UPDATE

http://www.macrumors.com/2016/12/07/mac ... ues-email/

Apple have suggested to solve this issue to upgrade to macOS 10.12.2 Beta to solve this serious issue.

As it stands Apple are telling the user in order to get their equipment to perform as it should they recommend running Beta software.

Utterly Outrageous.
