and tepid, versus the Greek. Paul shouts, here, syntactically stressing four times how we can't 'do' anything but believe to be forever saved. "Saved" is perfect passive participle, so complete, impossible-to-lose.

See, in this life, we're used to having to 'pay' for something, to get something. If someone pays something for us, we feel the need to Reciprocate by 'paying' something in return. You take me out to dinner this time, so I take you out to dinner the next time, and so on. Well, that thinking is just fine between humans, but think: what can you 'pay' to God? (See Romans 4.) It's just plain irrational to imagine that a finite person can pay Infinite God anything, at all. Think: if you really needed to be 'good enough', or could be good enough on your own, wouldn't God have already made you 'good enough' in the first place? God demonstrates His Love for us in that He didn't need to make us good enough, of ourselves. Of course, if He had done that, we'd just be chirpy little automatons, not human except in form, having no free will. Whoopee. So instead, He makes us free first, and thus still good enough — Through christ. Who, after all, wanted to pay for our not being good enough, To Thank Father For The Pure Joy Of Knowing Him. (See Romans 5:8, Hebrews 12:2.)

So it takes a lot of very painful and needless arrogance to imagine that a puny human can pay Holy Infinite God even one 'dot' of anything. People who choose to reject Christ are just that irrational (arrogance is irrationality, the source of all non-organic mental illness). God knows this; and, like it says in both Isaiah 53:5 2Chronicles 7:14, He uses our flaws to heal us of irrationality, to the extent we consent: for, God Loves. He's never insecure, so He's never about 'put down'. He put up Christ on the Cross to put us all up. So, He puts up with us, while we learn, down here, about the Gospel — so to put us up in Heaven with Him, forever. [See Romans Chapters 5-6, 2 Corinthians 5, plus "brass serpent" verses in Bible, which cover this topic. Greek/Hebrew note: the common custom of using "He" to mean Each God is Biblical. The "He" (Him, His, etc) usage expresses awe (not daring to call Him by name); plus, it's a very witty verbal device to stress that the Each Infinite Person Individually has the same Attributes, Attitude.. And, are in Total Communion (ultimate word for "rapport", Love) on all things. 'Stronger statement than even total marital 'oneness'. Folks who don't get the deliberate pun on Their alikeness which such "He" usage means in both the ancient Greek and Hebrew of Scripture, become very confused, 🤣.]

Many believers are themselves confused about these things, and imagine that they must do something to either be saved, or that they can lose salvation. However, as you saw earlier, it's Christ's Doing Nothing On The Cross Which Saved Us, So We Do Nothing, Too. How do we know? Well, look, here's what He said While on The Cross: "Τετέλεσται!" That's part of a verse's Greek, of course. It means, "Salvation is (literally, "brought-to-completion") finished in the past with results which go on forever!" and is an exultant shout. Then, His last words: "into Your Hands I dismiss my human spirit, Oh God of Doctrine!" (Psalms 31:5.) So, then: if He says it's finished, it's finished! So, then: if someone, whether unbeliever or believer disputes and says Christ's do-nothing Work on the Cross is unfinished, such that the human should also 'do' something, isn't that disputation an insult to God, and thus apart from God, even — besides being rather silly? Verses here are many. The ones quoted, though, are from the Greek, not English, and include: John 19:30 (idiomatic translation of the Greek tense), Luke 23:46 (ties to Psalms 31:5 — "Doctrine"="truth", Hebrews/Greek use the term both ways). The 'doing nothing' fact is baldly evident from Him being nailed to the Cross, so obviously couldn't 'do' anything but Think Doctrine; Levitical "lamb" sacrifice and "Lamb-of-God" moniker for Him in both New and Old Testament.

That's why life down here is allowed to be naturally bad: people want to add something themselves! That's the very essence of the sin nature we genetically inherited from Adam, at birth: me-be-good, me-be-god, as hilariously demonstrated by the fig leaves thingy in Genesis 3. So, that's why God allows bad to freely exist — to forewarn of what life apart from God is like: endless, moldy, boasting! Don't we all hear that moldy boasting everywhere, all the time? So, then: shouldn't you, being gifted by God with the free will to choose for or against being with God forever — shouldn't you get full disclosure? Hence this world is allowed to be freely bad, so you can decide — for yourself.

Sure, it's good to be moral, and not good to be immoral. Why, though? So we can all get along better. It's a blessing to have, not a club to bang on God's Door, yelling, "You gotta let me in!" Isn't it nicer to be on good terms with folks, rather than having to use them to get something? So, then: true morality comes from, and requires, grace to operate happily. So, then: morality which is used to get something is no different from immorality, since the latter is always some kind of abuse. How much more, if morality is used to get something from God, is the user abusing God (well, imagining he is, a kind of god-complex)?

So this world is freely bad mainly because people use morality to get things they want — a kind of bullying. It's not good, it's not of God, and it is really immorality in disguise. Hypocrisy. Guilt. Pride: preening over one's own self-sacrifice, and expecting others to do the same! That's what happened to Satan (head angel opposing God, term means "opposing attorney" in Hebrew). That's what he and his cohorts very much want to happen to the human race. So, they, not God, sponsor all the morality they can. To abuse us. For, this world is also freely allowed to be bad to play out their arguments against God. That's why they sponsor religion: man, by man's own efforts, claims the approbation of God! True evil. See how disgusting such claims are, versus Jesus the Christ hanging on a Cross, doing nothing? Which side in the 'argument' do you think is more godly?

There is no second lifetime (Hebrews 9:27), and God is efficient: no one needs more 'chances' in some subsequent lifetime. He won't let anyone die before a boatload of offers has been consistently, always, rejected. That's enough time to be permanently self-hardened against God. After all, it only takes a second to believe (whether down here, or even in Hell). Moreover, no one goes to hell for sin — Christ paid for all sins, so sin is not an issue. [See Revelation 20:11 and following, for proof. Sins are not mentioned there.] Good deeds are not an issue, either, for who of us can make up to Infinite God for anything, at all? In order to do that, we'd have to be able to turn back Time, and redo everything perfectly. No one can turn back time.

So: just believe in Christ. Once. Then, you are permanently saved. What could be more fair, especially since God Himself Alone runs the ability to hear the Gospel? See: no one is left out. So: just believe in Christ. Once. Then, you are permanently saved.

Is there something else to get from this life, after being saved?

Oh, yes. In fact, you are "born from above" (not "born from above", a mistranslation) so you have a new spiritual nature: like God's. So you are a Royal Priest forever, which means you represent Him. So there's stuff to learn (never earn) about what that means. What it means the most, is that you can know God intimately. That's the best reason to want to be saved, actually. Using 1 John 1:9 and learning what Scripture says, you can learn how to enjoy being with God, even while down here. Life down here after salvation is expressly for the purpose of learning Him. God will provide the spiritual intelligence you need to learn Him. Your high or low IQ is irrelevant. That's why you use 1 John 1:9, to 'access' His Spiritual 'Brains'. As you learn Him, you will come to understand Him and enjoy Him, as you grow spiritually.

God is a Spirit, see, which is why you needed to be "born from above", to also become a spiritual being: you get a human spirit the first time you believe in Christ: That's where the Infinite Righteousness and Eternal Life permanently 'reside'. You won't feel them, of course, just as you can't 'feel' God. Infinity is too big to feel. Not magic. You can know God, instead: that's better than magic, and of course way better than feeling.

This spiritual learning is exactly the same kind of learning Christ did in His Humanity. (He did not use His Deity to learn, since the sins were to be paid by Humanity, not Deity. No magic, no sham justice, either.) Because God is Perfect, one of God's Attributes is (necessarily) Truth. Truth, being Infinite, can replicate without loss: so, can be learned, because learning is done with thinking. Obviously, it would take God's Own Power to enable this learning, which it did: the Holy Spirit taught the Humanity of Christ. So, also, us believers: we grow spiritually just like He did in His Humanity; but of course we sin, so we need to use 1 John 1:9 to learn Scripture. That Scripture, is Christ's Thinking (1 Corinthians 2:16, in Greek; also Hebrews 4:12), which the Holy Spirit enabled the writers of Scripture to not only know, but write. See? Not magic. He was able to bear all those sins due to the Truth He Learned. That's why He was so strong, so happy (see Hebrews 12:2). So too, can we become — though of course, we'll never have to go as far as He did!

Truth is not magic; Truth can be Learned. God's Truth is His Attribute, and thus can be learned. Learning of any kind changes a person for better or for worse, because thinking is involved with learning, and one also values what he learns. See? Not magic. Not emotion, not hocus-pocus or weird rituals, not chantings or ohmings or sitting on a mountain somewhere. Not works, but instead: Learning. Learning from God, takes God's Power, but it's certainly not magic. It certainly is a function of whether you are positive to learning. Hence the need for 1 John 1:9, for when one sins, one is offline with the Holy Spirit, and not positive. See? No magic at all. God is just that big: it's natural for Him. So, learning Him makes us bigger, too. Just as any learning does, except this learning is at God's level. Not magic, nor anything we can do. Just like salvation, we can only get this learning by Consent.

Learning and thinking are to your soul what food and exercise are to the body, and they develop in exactly the same way: all that is true about the effect of diet and exercise (or lack thereof) on the body is analogously true for learning and thinking on the soul (brain is interface between soul and body). Food supplies the body with the chemicals and energy to stay alive and be healthy; exercise instructs the body where and how to deposit muscle so the body can do what it needs to stay alive and be healthy under varying conditions of stress (resistance). So, if you eat the wrong food, or too much or not enough, you tax your body's ability to be alive and healthy. So, if you do wrong/too much/ too little exercise, you tax your body's ability to aptly function. [Nerd note: Everything is made up of some type of chemical, for a chemical is but a combination of atoms: "O2" for example, is a common version of the elemental chemical called "oxygen". Sadly, the term 'chemical' today is inaccurately used in a nasty way.]

So, if you don't 'eat' learning, you starve your soul (that's why brain won't work properly, either). So, if you don't exercise your thinking, your soul atrophies and fattens. So, if you 'eat' unhealthy learning, or exercise unhealthy thinking, you sicken. As with the physical body, the deleterious effects of an unhealthy soul take time to manifest, and take a much longer time to correct; the more time passes, the tougher and more correction is needed. That is why you must discipline your body, your mind. That is especially why God punishes: if we won't discipline ourselves, for our own sake we need to be disciplined. Clearly, then, learning Scripture is easier and more effective, than getting spanked.

Learning anything means essentially three functions must occur: 1) you learn data; 2) you learn connections among the data; 3) you believe what you learn. The believing is a consent, basically — for, when you believe, you agree that a thing is valid, true. Of course, to do that, you have to have a justification, a reason to agree. That's where your brain comes in. The Holy Spirit's Ability to Communicate data and connections via your God-appointed pastor (God will show you who) nonetheless will not enable you to learn unless you believe. You won't believe unless you can see the reason why the communication is true. So, some things you hear, you immediately believe; some, you don't. Others, you sorta believe, but you don't understand them well enough yet. Of course, this same process is true for secular learning.

The body is precisely connected and woven together: it is a marvel of design which all of man's genius has yet to even approximate. The greatest computer network is but an abacus, compared to the brain's ability to process and analyze data; and we only use about 10% of the brain's capacity, medical folks keep saying! So, then: a precise connection system is needed for accurate and clear thinking to occur, to be sustained, to be effective. Just as with the body, the soul needs a precise set of data connected in a precise way, for thinking to be happy and fluent. Of course, since God is Infinite, the spiritual life is of unparalleled precision. That is why only the Holy Spirit's Power works to create the 'body' of Christ's thinking in the believer's soul. Man can't even approximate it; man can only ape outer appearances, like a child apes her mother by clomping in high heels.

See? It's not magic, but the Holy Spirit's Enabling Power which affords you the opportunity to be exposed to the relevant data, and the relevant connections with respect to learning Christ via Bible Doctrine via your God-appointed teacher. However, God never coerces volition. So you learn nothing, even so, until and unless you consent. Each second, your decision, your reasoning why you believe or not. Your choice.

For, You are What You want want want to Know...

Will is the dominating factor of your life. You are what you want to believe, what you want to think, what you want to know. Bible calls this "eating". For, the soul 'eats' by believing, even as you eat food by wanting it. No one believes apart from wanting to believe, and no one else (not even God) can force you to believe what you don't want to believe. So, like it says in Proverbs 23:7 (in an eating context, no less!) — You Are What You Think. By Choice.

For the truth for us, is the same as for God: Will dominates, and Truth comforts. Specifically, the Willingness To See Truth, is innately contenting. God doesn't sin, because the Truth is so Gorgeous. No reason to want to sin, ever. So it stands to reason that the more truth you know, the happier you will become. But only God is Truth. So to get Truth, you've got to get it from God. That's why we have a Bible. People who get past wrongs in their lives do so because they accept the truth of what happened. They stop trying to fix what happened, but instead, move on. They don't necessarily ever like what happens, but they accept it. Same is true for unusual prosperities. Acceptance Is The Key To Everything. Just as your body becomes more content the more you properly feed and exercise it, so also your soul becomes more content the more you properly 'eat' truth and exercise thinking based on truth. Which, of course, means you are first accepting both.

Happiness Warning And Disclosure (heh): Accepting and Learning Truth from God is by far the most fulfilling and taxing life you can live. Fulfilling, because He's so Wonderful, and the more you Learn how He thinks and is, the more you want to learn. Taxing, because your body's got that stupid sin-nature genetic structure we all inherited from Adam: it's always going in the opposite direction. Taxing, because folks around you are being led-by-their-bodies: thinking is too hard, you see. So, you'll find it progressively taxing to be around others, the more you learn Christ. However, you'll also find learning His Thinking so refreshing and contenting, just as His Thoughts on the Cross comforted Him, so also will you be comforted as you face the 'cross' of having to live with the weaknesses of this world. In a word, you'll eventually find the entire experience, propitiating. Which, of course, Father also finds His Thinking on the Cross to be. Heh.

So what do these twin pulls (toward God, toward weaknesses) 'do' to your spiritual and soul life as you accept learning Christ? Well, it's doo-doo (weakness) converting into Diamonds (Doctrine, His Thinking). Paul writes about these twin pulls in Romans 7: 🤣, you no sooner know what "good" is, than you have an urge to disobey it! 'Same kinds of things as happen to your body when you feed and exercise it properly: you gain in agility/speed, coordinative integrity (synergistic competence), endurance (stamina), flexibility (ease), strength (power). As you grow, you'll find the emphasis needed to keep on growing is in the reverse order, with strength-of-will being the initial focus, to keep you going despite the pulls; but focus shifts to agility, once you're 'athletic'. Thus you can track your spiritual progress (progressively learning and using Bible Doctrine), similar to the way you'd track a body's progress.

It's amazing how the soul's attitude and progress/regress reflects the body's. Just as your body 'protests' when you are doing something you know is good for it, so also the weak soul reacts. Just as your body afterward has contentment and added strength from being rightly treated (despite protest), so also a weak soul will feel better and get stronger. The strong body or soul, by contrast, is eager to be exercised/tested/pushed, and becomes initiatory. In short, weakness is stillness, atrophy, death. Strength is movement, development, life. This fact is exponentially true of the spiritual life with God: learning and thinking constitute movement, development, life, since the real you is not your body, but your soul. Use it, or gradually become catatonic. No in-between.

A baby doesn't know anything. So all input is sensory, how a thing feels. Volition interacts with feeling to 'baptise' onto the feeling, a meaning of 'i like', or 'i don't like'. The trick to growing up, even secularly, is to have volition replace feeling preferences with meaning preferences. And preferably, the meanings will be aligned with the Truth. To the exact extent this replacement does not occur, the soul will be weak, babyish. Like a weak torso which thus weakens the entire body, so also a soul's 'torso' of weak thinking will stunt that soul's growth. For, weak thinking on any topic displays a continuing preference for feeling as the criterion for decision.

So a weak soul can't take much input or think very long before it 'faints'; isn't agile, so it can't 'dance' (enjoy) and can't evade sudden hits; it can't 'bend'; and above all, it can't have coordinative integrity, especially under repeated strain. A soul learning Christ, akin to a soul learning any viable subject over his lifetime, enjoys ever more increasing input and thinking; thus any 'hits' have progressively less adverse effect; such a soul also progressively enjoys bending, coordinating, holding together, especially under repeated strain. In short, learning Christ makes you a spiritual athlete, as Paul so frequently reminds folks in his letters. [In Greek, that is: all too often translations mask the athletic and military terms Paul uses.]

Hence the hallmark symptom of spiritual retardation or at least, immaturity, is a view of the spiritual life as a works thing. Kids are like this, always comparing what they do to other children, looking for approbation because they took out the trash, or took a bath — and tattling on those who didn't. Thus you see the wide divergence between Bible.. And Christians. We are all growing, and retardation is the norm. The higher a Job you have in life, the more thinking is required, not body stuff. So much more true, in the spiritual life! For God, is pure thought.

So the hallmark symptom of the maturing Christian, is that he accredits his works less or not at all, because he's come to know better — and instead, he focuses more and more on how he thinks toward God. For the essence of the spiritual life, is your soul thinking toward Father. That's how sins got paid for — that's how you relate to God. For God, has no body.

For people consider learning and thinking 'hard'. However, it's people who make learning unpleasant. Think about how you pour over the smallest details on a topic you love to hear, speak of, or read; then ask yourself what you'd call that same effort relative to a topic you dislike. Also, the way information is taught requires rote memorization, so the relevant connections of the data memorized are not taught. Thus, the information is uselessly taught, and boring; so, we are also taught to be bored/disinterested in it. Or, to motivate memorization, teaching focuses on emotional hooks, like singing your multiplication tables or alphabet. This, of course, links emotion as a justifier of learning: a very bad habit we are all taught from childhood. So, by the time we are adults, we look for some emotional justification for learning something; or, variantly, we need some kind of instant gratification of relevance to warrant learning or thinking. Teaching by rote memorization is justified on the grounds that it teaches patience, too; but thus were we also taught to hate/dismiss what we learned — for the relevance wasn't explained and repeated along with the facts. The History Channel's documentaries are often riveting; compare them to the same topics taught in school...

All the foregoing is even more true, with respect to the way Bible is taught; translations and religions alike make it out to be useless, rotelike, in order to deserve the moniker of 'holy'; so life with God is pitched as a boring huff-and-puff sterility, with man doing all the 'pain', and God getting all the 'gain'. So, learning becomes 'hard'. So, we seek shortcuts, soundbytes, quick-fixes and answers. So, we bond data and connections incompetently, to avoid that bad feeling we knew as children.

People believe or disbelieve based on erroneous data or, more often, erroneous connections deemed to link data. Emotion makes for errors; so do various prejudices, past associations (links you believed true in the past); improper definitions of data in particular make accurate learning a problem. All these handicaps occur much more often when it comes to learning Christ, for mankind is just like a dead battery (called "sin" or sin nature" in English Bibles), when it comes to wanting God. It's a genetic defect, a proclivity to choose against, so anything taught about God gets more garbled in the minds of hearers, compared to secular stuff.

Hence historically, most Christians choose to accredit what they do with their still-moldy bodies (sin nature stays in you until you die) — and learn God's Word, not at all. So no conversion is going on. No data is being connected. No relevancy is being built by the Holy Spirit. Paul explains all this in Romans 2, 4, 7, 9, 11. So their feel-goods and moralities, help them accredit themselves still further. That is why their ideas of what Bible says are so puerile; why as they age chronologically, they become prickly and legalistic, graceless, fixated on other's sins or alleged heresies. They remain immature, Ephesians 4:14. Such is not God's intent.

God's intent, is that you come to enjoy the Truth and Intimacy with Him, as He does. If you're busy loving, you're not busy tallying up scorecards of how good or bad you or someone else is. You're not busy saying how correct your belief, how heretical is someone else. Lovers are too busy loving. God threw all scorecards away on the Cross. So as you mature in Christ, you will too.

So notice how profound, even devastating: how you believe the relationship with God should be, is how it will turn out: for you are a King-Priest in training. So your own decisions, govern. Choose wisely, then. You're crafting an eternal future from those decisions. And any decision made in the past, can be reversed, while you are still breathing.

Truth needs no 'hook' like magic or emotional appeal, to justify accepting it. But if truth is deemed unattractive, substitutes will be chosen. Hence people often stress feeling as the criterion of truth.

But what's the real message of the Cross? Christ tells the world that the Truth is so beautiful, He wanted the Cross! See, the Cross is fundamentally, the Invincible Power And Beauty of the Truth: Psalms 138:2, 89:14-15, Psalms 31:5 (His last words on the Cross). It's not really about sin — that was a Problem of Separation (contagion, 'mold' of sin); which, His Growing Up in the Truth and Bearing both sin and judgement of sin, solved. (Isaiah depicts what He did as healing us, in Isaiah 53:5.) So, no need to feel guilty or bad that He paid for you. Instead, you can celebrate, and learn this beautiful Truth, which the Holy Spirit replicated in Him, thus in the Bible: the Mind of Christ. You'll have, as you learn Him, a truly meaningful life: a life where even all bads are 'baptised' (by Divine Design) to be catalysts for the greatest of goods, says Romans 8:28 (in Greek; English is fuzzy). For, by absorbing all bad into Himself, He "fills all in all" (Bible catchphrase used in a bazillion different ways in the New Testament). So, nothing else to do. So, no happiness exists "outside". Tell me: is this Ultimate Justice, or what?

Just think: here you are, with your happinesses and problems. Here the world is, constantly warring, striving, demanding, crying — so much pain! Yet what does it mean? All this pain illustrates what would have been the meaning of life, if He didn't pay for our sins! We are watching what he paid for, occur! After this life, these things are gone: "no more sorrow, no more tears, the old things have passed away" are but two of many Bible clauses revealing our future due to salvation. For now, we're getting intelligence information on the extreme value of what He paid — by doing nothing! So, isn't this the ultimate of Justice? Truth is so valuable, God doesn't even have to lift a finger to stop what's bad; what's bad is, just like everything else, Converted To A Training Device, resistance weights to make one spiritually bigger; converted to a hands-on Learning, akin to His No-Work Accomplishment on the Cross! See Hebrews 5:8-9, one of the funniest Greek paronomasias in Scripture — if you dare!

These learning (never earning!) choices you make determine how you will enjoy Heaven, not whether you go there. (You can't undo salvation, any more than you can turn back time.) Unlike the one-time consent to be saved, you've lots and lots of choices to make about how you want 'your' Heaven to be: kinda like a menu of options. God Himself knows what would most fulfill you, and He has a very detailed plan for your life; which plan, you yourself can choose to learn and follow. Or, you can choose your own way (not recommended, as God is far smarter than we about what's beneficial). So, by the time you quit this moldy body down here, your choices, like votes, add up to some resulting person you've become, in your soul. You thus will voluntarily and happily and perfectly 'fit' in a certain kind of societal life with God, as part of what the Bible calls "The Body of Christ". (The Book of Ephesians is on this topic.)

Down here, we each differ in our likes and dislikes, abilities and inabilities. Down here, if you want to be a ballerina but lack the body, you can't. Down here, if you want to be a nuclear physicist, but lack the means to get the education, you can't. But in heaven, everyone becomes what he wants to become, gets the life he wants to have, in the society ("kingdom of God", in Bible). The only way you can lose something you want, is to not want it enough. Because, life with God is shaped by learning God, which only He enables, both down here — and forever. So, it doesn't matter your sex, your cultural or societal handicaps, finances, etc. — there are no hindrances to you getting all of what you want in heaven: except, by your own choice. No one else can stop you. And, God never will stop you, either. He never coerces.

So, inabilities don't matter. Desire, though, does. If I desire to be a nuclear physicist, and I have all I need to actually become one, but don't choose to study enough — I won't become one. Because, I didn't desire it enough. Lots of Christians desire to be favored by God, but won't choose to learn Him. So, the life in heaven they actually choose is.. Distance. Kinda like being a king, but choosing to live like a peasant.

For, Christ is Royal; so we who are in Him (believers) also are, because in Him, Royal: "King-Priest kata Melchizedek" (per Hebrews 5, and lots of other verses — "kata" is Greek for "according to the pattern of, the order of"). That 'position', status in Him is irrevocable (one of 39 irrevocable inheritances one gets upon salvation). In fact, if you've ever once believed in Christ (even right now), at that very second you are a Royal Priest, in training (should you consent) to become also a King. Under the "King over Kings", Christ. Forever. The Kingship option is yours to accept, or reject. The level of priesthood you want to have in heaven is likewise your option to accept or reject. Acceptance means you use 1 John 1:9 and start learning Scripture in that state, habitually. Rejection, of course, is the opposite. See? You choose how you want 'your' Heaven to be, once saved: do you elect God's King-Priest Plan for you.. Or, your own?

What does a King 'do'? By contrast, what does a peasant do? A peasant cannot think, because that requires a lifetime of training. But all a king does, is think. He has to look good for the peasant, since the peasant cannot think and therefore cannot imagine the role of thinking. A peasant therefore must see things. Visible wealth is important to impress the peasant. But to the king, thinking is true wealth. No polity lasts long, without it. And all the physical wealth is meaningless, without thought wealth. So how much more true, when being crafted as a King for an eternal kingdom? Again, Christ was nailed to a Cross. All He could do was think — and that Thinking, paid for our sins, Isaiah 53:10-12 (the fact is stated 21 times from Isaiah 52:13-54:1).

So, look: what does God get for your existence? What did He want? He wanted you. So, what does learning Him do to you? It makes you, to the extent you consent, more like Him. Compatibility. Rapport. Sharing. Love. The stone too heavy to lift, really: the one thing God 'can't' do (because it would violate His Integrity) is to force you to become compatible with Him. So, your post-salvation choices to keep on learning Him will convert you into being more like Him — with all the attendant happiness which comes from such increased rapport with the Most Gorgeous Persons in the Universe. Not emotion. True knowledge. True Love. His Power, given in accordance with your consent, to learn Him. (See Ephesians 3:15-21 and 1:15-23 if you think this benefit too good to be true.)

So, as always, it's not about works, which after all couldn't have saved you, either. (Works do nothing for God, before, or after, salvation. God didn't save your works, Christ didn't die for your works; God saved you; Christ died for you.) God does the works in your soul — then 'rewards' the world for your growth in Him in ways beyond all human ability and wealth. (Ephesians 1:19, 2:10, 3:19-21, 4:11-13 (but only in the original Greek), Colossians 1:9-10(only..Greek), Colossians 1:18, Philippians 2:12-13.) See, human ability and wealth all come from moldy bodies, which is why neither can save anyone anything. So, 'only produce more mold. Granted, we have needs, and we can do things with these bodies — in fact, must, because the continuing moldiness means continual management of the infection — but only God is not moldy.

So only God can do things to heal, slow down, make good out of, all the moldy infection which keeps on spreading also, by means of thought. (Thought naturally replicates, so thought is naturally contagious.) So only God can truly help man. So, if you are growing in Him, becoming more compatible with Him, your own moldiness while down here is being healed by that Truth, His Thinking you are learning. For, that Truth replaces the mold by means of Learning His Thinking! Ephesians 4:11-16 and 4:23 in Greek say all this; so do many other verses, like Romans 12:2-3, all of John 14, 1 Corinthians 2, 5. Again, translations are usually messed up.

So, unlike someone who's not growing in Him, you're being used to do what no moldy body can do. Truly truly help replace moldy thinking, with Christ's Thinking. Doesn't matter that it's not visible: mold's danger is not in the part you see, but in the part you can't see (get any good biology book on molds). So also, the counter-mold (so to speak) of His Healing Thinking is not visible to others. Bigger still, you are becoming more like Christ, which pleases Father no end: just as we are blessed with salvation due to Father's Pleasure with Christ, so also those of us in Christ are the justification for Father blessing the world, temporally. Bible frequently calls this Father-pleased-so-Father-blesses, "sweet savor", and it's a Priestly thing. So, see?

It honors Christ to bless us and the world; and Father Loves Honoring His Son. Christ paid, we benefit. We benefit, because Christ paid, because He loved us. So, the Father gifts us to Christ. So, we must be made glamourous, so to speak. Scripture depicts life post-salvation to an engaged woman who gets ready for her marriage: beautifying herself, and enriching her dowry. In the process, even those who will never believe in Him will be "paid" for our training period, as it were, down here. In short, if you would do good for people, learn Christ! That function does far more for them, than all the money on earth: "infinitely more than all we can ask or even imagine". (Ephesians 3:20 — clause is very strong in Greek.)

This is a personal thing, your salvation and spiritual life. It's not about who else believes as you do, what your family and friends do: you are your own soul. No one else has rights over your soul, and you have no rights over someone else's soul. So no one has any right to influence or dictate to you what you should believe. That's a private matter at all times between God and you. God is your Real Father, since only God can make a soul.

So, now you know the simple truth: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and in that moment you are forever saved-to-God!" Go in peace: "Be Still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (7 verses, including Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:5.) "not willing that anyone should perish" (2 Peter 3:9). 'I, even I am He Who removes your sins, as far as the East is from the West.' (Christ, talking from His Deity in Isaiah 43:25; see also Psalms 103:12. This quotation concatenates both verses, which is a common interpretational math technique in Scripture.)

See? He loves you: "For God so loved the world" (John 3:16) and "God demonstrates His Love toward us: in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died as a substitute for us." (corrected translation from the Greek of Romans 5:8.) for all of US: 1 John 2:2, 2 Corinthians 5:14-15. See? God never rejects anyone. So: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you are forever saved-to-God!" Plain, Perfect, Simple. Forever. So: go in peace, and, as 2 Peter 3:18 says, "grow in grace and knowledge of Our Lord-Savior, Jesus Christ — to Whom, Glory! Both now and forever!" (Peter's last words, semi-corrected translation. Of New International Version.)

True fertility vs. Sterility

We are born spiritually-dead. Made alive, in Christ. Still alive in these dead bodies, we are likewise surrounded with all manner of deadness: human viewpoint, good-and-evil (evidenced most of all by works-lust), Titus-for-tat, sterile relationships. Of course, all relationships are dead because they are based on the foregoing values, plus any Satan & Co. Promulgate on a dead humanity which can't tell real truth from feel-goods.

So, then: to the degree you 'baptise' Bible Doctrine you are learning into your life, only to that degree do you have children, instead of a sterile spiritual life; instead of wood, hay stubble (1 Corinthians 3 ties in here). "For you are adult sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:26, corrected translation in caps). So, then: Corollary 3B of Part III, your Bema Blessing works on the exact same principle as the Cross. So, then: don't waste your spiritual life on works, which are but 'natural' children of this world. So, then: don't waste your inheritance, your Trial Witness, your unique-for-all-time royal priesthood to Our Father by leaving unlearnt or unused a single one of His Thoughts!

Spiritual childbearing key → All 'childbearing' is measured by what is born for father. Get the pun? He's the father. So, should have 'sons'. Starting with, the SON, called the "First Fruits" in the Bible (after the crop term). So, there should be other fruits, too. Other καρπός (literal, fruit, but means gain, profit). So, the measure of a believer's production ("fruit", oft-heard in Christendom) is the 'fruit' he bears for father. Not for people, not for things, not for self. Of course, if one comes to love father like the SON does, then this command is one's dream-come-true! So, to bear children means one must first become 'pregnant': but with what? Seed, another name for the Lord, in Galatians 3. And what is that Seed? Well, Luke 8: the word. So, become pregnant with the word, or else spend your life on wood, hay, stubble — none of which bear anything but burning.

Why don't more folks recognize that the Father never had His Own Priesthood until the Session? The Levitical priesthood is for the Lord's Deity. But father gets the Lord's humanity as High Priest (namely, Psalms 110:1, as Hebrews 2-10 explains in great detail). And we are His Body (Ephesians 1:15-23, 3:15-21, 1 Corinthians 6 (body is basis of analogy) passim in other epistles). Thus Royal Priests under Christ to Father (1 Peter 2:5,9; (especially) Revelation 1:6, Revelation 5:10, and stressed as a main theme in Hebrews 2,4,7-10). Talk about conclusive proof beyond remotest doubt that the Church is not not not Israel! Even any English translation can't hide this!

Do you realize, this permanent position with respect to infinite father means that someone can be completely handicapped his whole life, seemingly doing nothing for another, but rather, being done-to; someone can live in a cave his whole life, never contacting anyone else — and in each case, more fruit is produced if the person lives his Royal Priestly life toward Father, than all the good deeds in history! So also, those of us who have humdrum, 'normal' lives, seemingly doing nothing, just 'getting': live the spiritual life, and brushing your teeth will be of far greater significance than any sacrifice you could make!

For, the measure of 'works' is the measure of the recipient, in God's Plan. So, here: the recipient is infinite God. So the fruit of even toothbrushing while filled with the Spirit and thinking Doctrine learned is.. Infinite. Look: if I die for my beloved america, that's a bigger deal than if I die for my mother. Dying for my mother is a bigger deal than dying for my bird. Dying for my bird is (well, maybe) a bigger deal than dying for my Job (depending on what Job it is). See? The measure of a great 'work', is the recipient, not the doer. So, father is always first recipient.

Motive matters. If my motive for learning and using Bible Doctrine isn't because my Husband, the Lord, wants it for Father — so I can get 'pregnant' with Doctrine and bear spiritual thoughts, the true chilren father wants (AKA sweet savor, in Bible) — if my motive is based on someone or something else, it's fornication. Pure and simple. Wouldn't matter how much Doctrine I'd learned, how many good deeds I did, how much people praise me — it's for another 'master', not "as unto the Lord." No matter what I called it; no matter how much people say it's spiritual. Fornication is never spiritual, and never justifiable. So, wood, hay, stubble. Burned.

Motive is either built by Bible Doctrine under the Holy Spirit, or.. By Satan & Co. Man is fundamentally motivated outside himself. For, like God, man is not alone. So, if I'm under the Spirit, I'm motivated by the Spirit; else, by the flesh, which is under the prince of this world. So, I'm either faithful or fornicating, at any moment, by reason of motive alone. Just as the Lord said in the Gospels, if a man even thinks of a Galatians lewdly, he's already committed adultery with her. Doesn't matter that he didn't touch her. How much more true, then, with respect to our Spiritual Husband, who wants children for father, would motive matter? And how much more true, then, if the first thought I have about anything is, "What does father want?" — will I be faithful to Our Husband?

For, what Husband wants, is attractive — because He wants it. Because Father wants it, He wants it: "My food is to do the Will of Him Who Sent Me", He says. So, what Husband does not want, is UNattractive — because He doesn't want it. Because Father doesn't want it. Never mind who else is affected. So, if husband wanted me to never look at, see, know, touch anything, just sit in a chair — that's attractive. If it isn't, then Love has no meaning, and I'm just a hypocrite. For with God, it's all.. Or nothing. First commandment. Which, if you really love God, is no burden at all. In fact, no price is too high. Subjective genitive becomes objective genitive, 2 Corinthians 5:14-16, Greek (The 'genitive' quip was made famous by James Joyce).

Ironically, the soul really needs to give unencumbered love, but can't do so. The Cross was a gigantic outlet, a relief for Jesus.. Because it was for father. True Love is like that. True love like that can only be built by millions of Perfect Diamond Deposits of Doctrine, by the Holy Spirit. Line upon line. Then, when 'pregnant', in birthing pangs (AKA 'labor', the "Evidence Test" Section of Part IV), then all that Doctrine finds its outlet, relief, sweet savor.. For husband, which means.. For father. One.

People doing for people is always touted as God's Will. It's fornication, not God's Will. Quick proof: watch how nasty people get when you tell them their good deeds don't count. Then ask, oh, so how much do you love God, if He didn'T value your deeds? On second thought, don't ask. The answer you get is too depressing. For, the answer you get proves that their 'first commandment', is self-praise. Just like Satan & Co.

So, to the extent that Christians aren't living the spiritual life, wrapped up in their stuff with mere people; to the extent their motives — even if they don't know their motives! — are not "unto the Lord", they are fruitless, truly sterile! Oh, how many do-gooders will kick themselves, at the Bema, when they realize how they missed out exploiting this ironic, most-high life, bought by the Most High!

The Gospel: a Due-Diligence Contract Disclosure, Medical and Legal Statement

Due Diligence Contract Disclaimer, Synopsis and Notice: anyone who is a potential or actual Beneficiary of a Contract must receive Due Disclosure; what that person does with the disclosure is a private matter; such person takes upon himself therefore the sole responsibility for acceptance or rejection of the information. Here, the Gospel (e.g., in John 3:16) is a Contract Offer of Rescue (AKA "salvation") by God, which is predicated upon a prior Contract being completed on the Cross, as disclosed in Isaiah Chapter 53, most notably in verses 10-12; and any member of the human race is a potential or actual Beneficiary, at any time in human history, for as long as the person is alive. From what I can tell in Scripture, this Disclosure is continually given and eligibility remains, even for those alive in hell, namely Luke 16:19-31, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Peter 3:19, Ephesians 4:8-9, Revelation 20:11-15, and many Old Testament passages allusively on the same topic (i.e., some Sheol verses). Trouble is, negativity is more addictive than the worst narcotic. So by that time, a person has so long refused such an Offer, he has become too enamored of his own ego to ever change his mind. That conclusion is drawn in part from the martyr-manipulator attitude of the man in (the underworld compartment known in the Greek as) "Torments", as disclosed in the event recounted in Luke 16:19ff. We know it is an event and not a parable, because real names, places, and family details are used.

Because we are all born spiritually-dead-to-God apart from our consent, we die physically. Sin and its resulting insecurity, manifested in the need to be "good", manifested in our inability to 'see' God — these are all but evidence of this spiritual deadness. Two Bible keywords for this deadness are "flesh", and "old man". So roughly 2000 years ago, the Humanity of Jesus Christ paid for all sins of all mankind who would ever be born. By doing this He removed the Judicial Barrier between God and man which sin and its results also created. Per the original language texts of Bible in Isaiah 53:10-12, this Payment was Legally Contracted in Eternity Past between God the Father and God the Son; Who, per His 'side' in the Contract, Added Humanity to Himself; in that Humanity, He became "the Christ" (literal Greek), AKA "Messiah": both words mean "Savior, Anointed One". So per the legal clauses of that Contract — "If You will Give Your Soul as a Substitute for Sin, you will see Long-Lived Seed", humanity could be created. The "Give" clause of the Contract was executed about 2000 years ago, with retroactive and prospective total efficacy; back then — again per the Contract, disclosed beginning in Isaiah 52:13 — Jesus the Christ paid for sin by means His Thinking 'replies' to God the Father's imputation and judgement of all sins into Jesus' Soul. Again, all this was done apart from our consent. To signify contract completion and rejection by Israel, about 40 years after He did this — as forewarned some centuries prior by Daniel 9:26 — the Temple in Jerusalem was razed, to prove He'd Paid and Left; this He Himself explained in Matthew 24. So you'll notice from history that the "abomination" predicted there has always existed, since: the current "abomination" since 685 AD, is the Dome of the Rock. So this "abomination" is an ongoing, silent, historical testimony to His Completing His 'side' of that Eternity Past Contract. Hence we can even exist.

Thus, God Created A Cure For Our Deaths:
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and in that moment you are forever saved-to-God!"

(Bible verse named Acts 16:31a: capped words convey a truer, idiomatic translation from the verse's original-Bible Greek.)

So, our deadness-to-God is not a feeling thing, not a societal or cultural issue, not a political or religious issue, not a race or gender issue; not a guilt problem, not a me-be-good problem; but instead, this deadness is a Congenital Defect Every Human Has At Birth, which can only be cured by God. To which curing-by-God, You Consent By Believing In Christ. You couldn't consent to being born the first time, since you couldn't consent until you existed; but now, you can consent. Bible chapter named "John 3" calls the result of your consent here, "born from above" (another Bible term for saved-to-God, is literally "born from above" in John 3:3,7). Which God does for you; this is the birth to which you can consent. Since God makes you "born from above" in reply to your 'authorization' (so to speak), You Can't Lose Your Salvation, Ever. For, you get God's Own Eternal Life and Righteousness the very second you initially believe in Christ, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, many other verses. That's "the Gospel", meaning "(official) good news". So live.. Believe that Jesus Christ paid for all sins you'll ever sin, and you are forever saved.

John 3:1-18, 31-36 explain this fact: the God-breathed Greek text stresses that you need believe but once in your entire lifetime. (Translation can't show the once-ness meaning of Greek participle translated "believe". But Greek emphasizes it in v.16, 18, 36.)

Here's why it's not about any other kind of sin, but rejection of Christ. First, God Is Infinite, and We Are Not. Holiness Is Infinite, and We Are Not. So for us to even exist, this dichotomy must be solved, but if we exist we must consent to the solution. Sin introduces a genetic rejection impulse, rather than consent. So sin is inevitable, if creatures have free will; so before creation even existed, God the Father judicially reserved ("passed over", in Bible) all sins; then in 30 AD, on Wednesday the true 14th (but nominally the 18th) Nisan — between 12:00-15:00, God the Father Imputed And Judged All Mankind's Sins Into Christ's Humanity (Isaiah 53:5, Isaiah 53:10-11, 2 Corinthians 5:21). Passover Plot is a subset of the Daniel 9 timeline; it goes through the chronology of Passion Week in detail. New Testament Gospels make clear the Jewish calendar for the prior year had not been properly intercalated, namely, the fact that He is the Passover Lamb Himself but had a first-night Passover.. So people who don't notice that fact, misdate when He died. Old Testament sacrifice rules in Exodus (etc.) commanded that the Lamb be set aside on the true 10th Nisan — that was the first Passover night, nominally, in 30 AD, so the calendar had not been intercalated properly; but nonetheless the Lamb was set aside: that was the night He was arrested. On true 14 Nisan, the Lamb is slaughtered before sunset, per the Law: that is when He expired on the Cross. God keeps the Law He made.

That is why we all can even exist in the first place, because the two-fold costs of our existence had to be Adjudicated And Funded, namely, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." So, creation is Fully Funded (called "Atonement" + "Propitiation", in Bible, Isaiah 53:10-11 key transformative verbs καθαρίζω and ἀφαιρέω in the LXX).

So all that remains, is whether you also accept the Funding ("Reconciliation", in Bible): which you do, When You Once Believe In Christ. So you are "Redeemed", purchased to God. That frees you to live with Him forever. God is Happy, so guess what you will be? Conversely, to refuse to believe in this Free Gift of His Payment, is a rejection of God Himself Who Made You. So the only 'unforgivable sin' for which you go to hell, is to reject believing in Christ for your entire lifetime, John 16:9: "concerning sin, because they have not yet believed in Me." [Corrected translation from the original Greek.]

Notice how God accepts responsibility for His Own Actions. You didn't consent to be born. By making your soul and imputing it to the body which exited your natal mother's womb, pattern of Genesis 2:7, He Alone Made You a 'you'! That's a strident refrain in the Bible, e.g., Isaiah 44:2. Since He Alone Made You, He Alone Judicially Reserved the sins you sin back in Eternity Past; then per the "Give" clause in the Contract, He Imputed, Judged All Sin On Christ, On The Cross... So that now You Can Consent, since now you are alive. French 1910 Louis Segond and Nouvelle Edition Geneve (1979) and Latin Vulgate (using the ablative of separation) get Isaiah 44:2 right, but the other translations I can read, do not: they all reverse the meaning of the original text, so the translations say the opposite of what the original says.

Being alive, we all sin; and in fact apart from our consent, we were all born in sin, Romans 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:22. Which we know, because even if we think a bad thought (self-righteous thoughts being the worst among them) — it's a sin against Infinite Holiness Who Should Not Have To Watch it. For who among us doesn't get upset in traffic, or when something goes wrong? God doesn't get upset by anything, because He's God. But we are not, so of course we get upset. But Omniscient God Who Never Forgets shouldn't have to see that upset forever, right? That's not fair to Him Who Alone Created our souls! So sin was an issue in creating each of us, for in effect God is creating what's Unfair to Him. So, Christ qualified to Mediate, in His Humanity paying for all sin on the Cross — again, completing ("perfecting", legal term) the "Give" clause in the Isaiah 53:10-12 contract. So Christ Himself, not sin, is the Replacing Issue, John 16:9. Hence the Consent Requirement: do you want to live with God forever? No unbeliever is judged for any other sin but Rejection of Faith in Christ, see Revelation 20:11-15: note that "good works", not sin, are the basis for the indictment — since works are there claimed as a substitute for belief in Christ.

Notice also that this is an Inheritance Contract: Isaiah 53:10-12 is vivid about that, even in any translation. So to turn down the Inheritance of Living With Holy God forever Happy, is a pretty dumb thing to do. Pretty mean thing to do. The soul rejecting this Free Offer is a pretty dumb and mean soul. Other sins are inevitable, but who in his right mind would reject this Offer, which just has to be Fair? A paraplegic can do it; a child can do it. No one is excluded, for anyone can "believe". No works work, and none are accepted by God, Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 64:6. Notice also how in John 16:9, the Holy Spirit — Who is also God, a Third One — does this disclosing and convincing: language in John 16:9ff is legal, juridical. So it doesn't matter how isolated a human being is, there are no barriers to communication from Holy God. That we also have human and Bible witnesses as additional disclosure sources, is but more evidence of our continuing refusal to believe. So we are all pretty dumb and mean souls. But the Offer is Still Valid, evidenced by that Dumb Dome's (Dome of the Rock) advertisement of Daniel 9:26, as it continues to sit atop the Temple's former Holy of Holies Bedrock; since the Real Πέτρα has Risen, Having Paid for Our Sins ("Bedrock", literal, Matthew 16:18, Hebrews 6:19 and Chapter 9, many LXX verses). God's Holiness isn't compromised by our refusals. Christ paid, it's real, and it's Really Available to Anyone Who Believes in Him, no matter how dumb, how mean, how "wretched" (Bible term, ταλαίπωρος).

So when you first believe(d) in Christ, that Inheritance of "Salvation", Is Permanently Given You: you become the "long-lived Seed" of the One Who Seeded you per Isaiah 53:11; so Bible calls you "redeemed" (literal, ransomed); and therefore you are "born again" AKA "born from above" spiritually (key verb "πλάσσω" in Isaiah 53:11, LXX; New Testament key phrase, "γεννηθῇ/γεννηθῆναι ἄνωθεν" in John 3:3, John 3:7).

So no one goes to hell for sin because Christ Paid For Sins, John 16:9. You exist: ergo sin is not an issue now, since it was already resolved prior, dating back when the Contract of Isaiah 53:10-12, was made and executed. So now that you're breathing, the issue is different: do you want to live with God forever? Sin was an issue in justifying your physical birth, which was God's Act of creating your soul; and that was decided, apart from your consent; but now that you are a "living soul" per Genesis 2:7, belief in Christ is the issue in justifying your spiritual birth; which birth, now requires your living consent. It's that simple.

If yes, you want to live with God forever, then you must believe in Christ, since He's The One Who Paid For You To Live With God. Ephesians 1 likens this Payment to an escrow/pension fund account, just as Isaiah 53:12 does (synonymally). Which means you must claim it — hence Believe In Christ And You Are Forever Saved! No substitute payment can therefore suffice. People who don't believe try to substitute something else: their good deeds (Greek word "ergon" or synonyms). See John 3, last half; John 16:9; Revelation 20:11-15. So they reject God Himself when they reject belief in Christ, since God designed the system for payment, Christ accepted the judgement, and made the payment.

So the Problem Is Not Sin, But Rejecting What God Accepted. You Can't Reject What God Accepted And Live With Him Forever. His Terms. Of course, you have to refuse your entire life in order to even go to hell (though it doesn't pay to wait, either). So long as you are still breathing, you can change your mind and believe in Christ, and thus forever avoid hell, Hebrews 9:27, John 10:28, John 3:16.

Once you believe in Christ, your entire life's purpose changes; but it's still not about sin, human good, works, etc. Still not a religious or political issue, etc. Rather, you can learn God, now that you are a spiritual being made Like Him. All my webpages focus on this Royal Inheritance you got that first nanosecond you believed in Him, because there are "kingdom" inheritances which anyone who believes in Him, can train to receive. These potential post-salvation inheritances are mammoth, clearly documented in Scripture; but are largely not taught, from what I can tell on the internet. Hence the webpages disclose them, so the reader can thus more easily effect his own due diligence, do his own homework. It's never fair to forcefeed or withhold information.

"Royal Gospel Brief" constitutes a good summary of Gospel issues you can use in your proofing and researching. "Does God Exist?" seems to assist folks on the relevant issues regarding the definition of "God". "Mirroring" focuses on how God accounts for Time, and in the process covers the significance of the Dome of the Rock; once you can see that God orchestrates Time itself, your understanding of salvation, Bible, and God Himself, will skyrocket; you can also search on "Dome" in Lord vs. Satan, if interested. Both of those pages cover the historicity and legal precedence of Christ in the larger context of the Divine Design and Angelic Conflict over all human history. "Due Diligence, Diplomatic Disclosure of God's Design" probably best covers this whole question from the juridical standpoint, but it's also long. Congenital Defect shows how we all became born in sin as a nature, and is Lord vs. Satan's "Fall... Religious Fantasy". The DDNA series elaborates the most on the nature of the Isaiah 53 Contract, and is the most sophisticated of webpage explanations: I can't find anything remotely like it on the internet, either. But you can prove from Isaiah 53 and collateral verses (usually never amalgamated with LXX) that it's not about sin, but about Transmutation into God's Own Nature: which He Does Under The Isaiah 53-Disclosed Contract, So That Rapport With Him Can Be Full. Forever.

Summation: all of us are born into a Congenital Addiction to sin, which God Himself foreordained and then Solved; hence, we each vary only by type of sin preference, largely dividing out between moral sins (self-righteousness) and immoral sins (lasciviousness). But God Had Christ Pay For All Of Us, 1 John 2:2, just as contracted in eternity past and disclosed in the God-breathed texts of Isaiah 53:10-12. So It's Not About Sin, But About Do You Want To Live With God Forever? If "yes", "believe in the Lord Jesus, and in that moment you are forever saved-to-God!"

The Real Problem with the Gospel of Christ:

a fake feeling of Hellish Defeat, if one believes in Him?

The True Gospel, put simply: you once Believe in Christ to be forever rescued from Hell; and instead, forever live with God; because, Christ paid God for all mankind's sins. God accepted that payment, but now it's up to you to give your free consent, since God accepted without your consent. That's it. Bible's John 3 is clear enough, even in translation.

So how weird is it, to be insulted by the message that Someone died for you.. Whether you believe it, or not? There's nothing hateful in that message. Wouldn't it at least sound nice? Would you treat as an insult, some smelly person giving you a winning lottery ticket? Salvation is surely worth more than winning any lottery. Why then is the message rejected? Why is it generally considered somehow demeaning? On what grounds? Enquiring minds want to know.

Ok, the alternative is nasty: hell. Gasoline goes in a car, but if you drink it, your life will be hell, too. But neither the real hell, nor the hell of drinking gasoline, are necessary alternatives..you can avoid both. So why are we not insulted if warned about gasoline, but insulted at the Gospel, while unbelievers? Why, as Christians, do we always feel so constrained to justify the Gospel? Why do we not need to be apologetic about the hell of gasoline, but do need to be apologetic about the existence of the real hell? These reactions don't make sense: if your mother warned you not to drink gasoline, would you accuse her of hating you? So if God warns us to believe in Christ, why do we brand Him as Unloving? Makes no sense.

Look: we hear ideas all the time. We accept them or reject them. We call some stupid, some smart. But unless something is seriously wrong inside our own heads, we aren't particularly offended at the stupid ones. 🤣, it's only an idea! Bad, good, stupid, smart. Why should an idea, be offensive? Especially, if the idea is complimentary? However untrue a nice thing might be, you wouldn't normally be offended by the idea of a nice thing, would you? We aren't offended that soldiers would want to die for our home country. So why, then, when hearing news of an Ultimate Soldier Dying for Us, true or not — why be offended? Makes no sense.

But sense is not important, to the offended: feeling is important. So, if a drug makes you feel good, you'll take it — never mind that it hurts you. So, if a message feels bad, you'll reject it — never mind that it rescues you. Brain is out, because feeling is in. If confronted with the stupidity of rejecting the message, one often feels guilt. Still the brain is not on. One just changes feelings. Brain then supports feeling, opposite the Divine Design of soul-running body via brain. See how helpless we are? How calloused to sensing truth?

How calloused must one be, to treat the Gospel as an insult? Do you know, even holy books 'feel' supernaturally insulted by the Gospel. The average devotee of any such books won't necessarily even understand the protest against the Gospel in such books. The protest is too smart: that fact was a most surprising discovery, during my research for the "Appendix" of the Thinking series.

Look: why does the Koran repeatedly mock the Cross in every Sura? There are literally hundreds of references. It's a fixation, in the Koran, to play off original-language Bible manuscripts (which at that time were protectively hidden): going so far as to change the color of the red heifer, the Levitical communal sin offering (Numbers 19:2-10), to yellow: thus mocking the Cross by creating a communal golden calf (Al-Baqarah, Sura II, "Cow")! Moses made the people drink that calf when he melted it down, and many thus died (Exodus 32:20). The red heifer replaced the golden calf, even as Christ would replace our own sins with Himself, see.

As illustrated in the "Appendix" of the Lord vs. Satan, the Cross is stridently mocked in most other A.D. Holy books, and even in Bible translations and commentaries, with no one the wiser. Amazing: each day since 1999 I've run across yet more genius mockings. See for yourself: pick up any other holy book written post-Cross, and you will find not just one, but many sly or blatant vituperative statements against the Cross — especially, compared to the meanings of Bible in the original languages. Why is that?

But I remember feeling insulted at the Gospel, too: and lying to myself about that fact. In high school (1968-1971), a really obnoxious Christian bugged me day after day and the prissiness was soo annoying. I stayed quiet, but thought... Oh, this can't be right. So I skipped right over the message and thought instead about how obnoxious this high school 'buddy' was. I distinctly remember not wanting to give in to her incessant, legalistic whining about the Cross because I didn't want her to have the pleasure of victory over me.

Wasn't my motive, weird? Where was my brain? So I too was calloused: Bible term is "hard of heart". Used of Pharaoh, and in Romans 9 of the Jews who likewise refused to believe. I was like them. Lying to myself, to justify rejecting God; why should the alleged prissiness of someone be my excuse for rejecting the Gospel? What, so she won't win over me? Was I sane?

Whoa: did my thinking then reflect Satan's, or what? I might as well have been his mouthpiece, thinking exactly the same thought as he shows he's thinking in Matthew 4, a Bible chapter I probably hadn't ever read. Nor understood, until hearing my pastor's 1997 tapes which focused on it. Whoa. Because, in the Third Temptation, Satan proved he'd rather be zapped by Christ, than give in. Satan was baiting Christ in all Three Temptations, but the last one was anti-messianic: Satan was also gambling on Christ zapping him, so he could be the messiah ("anti" first means "instead of"). And here I was, a dumb teenager, mimicking that same motive, nearly two millennia later. Yikes!

So Isaiah (8:14) was right when he called the Christ a Stumbling Block, a Rock of Offense. It makes no sense to be offended by the Gospel. So something's radically wrong with the person who is offended. No excuses warrant it. Not even our bad 'Christian' behavior. Odd thing is, we all were unbelievers, once. We all have been offended. Isaiah was right. So also Paul (Romans 9:33), and Peter (1 Peter 2:8). So now we who were formerly offended, as believers are offensive; no matter how we act. John was right in 1 John 4 to say, "Do not marvel that men hate you". For, we too are rejected of men, because He was — just because we're here. I mean, why isn't it true that some other god's name is a swearword? You don't see anyone cursing oh, Baal, do you? Yet the Christ's name is used so routinely as a swear word, people over the centuries invented euphemisms, like "oh, Gee"...

Whoa. Trapped laterally, we humans are all unjustifiably offended at the tender love message that the Gospel communicates, namely, in Romans 5:8 and John 3:16. You don't see any condemning there. So as believers, however bad we might be, the core rejection we get isn't our own making. It's the trapped, hating the Free — even though the Free bring a message of Freedom so the trapped can get out, Galatians 5:1!

Whoa. I remember feeling like it was a loss of life to believe in Him, that first time I knowingly believed in Christ at age 18. It was the hardest thing, to do that: a kind of surrender, a defeat. But I clearly knew beyond all doubt, understanding nothing, that if I wanted to live with God forever, I had to believe. So, I did. And felt truly defeated, not elated. Ashamed to be so weak. But I did believe, because to live without God.. Was an unbearable idea. Guess to others, it's more unbearable to live with Him. Non possum vivere tecum, nec sine te...

Why the heck did I feel that way? Why would it be so hard to believe in good news? Isn't it good news, to win money? Isn't it good news, to at least hear Someone loves you so much, He died for you? Even if you don't believe it, even if you think it's too good to be true.. Why the hostility, and sense of defeat at such a message? Do earthquake victims resent the ones rescuing them? How could I have even been a moral person, to resent such a message? To consider it a matter of survival to reject the message, and defeat, to believe? Whoa. What an eye-opener, this trip down memory lane. I was thinking just like satan! Didn't know that then, of course. Can see it now. Whoa.

Royal Gospel Brief, continued

And now, 'the fine print' for Enquiring Minds...

Key questions arise in assessing the meaning and validity of the Gospel, which you seldom find answered in Christendom. All my webpages seek to answer these and related questions, because the post-salvation life requires understanding them as well. Yet the following eight answers here, might best speed your own analysis.

  1. That one must believe Christ paid for one's sins as the only way to be rescued ("saved") to God, is a medical problem, not a political, sexual, or religious one; for, sin destroyed our ability to have a relationship with Infinitely-Righteous God. It's not that God can't have a relationship with us, but that we can't have one with Him. It's incompatibility due to the medical problem that sin creates. It is thus also a legal issue, since now you are alive and can choose for or against, God curing you.

See, sin is of the opposite nature, to God. Sin is a nature, and it's genetic, which is why no two people are tempted in exactly the same ways; sin is not merely a thought or action which is harmful. Note that: harmful, ergo called "sin". But the sin nature, being opposed to God, likes what's harmful to it. Sin created an addictive desire for itself; so we naturally want sin, human good and evil, instead of God. Every human has this strong urge to call himself "good". [Self-blame is actually first; the counterurge of calling self good is to mask the self-blame. Sin is first and foremost an inferiority complex.] That's the quintessential proof of sin's nature: you wouldn't have an urge to call yourself good, if it were already true; since, if it were already true, the urge would be satisfied, so there'd be no urge! Lying, divorced from reality, is the sin nature: Lady MacBeth's "damned spot". So actual sin is just volition giving in to that relentless, Energizer-Bunny-banging urge. Romans 7 and 8 cover the interplay in detail. Truly a dread genetic disease we were all born with, in Adam (Romans 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:22).

What happens as one ages, is that the body takes more and more control over the soul. This makes the soul progressively closed to God and thus to reality; so the closure process functions a lot like arteries closing down in the human heart. The process also mirrors how mental illness develops: by the end of the closure (though not always), the person is very ill mentally. That this devastating soul illness is common among mankind makes it seem 'normal'; kinda like how in Germany during Hitler, lots of crazy ideas were embraced as right by many moral Germans.

Hence the need for disasters and catastrophes, to open or stent (preserve an opening in), the atrophying soul. It has no defense against the body, apart from believing in the Gospel; and even after salvation, the soul still has no defense unless the person lives in God's System (more on that follows in #3, below). For, the derivative power of rejecting God shatters a soul: it's a spiritual atom bomb, see. Since sin is a rejection of God whether one knows that or not, you can see why God's Love is so vast; why He is so keen on rescuing us — even to the point of allowing or even sending, disaster. Surgery, to save us! Now you know why hell exists and why it lasts forever: God never gives up.

Hell will be mostly populated with moral people, for it's natural to be moral; so most people in either heaven or hell were moral, down here. Morality is a great thing, a dessert. However, people treat it instead as a desert, so dry out their graceless souls (Numbers 11:6). So morality is a blessing, so long as one doesn't use it to garner anything from anyone. Especially, from God. Morality becomes the grossest immorality when it tries to use its 'goodness' to get something. Since God invented morality, when the moral uses morality to get something, he literally spits on God's gift of morality, in effect saying it wasn't enough; so someone (i.e., God Himself, 🤣) "owes" him for his good deeds. Cain did just that, in Genesis 4. Even Hitler was less evil, than the moralist who uses his good deeds to get something from man or God. See Romans 2-4.

You'll notice that there were no good works or religion or sin before Adam sinned in Genesis 3. Sin was a rejection of God, if you look at Genesis 3. After Adam's sin, whoa, look what happened — fig leaves: religion, needing to be important, good, etc. Sin's not merely the gross stuff you hear harped against in society: self-righteousness, crusading, one-upmanship is all sin, too. So, see? It's a medical problem, and consequently a legal problem of consenting to the needed cure.

On another level, it's a legal issue because God is Infinitely Righteous, and has lost 'something valuable' He made, namely us (He made each of us at birth via creating our souls individually at that point). Therefore, He must be paid for the damage, so He can restore what was lost to Him. It doesn't matter that He's able to do this without being paid. If someone disables you or your loved one or your property, you should get compensated for that, irrespective of how rich you are.

So notice how Christ's Payment is like insurance proceeds: we messed up, He pays the bill. Doesn't matter, that He paid Someone (God the Father) Who didn't need the money; beloved property belonging to that Someone (us), was damaged. So, juridical payment for the damage, is due; is paid; is spent on us, beginning that first nanosecond we first believe in Christ. And since we are damaged goods due to sin, we can't ourselves even repay a farthing. Even our righteousnesses are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6, Zechariah 3, and "filthy" is a euphemism).

Notice how the rescue/salvation issue is not about people's behavior, race, sex, religion, culture, politics, or any other human-human question. Those things are all completely irrelevant, since the medical and legal issue is about God and mankind, not about mankind-mankind. LordvSatan2.htm, Part II of the "Thinking" series of series, examines this structural problem in greatest detail: see the "In the beginning.. Man" section of that page.

  1. The "Gospel", which literally means the "King's Good-News Proclamation", is thus a treasure disclosure; a Notice Of Royal Inheritance, really. So what does that mean? God Personally provided a Royal Salvation for you personally, so that you can enjoyably live with Him forever. See, Christ is the highest and Eternal Royalty due to the Cross (Romans 6, Hebrews 5-10, Philippians 2:5-10), so if you believe in Him, you become Royal as well. That's a big deal, so you should have a right to reject it.

Any heir, especially a royal one, can elect against the inheritance provided for him, since this inheritance was provided apart from your consent. So, another "voting" aspect of believing Christ paid for all your sins, is that you vote to get the Inheritance God provided for you, before you were even born.

You don't have to know this is also what your vote means, to be saved. It's just part of what it does mean. Few who've ever believed in Christ know anything about this inheritance, even though the Bible is pretty plain about it from Genesis to Revelation (i.e., Hebrew word for "seven", as in the Day God Rested, is a keyword about this inheritance, and is a central theme in the Greek of the Book of Hebrews).

So think carefully about whether you want to even once believe in Him, if you haven't done so already: #3 just below, gives you disclosure on what Inheritance you'd also turn down. So if you never once believe in Christ during your life down here, you not only forfeit the royal inheritance God has reserved in escrow personally for you (no one else ever gets yours); but you choose instead the 'inheritance' of hell.

By contrast, if you already have once believed in Him (and you might not remember, for it's easier to believe while young), then you're 'stuck' being an heir; you'll happily live with God forever, no matter what. So you have an inheritance to learn or not learn while down here, as you choose.

  1. So, then: say you've already believed in Christ. What happens next with respect to this inheritance? Well, first know this: you don't wait until you die, to inherit. Being Reconciled, you are now a "believer" and permanently saved for heaven (Bible term); you can't lose that. In fact, you can't even begin to be spiritual until you are first saved, and unless you get the inheritance. For crying out loud, to make you have a spiritual life, God gives to you His own life (John 3:16, 10:28, literal, "eternal life"), and His own righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21, Genesis 15:6). Those two Attributes of very God, make you on par with Him in nature, juridically. For God will not tolerate lesser-thans. He created finity in the first place to infuse it with His Nature. But free will creation can opt out. For Love never coerces. So with a spiritual life — God's Own — you can now be grown up in that life, theme of Romans 8 (stated baldly in Romans 8:4's Greek).

Therefore, being a believer (AKA "saved") now, you must get a good bit of that inheritance now, while still in this body — for you must vote on how much of this inheritance, you want in eternity. Again, for Love never coerces. Also, because you need to get it, to learn how to enjoy it. Like anything else, wealth is something you must have and practice on, in order to learn how to enjoy it. You didn't enjoy learning math or your ABCs until you trained in them. Now, they are second nature to you, and you enjoy them very much. Same for whatever is your 'Job' or hobby. Yet it's a very tough thing, to learn to enjoy wealth — because everyone's after wealth, and almost no one knows how to use it. That's why there are so very few wealthy people. That's why it doesn't matter what denomination you are, or even whether you consider yourself 'Christian'. If you believed in Christ, the only way to get corrected on the doctrinal wealth, is to first get it, and then learn it, by living the spiritual life in God's System. True for anyone.

So: the only way you can screw up and get punished in the Christian life, is to not use your inheritance while down here. So if you don't think you're saved, you'll end up not using the inheritance you actually have, because you're too busy "crucifying the Son afresh", Hebrews 6:6. That passage in context is partly about believers who don't realize that Christ finished all payment on the Cross, so they are trying to 'help' by their works. Very sad thing (passage began in Hebrews 5:11 and ends Hebrews 6:13). So pretty much all Catholics of any stripe, most ecumenical religion, and any of the so-called "protestants" or "independents" who think you must do something besides believe to be saved (or think you can lose your salvation), are not using their inheritance — or, not even saved, who knows. Huge tragedy, that. Lots of Divine Discipline happens therefore (typically the life suddenly turns very bad, for no apparent reason). God always uses Discipline to beg the question, to get the believer to question his premises, to look up at God — and get into God's System. All punishment is designed to bless, 2 Peter 3:9.

God is very serious about getting and using wealth; not at all the wimpy charity thing. God makes jobs from His money, not gimme programs. So if you don't learn and use your vast assets given you the nanosecond you first believed in Christ, you will be punished all your life — until, you wake up and get in God's System (more follows, below).

So the inheritance is in three "tiers". You can't lose the first two tiers even if you reject them, though you will mightily regret not using them. These tiers are covered in more detail below. Here we'll just introduce them. They are:

You need the first two, in order to realize the potential for C. On the web, C is often called "the doctrine of crowns" or similar such language. It's taught widely enough so you can tell a lot of folks know it's in the Bible. "Crown Prince" means you are to inherit a kingdom. So you have to abdicate, in order to lose C.

So it's this third tier which you can lose if you reject it. In fact, during your life down here you will turn it down many times, only to later revoke your rejection via usage of 1 John 1:9. See, the inheritance is so big, you have to learn it and learn how to enjoy it, gradually. This inheritance is shocking; so you'll change your mind back and forth a lot as you learn. Details about its structure are covered in all my webpages, most exhaustively in the "Thinking" series (well over 1500 printed pages, by now).

See, nothing about God is small or petty, so He's not pleased by small and petty gifts, Hebrews 11:6. So He's not pleased by people who say they can't do something (what, is God impotent); who say they want nothing (what, is God poor): they will thus get nothing but basic salvation for that egregiously arrogant refusal: 1 Corinthians 3's "yet he himself shall be rescued/saved/delivered". For, He never gives small and petty anything, since His First Gift to us is His Son on the Cross, Romans 5:8, John 3:16. So He likes big.. And that means infinite. So.. Eternal in nature and big in scope, are His Gifts. His Gifts. Not, what puny man can do. Not now, not ever. Any sacrificing from man, spits on the Cross. Bible reserves its most scathing descriptions for people who claim they do works. Forget it.

So, this inheritance is a big deal, and requires lots of learning and training: Bible likens both to a Royal Heir learning how to take over a kingdom, to the Olympic games (especially a marathon footrace), to being a professional (doctor, lawyer, etc. Human ability is totally rejected, so it doesn't matter how smart or dumb you are. You are Royal now in christ; just as He rejected His Own Divine and Human Power to help Himself or us (i.e., Matthew 4), so also you are now Spiritual Royalty, and your human abilities or flaws 'just come along for the ride', so to speak (2 Corinthians 5).

More specifically, the third tier is an ironic version of a Crown Prince inheritance, in escrow: you are awarded an eternal kingdom just before death if you complete the training, see 2 Timothy 4:8. So it takes a long time to learn and decide if you want it all. For, Crown Princes can abdicate inheriting a kingdom. Most Christians (99+%) abdicate, historically; of course, they still remain royal after that, but are in a kingdom, rather than inheriting one. So will be ruled by one who did not abdicate. That's why Paul (and other New Testament writers) kept on stressing the need to persevere "to the end" (literal Greek, to completion of your spiritual development), and warning about who will not "inherit the kingdom", "inherit the promise", etc. They're not talking about salvation, but about this C tier.

For Royalty is not the same, as Ruling. Do not mistake this for the oooh-aah idea of ruling which titillates the masses with all its pomp and power. True Ruling is very difficult, totally sacrificial, for the Ruler lives to serve the ruled, not show how great he is; so the training enables you to enjoy the sacrifice of it so much, you'd never be happy in any other capacity: kinda like being a parent of many children you dearly love. So, it will take a lifetime of training. "Training" means "bring every thought into captivity" (a Bible verse, one among thousands of same meaning); so this is not some peasanty, hustle-and-bustle-around-church thingy. Royalty Thinks. So, must be Trained How To Think. Here, trained to think like Christ. So obviously, human power is irrelevant, and the Spirit's Power is used. So obviously, it takes a lifetime down here, to train.

When a ruler abdicates, he is choosing for his kingdom to go to another. No one can take it from him. Only he can refuse. So on the one hand, what's escrowed for you can go to no one else, has only your name on it — on the other hand, if you abdicate, it has to go to someone else by your choice. Just like dying "intestate" (look up the word in a law dictionary). So long as you are in this body, you can keep undoing your abdication by using 1 John 1:9 and getting in God's System. The moment you die, you can no longer undo your choices.

Accordingly, you permanently and irrevocably got Parts A and B of your inheritance that first nanosecond you believed in Christ; adjunctively, these two tiers form a training environment for you down here. You won't feel this initial "deposit" (Bible term — also, "sealing"). Tier C, the Crown Inherited, is different: it is conditioned on tier B, your function in God's System. These three parts are elaborated on in all webpages; a short synopsis of their nature, follows next.

Generically, the inheritance tiers for believers in the Body of Christ (Bible term) are:

Tier A Absolute, de minimis assets. These are eternal salvation, eternal protection, eternal provision of bodily needs; Royal priest for Father, right to learn how to become a King while down here; and much much more. You get all this immediately, that first second you believed, and it functions immediately-and-forever, too. So when you're in a jam, and you suddenly find yourself protected, provided for — this A tier is why. You Are Royal, and Rank Has Its Privileges. This tier A is far bigger in meaning than a mere Royal Gospel Brief can convey. Think of it as worth a bazillion dollars, to get a glimmer of an idea as to its real (far bigger) value. Principle: all material things depend on the immaterial things. So if you get "every spiritual blessing" (Ephesians 1), you get all the material ones, too — as you are trained enough to enjoy them. Underlying Principle: God does the giving, never man.

As a result, sometimes you will be so awash in material wellbeing, you'll not know what to do with it. Sometimes, you'll be hanging by your financial fingernails, not sure if you'll get your next meal. But the biggest category of assets, are spiritual. Sometimes you'll so understand God that you'll be flattened; at other times, He will be a complete enigma to you. High and low: Omniscience is both, so your training and logistical provision will vary from high to low, to round you out in your soul. So don't expect a million dollars to suddenly drop from the sky — but it might. So: always ask God what lesson your situation conveys. Then apply whatever Bible you know (Tier B) to it. All assets are provided as training aids. Always.

Look: Christ is God-Man. So He had to get used to having all power; He was to subordinate the power to Love, and not be awed by it. Even on the sitcom "Bewitched", you see that having huge power causes as much trouble as it solves. So one must learn how to use it. Withhold it. Do nothing. So one needs both highs and lows, not only for purposes of learning the 'stretch' to have better appreciation of/ rapport with Omniscient God Who knows all the bad. One also needs these highs and lows to learn how to be bigger. Odd thing about wealth, the more you have, the harder it is to spend. You end up realizing that the best way to use it, is to not use it. Less is more.

Tier B Bible: Royal Learning Assets, "God's System". It's an entire learning system, replete with Teacher, Book, Time and Logistical supplies so you can keep on learning. So a lot of your financial wellbeing depends on your being in this System. The Teacher is the Holy Spirit, but He gifts to you a human teacher as well, because soul-to-soul compatibilities aid learning. It's not a denominational issue, so you can be in any denomination; the right teacher for you might be in the same or in some other (or no) denomination. Basically, being in God's System means you are regularly (i.e., daily) studying Bible under a pastor God chooses specifically for you (God matches individuals, Ephesians 4:16, in Greek). The spiritual life is only learning and living on Bible you learn. It is not at all what you do, but What You Think Before Father.

See, Christ became High Priest (central theme in Book of Hebrews) and we are Royal Priests under Him forever, tier A. So, your thinking is a Priestly Function, justifying vast blessing to this world. The blessing element in this non-forfeitable role alone (or, cursing, if you aren't doing it) is so shocking, it took about six years of 40-60 hour weeks, to write "Thinking" Series (especially Lvs4c.htm) — which even so, in my opinion merely sketches the big picture, parameters and massive influence of the spiritual life He legated to us.

See, Christ in His Humanity is also Seated as King; "kata Melchizedek", a Priest-King over all creation, forever. So, you are in training to learn to become a King under Him. Again, Kingship is a Thinking Role; so, Christ's payment on the Cross was Thinking (covered in #5, below); so, that thinking is supposed to get in your head, so you can become a head of a kingdom: it's the main theme of 1 Corinthians, especially Chap13 in the God-breathed Greek (English is terribly mangled). This is the biggest topic in all my webpages, and is most thoroughly covered in LordvSatan3.htm, which runs maybe 140 printed pages (in smallest View size).

History is thus exclusively determined by how Christians think, not by any other factor. This is also true partly because history as we know it, should have ended 70 AD (when the Millennium was supposed to begin), so there is no other mechanism (i.e., prophecy) justifying the continuation of life except the development of the "Bride", AKA "Body of Christ"; this development will be used to justify rescuing the promised future Israel essentially rejected when Christ was down here. That's why there really is a "Rapture" (term originates from the Latin "ῥάπτω" = snatched up, variation of Vulgate translation for 1 Thessalonians 4:17). Doctrine of the Rapture is very long and widely referenced in the New Testament. Took four years just to write up the main parameters. Rapture is a bridge to rescue Israel's covenants, essentially. It's really not like the popular junk you hear in Christian TV and movies, though it is unpredictable, it does occur without warning, it is the next thing to happen, historically, and yes all believers will suddenly disappear all on the same day. On that day, the Tribulation — promised since Daniel 9:27 to Israel — begins.

See, the Jews were given unconditional and conditional covenants. The only conditional covenant, was the Bridal Role, which was a future eternal rulership; but to get that, they'd have to vote for Messiah when He came. To this end, God told the jews when Messiah would be born and die. Proof that He came and left would be that the Second Temple would be razed. So you can look at the Wailing Wall, and see that Messiah has already come and left, even today. But back then, He hadn't yet come. But they would know when. So they could prepare. But instead, they rejected Messiah, kinda like Vashti refusing to come when called. So we Church (which of course still includes any Jew who believes in Christ) are "grafted in"; but only because there was still a promise [of that Bridal Contract], remaining open (Hebrews 4, main theme of book, see also Romans 9, 11). So the promise to Israel (not Church) of the Tribulation and Millennium, suddenly had no Bridal Bridge, but only the Groom. So, now "Esther" is sought among both Jews and Gentiles (theme of Matthew 16:18, and Matthew 22); those who believe, become "Church", AKA "Body"; and then when in aggregate all the Church believers are completed in spiritual development as far as they are willing to go.. The Church becomes "Bride". Rapture is the day that happens, and since obviously spiritual development depends on how you vote to get in and stay in God's System, no one can predict when that date will occur. So "apart from us, they [Old Testament folks, including Israel] will not be completed" (Hebrews 11:39-40). So Part IV (LvS4a.htm, LvS4b.htm) goes into excruciating detail on that topic. My pastor has taught this fact for about 50 years; it's not hard to see it in Bible's original language texts. Why almost no one in Christendom understands this our vital role, baffles me no end.

So, all your circumstances are designed around this tier B.: if you are blessed, B is why; if others are blessed, it's because you are in B; if you are spanked, this is why; if others are spanked, this is why. This tier B is your life right now, as a believer. The stakes cannot be higher or more important. Most Christians have no clue about B, and thus they miss out on enjoying bazillions upon bazillions of dollars of value. The money just sits there, unused. If you want to help the poor, get in and stay in God'S system. God wants you to Learn His Son; no amount of money or works can beat what God can do to bless a world for the sake of those learning His Son. Again, the stakes cannot be higher. God justifies granting time, good weather, competence, political stability due solely to believers growing up in God's System. He did that since Adam; much more now, that Son's Thinking is to get in His Wife-in-Training, us Church. No human work is as high, and of course no human can create time, weather, political stability, polity prosperity. See Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 for a brief on God's policy here. Regate all the Church believers are completed in spiritual development as far as they are willing to go..

Of course, this B tier is the most fabulous of the three tiers, for once you get in and stay in "God's System", you come to really know Him. That's heaven, baby; all the money on the planet can't even begin to compare.

Since A is worth a bazillion dollars, B is worth its exponent, and in fact B exponentially increases atop itself. The actual investment formula's exponent is something like "ab"; where "bv", is also the value of the assets themselves (so bv is both the capital acted on by the exponent, and part of the exponent itself). This amounts to a dynamic rate of return on assets which itself nears infinity, and for good reason: the yield is permanent. As in, Forever.

Hence there's no such thing as luck or chance in the Christian life. Everything happens for a training/ learning reason. So, if like most believers you're not in "God's System" (i.e., no one in the "Christian right" is in God's System) — you will be severely spanked, to alert you to that problem. Everyone gets spanked a lot, since we are Royal. Spanking a Royal is the opposite of spanking a child: the Royal's spanking is often insidious, not particularly public but greatly hurts the periphery; and by the time you wake up to your rebellion, it's almost too late. Rank also has its responsibilities, see. Back in olden times, when a royal misbehaved, his 'punishment' was to watch another child or animal be given a severe whipping. This instilled in the rebelling royal a recognition that every time he misbehaved, someone else got hurt. Very effective way to teach honor.

Tier C Crown: Reward of your own Kingdom and vast wealth, not just something pointy on your head. Put the words "Crown Prince" in front of your first name: that's how you are actually known in heaven, right now. Scary, huh. Now, this tier C is mostly received after death, but a huge amount can be conveyed before death, depending on how far you're trained in B.. Actually, since you are a Crown Prince so long as you are in this body, others are hurt if you don't grow in God's System; or, benefitted if you do. Because, it's your kingdom. This isn't hyperbole. Nations rise and fall due to the growth/retrogression of Christians in them. Again, God's ultimate goal is to convert your Crown Prince status into a real kingdom you will own. Vast wealth, here, not a little neighborhood or petty fiefdom. That award glorifies His Son Who was awarded Everything (Hebrews 1, Ephesians 1), so it's valid. Unlike down here on earth, eternal rulership is of consummate enjoyment for ruler and ruled alike, because everyone at that point is wholly perfect (and wholly free). So, no injustice, arrogance, politics, petty people; and the ideal role of rules, synergy — is fully operating. Revelation (21:24) says it will even be a glory for the "kings" to pay taxes, 🤣.

So you need to train in B your whole life, to become able to have C; for, it's not good to have such enormous wealth until you know how to handle it. Because, Rulership is a burden you have to learn to love above all else, or it's not worth having. Owning is fulfilling once you know how to own, and enjoy owning. Training for owning so much is not easy, but nothing is more fulfilling. This is training in Thinking Like Christ. It's not something you 'do'. (Body is never spiritual, just comes along for the ride, so to speak.)

The way God thinks is the opposite of man's puny grasping, so it takes some time to just master the spiritual information (many years, actually). Once you do grasp it, you'll never be satisfied with something less: because, by then you will be (as it were) 'in love' with God (it's not emotional, but an absolute attitude always on your mind). So by then, to you the greatest benefit of that wealth, even though you will then enjoy it for itself a lot, will be that you are finally able to glorify Him through its use; frankly that's all you'll ever care about, by the time you are trained to rule. LordvSatan3.htm extensively explains how this training works.

There's nothing whatsoever 'religious' about this love or glorification. You glory in what you love, so you glorify it by thinking about it all the time, trying to get more time to spend on it, etc. Obviously, if "what" is "who", then you are keen on thinking about that person all the time and spending more and more time with that person. You'll talk about that person to anyone who'll listen, too. Love is like that. Glory is like that. Glorifying is like that. Not, wimpy religion with its fake love, fake majesty, evil self-righteousness. God 'hates' religion, and as you learn Him you will also.

Of course, it should go without saying that likemindness is God's goal, in establishing this tier C. In other words, the more you grow in it, the more you think like Christ, so you will be closer to Christ forever, versus those who abdicated. Royalty has ranking. Ruler rankings are the highest. So, the closest to the King of Kings, Christ Himself. Meaning, more time spent close by Him. The self-righteous peasanty-Royal who knew his own huffing and puffing vegetable-Cain-works down here, will be lucky to see the King of Kings once in a million years. For, he abdicated from his inheritance, which is an even worse rejection of Christ than being an unbeliever: claiming the Name, but rejecting learning the thinking of the Person. A lot of religious people will be on the equivalent of Pluto, forever. Saved and immeasurably happy, but.. Oh so far away.

It's impossible to be more arrogant, than to spurn wealth. All that fake piety and badmouthing of wealth just spits in God's Face. God is the Most Wealthy Person In the Universe. Get used to it, or get punished. Wealth is not about hey-look-at-me. Insecure people latch onto anything to feel better about themselves. Wealth is instead, a tool of honor for father. And were you born in a wealthy household, you were weaned on that principle. It's very hard to live with. You are not your own. You have a legacy and a heritage to live up to: His.

So C, depends on B. Do you want the Rulership portion of C? That's God's will for every Christian, but every Christian has the right to reject it. You reject it, by not using B. Wow: that's a big personal decision, and you need a lot of disclosure and learning from B, to make up your mind. Of course, if you do want it, then you need a lot of disclosure and learning in B, to train for it. All the learning and training is only done to you by God the Holy Spirit, and only in God's System. Human power, as always, is too "short" (Romans 3:23b, so there are no substitute systems, even as there is no substitute salvation).

Since your inheritance is infinitely tailored to you personally via God's Unique Sense of Humor, the three tiers of your inheritance can only be described here in generic terms. God will personally reveal to you over time what the specifics for you are, since you'll have to vote on them (God never coerces). Count on the most exquisite matching to every facet of your life and personality, no matter how small, how gross, how elegant. God's Thinking is pricelessly witty. No end of enjoyment seeing His Will.

Here's an example of God's matching humor in a real-life story. Note how God does matching, even in a small story such as this one; look for a parallel story in your own life. For once you see the pattern, you'll find many parallels in your own life.

In April of 2000, this computer I'm now typing on, was pressed upon me by a janitor named Jesús, who I'd known but not seen in months; he didn't know where I was, but saved the computer for me for two weeks. This, even though he was poor and I, less so. I tried to talk him out of giving it to me, and keep it for himself; but he'd not listen.

God knows what you're thinking at all times, heh. Another secret: I love getting stuff from the trash, since I hate shopping (it bores me), and I also hate waste. So, see? God loves to match even the teeniest ideas in your head.. And answer them. Never underestimate His Desire to be intimate. For, that's how Infinity (one of His Attributes), 'thinks'.

By the way: God did this same 'trash' thing to me with respect to many other objects (well over 100 of them), usually on the day after I thought about wanting to buy something and decided not to do so; or, more commonly, the day after I realized I needed something (whether a small appliance, bookcase, TV or couch!) — it would be there, clean and separated! Hence it was impossible not to know God the Son (Who handles believer physicalities) picked a janitor of the same name (hint hint) to answer my 'secret' decision against doing these webpages.

So on a personal level, the C category is the sum of all you ever dreamed of, and much more you couldn't even imagine; so you need to learn that you have more options than what you can imagine, now. As you learn, you'll change your mind about what you wanted; by the final learning stages you've reversed your opinion on many things you used to want, so what you used to dream of, is now your worst nightmare; conversely, what you used to hate the most, you now want the most. Extremely ironic, what happens as you learn. Often, you'll find yourself quipping that your dreams-come-true, are your worst nightmares.

For, this is precisely what God Himself elected 'when' He elected to create. So, that's what happened to Abram, to Moses.. To Christ, to Paul. So too, us: in the final stage of B's learning, God gives you all of both your worst nightmares, and dreams-come-true. (God has the Sublime Sense of Humor: "Thinking" series of webpages examines Best-united-to-Worst issue as one of its major threaded themes.)

So your inheritance is thus entirely tailored to you. Stuff you never told anyone you wanted or hated, God shows He heard you.. And answers, baby. The fellowship with Him is incredible, way beyond puny emotion or lala fake supernaturality people pant after. Cuz see: when you believed in Christ, you married Him. For Better, and for Worse. So — oh, this is rich — God makes the Worse, better than the "Better"! And takes you through it all, since clearly human power is totally inadequate for such a journey!

Most Christians don't even know about this three-tier inheritance, because they don't bother to learn what the Bible says about it. Since learning the Bible in God's System is the B tier, they have opted out of C. So most Christians will have abdicated; so instead of being rulers themselves, they will be in the kingdoms of those few Crown Princes who finished the training to become, Kings. So you can abdicate from becoming a Ruler; but you cannot lose salvation, no matter how you reject God, how you sin or do good/evil, while down here. As mentioned at the beginning of this point #3, the first thing God does to you is make you spiritually born, and at His level: Eternal Life, Divine Righteousness. God's Attributes can't 'die' or get 'lost'. They are permanent by nature. Salvation is actually a change of nature, which is why the Lord explained it to Nicodemus as being "born from above" in John 3. That's really why you can't lose it: you permanently change nature in that first nanosecond you believe in Christ.

So now that you are a believer, only what suits that new nature, will fulfill you. Your old nature still bangs on the door of your soul, divorced (main and very witty theme in Romans 5-9). Because, the sin nature is genetic and you're still rattling around in this old body. But the real nature has to be filled up — His Thinking, theme of Romans 8, 2 Corinthians 5 — and nothing else will suffice. All the world's goodies, are no longer good enough for you. Ergo, you need Tiers ABC to learn your ABCs and stop being a spiritual baby. And baby, once you do, nothing else will even begin to be attractive. All links on the Home Page elaborate on this structure, as well as on how You Change In Nature the very nanosecond you first believed in Christ; as well as, what you inherit in Him, now that your nature is changed so that you can live forever with God. The treasure is personal, not at all related to works or being good, and the wealth and wit of life in Him is utterly phenomenal. All the kingdoms of the world are but dross, by comparison!

  1. Before Christ's Humanity was born, was this same way to be saved, true? Yes: see Genesis 2:17, 3:15-16, 21, 15:6 and all "righteous" verses when used of a human being. Salvation was physically depicted in the Old Testament, to celebrate His promise to become Human (the "wh" of the Sacred Tetragrammaton). So, celebration took the form of dining-type ritual and related mnemonics, showing how His Future Sacrifice would buy the promised salvation inheritance.

That's why, for example, "atonement" for sin was depicted by sacrificing an animal (i.e., beginning in Genesis 3); the sacrifice was a contractural acknowledgement that the future Christ (depicted by the animal's sacrifice), would pay for that sin. Over time, the meanings depicted in the rituals, were codified in writing; for example, in the original languages of Bible, Isaiah Chapters 53-55 explain in exacting detail, how He'd pay for sins, what would thus happen to Him and to us, as a result. "Christ" in Greek (i.e., in Daniel 9:25, LXX) = "Messiah" in English (haMashiach, in Bible's Hebrew). Means "Anointed One" (referencing His Kingship , · la Psalms 110:1), "Savior" (representing His High Priesthood), and similar meanings. "YHWH" references His (then-future) God-man nature (depicted by the gold and wood materials of the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies, in Moses' day).

Again, Israel was supposed to be the "Bride", when the Groom (Christ) came to pick 'her' up (First Advent, in modern theological lingo). So at that point, what we ended up getting as Church, was initially supposed to go to Israel. But she refused the Groom. That's like the Book of Esther (Christ makes deliberate analogy to the Book of Esther from Matthew 16:18 through Matthew 24). So Church takes on an Esther role while down here, and in the Millennium will be in charge of the Gentile nations. In eternity, Church is Bride. So see the continuity and the contingency? Salvation is always the same, the plan was always the same, but when one rejects an inheritance, it must go to someone else. We Church are only here due to Israel's rejection. We owe Israel much. And God will make sure that His Promises to Her will be fulfilled — but this last Brideship promise, was to be the conduit for all the other (unconditional) ones to be relayed. So that's why Church has to be finished, before the Tribulation and all the other Old Testament promises (i.e., Millennium) will play out (Hebrews 11:39-40, in context of the whole book).

There was much more to write about once He did add Humanity to Himself and via that Humanity pay; since via the Cross He bought also a royal legacy for us (Ephesians 5, all of Hebrews); so, when all the "New Testament" (term's in Hebrews) was completed, no more ritual (etc.) was needed. As Paul puts it in Galatians 3, the Law was like a school monitor (not 'schoolmaster'), pending the real Adult Training in Son's Thinking. So we have the Bible, now (called "Love" in 1 Corinthians 13, cleverly playing off "Head", a wordplay theme running throughout 1 Corinthians you can't see in translation). Being saved, we can now learn it; by understanding and believing in what it says (never works), we can thus learn to enjoy our inheritance in Him. Additionally, the Bible's few "do" commandments, teach and refresh you; since although the body is dying biology so not spiritual, the "do" commands give it a role compatible with what is spiritual. Even suffering is made profitable, in God's Inheritance Plan. See? It's always about believing-in, never about sin, merit, or human anything. So no one is ever excluded. Morality is supposed to be refreshing, not repressing. Morality is never spiritual. Compatible with spiritual when 1 John 1:9 used and you're living in God's System. Else, morality is the jewel in Satan's Crown.

  1. Ok, He paid while on the Cross.. But how did that actually work? How was His Payment on the Cross constructed and juridicated? Infinite, Holy God the Father imputed and judged all sin on Christ's Humanity while He was on the Cross to erase the spiritual-death barrier sin created. Hence His physical death didn't pay for sins, nor do ours. For, God is a Spiritual Being, so man needs also to become a spiritual being, to have relationship with God; so funding to spiritually birth anyone who believed in Christ, is the solution. So, that funding, must also be spiritual, not physical. (If you amalgamate both the Hebrew and Greek God-inspired texts of Isaiah 53:10-12, which all the rest of Scripture 'looks at' when it 'talks', you'll find this mechanic explained exactly.)

Here's how it worked: technically, Christ did not use His Own Deity's Ability to pay for sins (since Deity didn't sin, our humanity did); instead, in His Humanity He learned Bible as it was then revealed, via the Holy Spirit teaching Him through whomever was his own right pastor (rabbi/teacher, in those days); then, with that Bible in His Head, He relied on the Holy Spirit's Infinite Power to deposit and cycle Infinite Truth Learned into His human soul's thinking. And then, while on the Cross, He relied on that Same Power to keep on thinking that Truth. The Infinite quality of that Truth cycling, paid for all the sins and the judgement on them: which at the same time, were "lacerating" His soul (term is in Isaiah53, means javelin-piercings).

Matthew 4 shows the process. Satan fires a temptation, and the Lord meets it with Bible. As a believer, you do this also. Think of how, when some temptation hits you, you fire a Bible verse at the temptation — sometimes repeatedly! — and you finally get relief. It's like exercise, but of the soul, not the body. So you get stronger. That's really how the spiritual life works: a thought comes, and a Bible thought is to 'meet' it. The two merge, and now an association of the incoming thought and the Bible answer, merge. It's like a DNA-RNA interaction. Of course, if you meet that thought with something else, you've created a different 'instruction' and that will strengthen you away from God. So when sins were incoming to Christ, He thought Bible and thus the sins merged with the Bible answer, thus creating a pleasing result which Father always sees. It's only the thought which counts. All body stuff is but reflection of thought. Body on its own is dead, James 2:26.

The real you is your soul, not your body. Body is just a house. What a soul 'does', is think. Now take that analogy, and 'infinitize' it. God is Real, and God is Pure Thought (which is why you can't see God). Since God is Infinite Thought and you are finite thought and all sin is really thought, therefore the payment on the cross was an exchange of christ'S thinking for sins' thinking. Only a soul can sin. Only a Divinely-Instructed Soul can pay for sin, thought for thought. All sin is thought — body is merely a bundle of corpuscles obeying thought. Many (inspired, real Bible) original language verses prove this mechanic, like Isaiah 53:11 and 2 Corinthians 5:21. Since Truth-thinking is immaterial, it can be replicated without loss: you see the thoughts on this page, and they remain on the page, but are now also in your head. That's how Christ could get the Truth deposited into Him via the Holy Spirit; and, how Christ could, in His Humanity, nonetheless Think as God Thinks, again via the Spirit. Now watch: that Beautimous Thinking in 'reply' to all the horror of sin-thinking, while on the Cross, justified the sin-thinking: since the sin-thinking occasioned His Thinking 'replies'. Had the sin not occurred, His Thoughts on it would not have occurred, either; hence, it's a true payment. Kinda like getting a bazillion dollars for spending, one dollar, Bible says (i.e., in Ephesians 1, "riches of His Glory" verses, many others).

The thought of being rich drives people. The thought of being loved/admired, drives people. The thought you hear in someone else, drives you to react favorably or unfavorably. Thought has more power than an atom bomb. How much more, then, God's Thought would be pleasing to hear? Far outweighing the ugliness of sin thinking? Look how your thought changes when you read the next two sentences. The bum lay in the gutter, reeking of sour wine. Yet when his glazed eyes saw two hoods start to rape a girl nearby, he arose and chased them off. See how the second sentence, 'paid' for the first one? Had the bum not been there reeking, the girl would have been raped. So if we had not sinned, there'd have been no counter thinking to do. Paul makes so much of this counter value in Romans 5 (stressing Tier C in Romans 5:17,21), he has to begin Romans 6 by saying, "What, should we keep sinning, that Grace may abound?" No wonder.

His Thinking Value 'buys' you the very Righteousness of God, since His Thoughts about you while He was on the Cross, were Infinitely-Righteous Truth. All of 2 Corinthians 5 and Romans 5-8, center on this fact, and Bible repeats the fact in hundreds of ways, throughout the original language texts. So, that first second you believed in Him, you became a spiritual being (Titus 3:5, 2 Corinthians 5:17); you became as righteous as God himself (2 Corinthians 5:21); and you have God's Own Life (John 3, translation should say Eternal life, not "everlasting" life). So now you are Compatible In Nature with God; that's why you are forever saved. Can't lose a life which isn't created: namely, God's Own Life.

And you can quickly understand how this exchange works: a thought which hurts you can be 'answered' by a thought which 'parries' or 'defeats' the hurtful thought; notice how you need truth to answer the hurtful thought, so you will be satisfied ("propitiation", in Bible) despite the hurt. We all have them.

It's pretty easy to see how the thought, "I don't want to get out of bed" is satisfied by the thought, "Yeah, but I'll make money today, if I do." Notice how a reason for doing what you didn't want, satisfied what you gave up. You really didn't sacrifice anything, but instead chose a better gain.

It becomes harder to see how our puny thoughts, all of which are sin-tainted (sin nature is in the body, so really taints every thought), are egregiously ugly to hear. So need satisfying counter thoughts, as we need our own, to even get up in the morning. It's egregiously ugly for God to hear someone be self-righteous, self-important, irritated, judging, maligning, stealing, jealous, greedy, oh-how-i-deserve, look-how-good-i-am, fornicating, taking drugs, crusading, lying, thinking what he does God should reward. In essence, we spend our lives demanding our own rights, but.. What about, God's? He's the one who made us, y'know...

This list of billions upon billions of yucky thoughts we humans are constantly thinking, goes on and on. Worst of all, we treat God like a dog, as if He's supposed to go fetch for us all the goodies of this life we want, and He's supposed to be satisfied if we give money, do some good deed, go to mosque/ synagogue/ church on Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday, read a Koranic/ Tanakh/ Bible verse? If you were God: wouldn't you find all that disgusting? So how do you get paid? Well, thoughts are what's disgusting, so counter Thoughts must be the proper 'currency'. Body's not to blame, it's a mindless thing. Takes a mind, takes volition, to sin.

Uniquely, Christ received all that disgusting thought! He 'replied' to it all with Counter-Thoughts-of-Divine-Truth. Thus He chose to embrace it all, didn't react to it. So Christ was like a Lamb, being attacked by all mankind's disgusting, hurtful thoughts throughout all time, as well as by judgement due on them; all the while, embracing the suffering by means of some Infinite Truth thought, just as God thinks when He 'hears' it; but this embrace is occurring in a human soul. Hence, it can pay. So now Holy God can let us get up in the morning. He got a better gain, 2000 years ago.

For, now every hurtful thought is in association with a (then-new) thought which is beautiful, healing. So makes for a wonderful experience, rather than a lacerating one. So when you sin in time, the past payment on that thought, is associated with the sin you're currently committing; that's why you are allowed to sin, to even breathe. Therefore, Bible frequently calls His Payment a "wonderful aroma" ("sweet savor" in KJV). You and I don't smell good when we are sinning. Christ, however, smells so wonderful, you and I now do as well. So, we are still breathing. For, God has First Rights. Like it or lump it.

Hence the justice of the imputation and judgement of sins, was structurally unimpeachable (three Independent Persons, three independent justice functions). So Holy God (Father) could rightly accept the Thinking-Truth Payment from Christ. Bible legal terms for God's acceptance are "Atonement" and "Propitiation".

  1. So why must one believe to be saved, since He already paid for sin and God already accepted His Payment? It's true that your debt was paid, whether you ever believe in Christ or not; sin is no longer an issue; but that still leaves the sole question of whether you believe in Christ or not (John 16:9). See, God is one party in this contract offer (Galatians 3:19-20, Greek) — but you are the other party, the one offered the contract. So if you say "no", then you reject God Himself. So how can He force you to live with Him? He'd not be God, but instead sinning Himself, if He forced you.

God doesn't force people to Hell, and Hell doesn't compensate Him for anything: that's why there was a Cross, because only the Christ, could pay. Instead, Hell is what people (and demons) elect, when they reject God throughout their pre-eternal lifetimes. For, they elect what God is not, then. The opposite of God, is hell. God is grace, hell is no-grace, dog-eat-dog, i-do-for-you-and-you-do-for-me, etc. God as a designer label for one's own ego! Think of hell as the last-stage permanent evangelisation by God. It has to be that bad, to keep open the free choice to believe in Christ. Yes, the sin nature is so destructive, if you keep giving into it, you are turned into a marionette. That level of horror is alone what keeps the option open, obviously.

Search the Bible all you like, and you never find a verse saying God forces anyone to stay in hell. Only, that they go there. You also don't find a verse anywhere of anyone believing in Christ after they go there. Most Christians have a certain glee about saying people are locked in hell — usually people they don't like — but Bible doesn't say that. So if God is never willing that anyone should perish (caps are corrected translation of 2 Peter 3:9) — then Hell (and the later Lake of Fire) must be functioning as a last-ditch Gospel warning. Forever. So people stay there because they refuse the Gospel, even as they go there in the first place because they refuse to believe. Believe or burn. Stark, simple, and.. Since God is never willing, the people who stay in Hell/Lake of Fire, must be the ones willing. See what damage sin does? You come to either love God, or love your own self-righteous fantasy of martyrdom, like Satan does. Scary.

Life down here is a little foretaste of hell, too: look how hellish we humans treat each other, huh? Always preening, pandering, pawning, politicking; treating God like a dog, expecting Him to go fetch for us just because we tinkled a few coins in some charity tin at an intersection; because we chant or twirl around some noisy prayer wheel; because we fast or gorge or wear our hair long/short bathe/don't bathe; because we nod at Him on Friday or Saturday or Sunday; because we stopped eating meat or pork; yeah, what does Holy God, need with all that? And He's supposed to be grateful? Puh-lease. The hypocrisy is endless, and endlessly disgusting: all anyone really cares about, is his own self-opinion. We're sick!

So again, God would be sinning Himself, not to give people what they want — and if they don't want grace salvation (believe-only, can't be more free), then they want hell. Ergo a lifetime's worth of disclosure, prior to death, "for He is never willing that any should perish", 2 Peter 3:9.

So the question is, do you believe in the Christ's Payment, as well? God does; the consequent inheritance Christ's Payment bought, is also God the Father's Election for you; but.. Do you want it? God never coerces volition. Wouldn't coerce His Own, nor Christ's, nor yours. So believe Christ paid for all your sins, and you are forever rescued, saved-to-God.

  1. You keep on stressing 1 John 1:9 in your webpages. But here you've just said that the debt was paid, and believing in Christ saves. So why is 1 John 1:9 needed? It's needed, because of the Inheritance. If you look back in #3 here, you'll notice there are three tiers for the inheritance. The B tier requires you be in God's System, for you can't learn about your inheritance, nor how to use it, otherwise. For it takes God's Power to grow you, and if you are in a state of sin, you are rejecting His Power. It's not the sin itself, anymore: sins were paid. It's now the rejection of getting His Power, which creates the need to name the sin which motivated the rejection. You're admitting the rejection, and the particular sin is the motive for it. I often just breathe 1 John 1:9 even if I'm not sure I had sinned, since it's so important to stay in God's System. Most Christians don't even know about 1 John 1:9, so are not in God's System. Their lives are wasted.

Being saved does not mean you think like God does; to learn your inheritance, requires you learn to think as God does, as Christ did: Romans 8, Ephesians 3:15-19, Ephesians 4:12-16, many other passages. For, like Christ you are to learn to become a king-Priest: that is God's Will for your life, just as it was for Christ, and He Legated to us a Ruling Inheritance. (See Revelation 1:6, 5:10, 1 Peter 2:5,9, 1 Corinthians 4:8 (sarcastic, all of Hebrews and Ephesians, "inherit the Kingdom", "endure" verses, many other passages.) So you need to breathe 1 John 1:9 as part of being in God's System.

Again, just as with salvation, the question is whether you want to elect against His Will while you still breathe down here. His Will, is to give you your full inheritance, not just the de minimis A level of being forever saved (Ephesians 1); but, you can still reject B and C. So 1 John 1:9 is an admission, kinda like salvation is an admission, that what God elects, is right. So, you want 'back into the relationship' functionally, to keep on learning. Just as, when you have a dispute with family member: can't ever stop being family, but still you have to reconcile to go back to a functioning relationship; so too, here.

God never coerces. Yes, you are saved forever; but to sin in time, though completely paid for, still means you don't want a functioning relationship. So, you aren't: your spiritual life is comatose until you name whatever sin you remember, to God. Then, He purifies you from all the other interim wrongs, too (which you don't yet understand or remember). (1 John 1:9 in translation is often wrong; "cleanses" should be "purifies"; Greek is a Temple-sanctifying word, καθαρίζω.) So the functional relationship resumes, and so can the learning. Clearly, then, you'd want to breathe 1 John 1:9 all the time, lest your spiritual life go "off". For, there is a lot to learn. Takes a lifetime.

When you first believed in Christ, you became Royal Family of God. That positional Status ("in Christ") never changes, but your functional status, does. A prince is always a prince, but he can be a non-functioning prince or a poorly functioning one: that's the analogy. For example, although Princess Diana is now dead, she is still Princess Diana. So even death doesn't change the position, but the royal function, requires extensive training. All of my webpages cover the Royal Family of God Status issue and its implications in variant ways.

  1. But why does one go to hell for never believing in Christ's Payment, since He paid the debt? Doesn't seem fair to God or the unbeliever. It's fair to God, since He got paid. And, especially since He did get paid, it's not fair for God to coerce: for, if you never once believe in Christ, you "elect against the will", so you reject what God accepted, in favor of some alternative 'good' of your own; so Hell would be the only alternative future, John 3:36. See also Romans 4, Galatians 3, Hebrews 9:15ff, Hebrews 10:9, Revelation 20:11-15, KJV. A beneficiary of a will can reject the testator's grant. This is first true in Bible law, which is how in civil law the globe over, man came to have a secular counterpart, which in America is called "elect against the will". It's irrevocable, in secular law; you don't get a second chance; but it never becomes irrevocable in God's Law, until the moment of physical death; maybe even those in hell continue to have the option. Thinking Series link at Home Page top explores this subject as one of its threaded subthemes.

To never believe Christ's Payment for your sins saves you, is a rejection; and instead, an acceptance of something else to justify a relationship with God. 'Fallen' angels (AKA devils, demons) reject what God accepts, and want to substitute something else. Well, God doesn't accept anything else, because if God Himself ever sinned, a death occurs; hence, a barrier bigger than the resultant (post-sin) self, is created. So, the being sinning is now too corrupt to undo the damage by any substitute works, etc. So, the damage must be removed by someone bigger than self. Hence the Cross Payment works as explained above (in #5).

So to reject what would be true even if God had done it (sin's irremediable consequences), is to prefer a lie. To prefer the lie is to prefer death and hell, since that's what lies buy. God didn't make the Truth; Truth is uncreated, even as God is uncreated, so Truth is an 'Attribute' (so to speak) of God Himself; so He'd be committing suicide, if He sinned, and there'd be no remedy. Since we are not God, He can remedy our spiritual suicide. So to reject what God accepts, is to reject the truth, and that can only mean to elect hell forever. It's a property of life, this relationship between lies and hell; not, some petty person's imposition. For if God Himself were to ever sin, He Himself would be a living hell inside Himself. So again, it's just how the Truth, is: not some tyrannical imposition. [Nerd note: God is Infinite, but is Total Free Will. So He is also Omnipotent, meaning He can sin. But, never will. If there was ever a logical point in time where God would sin, He'd be corrupt already, since God is timeless by nature (a property of Infinity is timelessness).]

People really want the 'bad'. Especially, the bad of religion. Every criminal ever born practices his criminality because it makes him feel good. He becomes so hooked on that feeling, that he becomes even self-righteous about it. He steals from people who "deserve it." He murders people who "deserve it." Those are religious motives, and religion was the first temptation, if you eat this magic fruit, 🤣 you will be just as good as God. Religion still buys that same Genesis 3 temptation. So do criminals. The pea isn't under any walnut shell, the result of giving in is always frustration — but hey, if sure feels good to give in! Rejecting God's offer of salvation is the most criminal thing one can do. So it's the most addicting, as well. So one comes to love the feeling of rejecting Him so much, even Hell is heavenly. Oh, the martyrdom of the rich guy in Luke 16:20ff, how he loves playing the victim!

Have you ever tried to help someone who, no matter what you suggest, they turn it down? So after some years you realize, they don't want the problem solved, they just love complaining about it! Bingo.

So people go and stay in hell because it's what they want. God didn't want it. God won't coerce. You always get what you want from God. So be careful to analyze what you want!
