This one is among that hokey 1960s genre, Story of Ruth with Stuart Whitman. Like all Bible movies, it's mostly inaccurate, but still helps one think through historical meanings. If you watch it in Youtube, you'll find a lot of Bible movies alongside, in the sidebar.

DANIEL, starring Lance Henrikson (of Alien fame) as Cyrus. Focus is on Daniel 9, rightly dated as 538BC. Plausible idea that immediately after Daniel prayed the Chapter 9 prayer, he is found by Cyrus, and talked to him about Isaiah 45, which led to the ONLY human decree about Jeru (someday scholars will regain competence and stop claiming Dan9:24 is about an earthly king). They really get a lot of Bible right, here, even Dan 6:18's Hebrew meaning of WOMEN as 'entertainment', not 'instruments of musick'.

Here's where you can buy the movie: ... 00D6I7DEE/

Greatest Heroes of the Bible with some great actors of my youth (i.e., Vic Morrow of Combat! fame)

JOSEPH with Ben Kingsley playing Potiphar. It's a thoughtful version, gets stuff wrong like all Bible movies, but still worth watching.
