If you'll go to your User Control Panel and then select Profile, one of the choices you get is Avatar. Little square icon to depict 'you', in a page of posts. Very helpful for following a long dialogue. Not needed now, maybe, but eventually. Default option is for you to upload your own from your hard drive, limited to 10KB in size. The pixel limit stated, only matters for uploads. So if the avatar you want is bigger, send it to me and I'll put it in the gallery, since only size matters there. Or, make it a Gravatar and use that.

I can't find a way to make the avatar picture in the posts, smaller.
